I sat in the room they put me in, it was dusty, but it didn't bring any of those memories back, they were different and I knew that, the way they spoke, the way they walked and the way they acted, but I didn't say anything as i sat down in a corner of the room

"Hey..." I looked up at Silver who had a reassuring smile "Everything's going to be fine"

"You always say that" I mumbled quietly

"I know, but this time really is, I promise" He frowned a little "It just needs time"

"okay..."

A few months had passed and the kid, Sonic was still quiet and hesitated a lot, he never asked for anything and never complained, he'd always back away whenever Me and Eclipse got into a fight and all of Malice's attempts to find out were vage and the same thing, pain, blood and innocence, in every room it was the same, and it sickened them

but there was always something else that followed the boy, something that made they tread cautiously, he'd listen to everything they said and obeyed them to the utter end, it wasn't as any of them had planned for this to go

"If hunters role up in town and go poking around they'll see that he's acting unlike the other kids and assume that we're 'monsters' Mephilies" Shadow muttered as he drank from the glass in his hands, at first glance it seemed as a regular glass of wine, but closer up you could see it was thinker and more opaque in colour and with a coppery scent

"I know, I know" Mephilies sighed "But I don't know what to do"

"Get that witch and his wolf boyfriend?" Eclipse hummed as he walked into the room causeing the two to turn to him

'Oh hell no, those two are basteds!" Shadow growled "The witch wouldn't do what he's asked, even if it meant saving his own life and that wolf doesn't have a pack for a reason"

"I don't have a pack either Shadow, so shut the hell up before i bite your fucking head off' Eclipse growled

"Enough" Mephilies snapped, "Eclipse if you think they can help them go, Shadow if you don't like this go up to your room, understand?"

"Yes Mephilies" They both said at the same time, Eclipse had a grin while Shadow scowled

"Good" Mephilies stated "Malice and Sonic will return shortly, Eclipse I suggest you leave the soonest you can"

"Will do" Eclipse grinned wide and toothy as his tail moved side to side 

Shadow just swallowed the last of the blood in his glass before going upstairs and slamming the door, Mephilies shook his head as Eclipse skipped to the door and waved good by and disappeared into the forest

Eclipse walked calmly through a think patch of bushes and trees, following the scent of herbs and blood, it was easy really to find where they'd set up their latest camp, soon enough he heard the chatter 

he hummed softly to himself as he saw the flames of a fire and a carcass of what seemed to be a mortals remains over it, cooked median rare, it made his mouth water, the eyes looked to have already be removed along with the heart and whatever else laid in the pile on the wooden tree stump that had been claimed as a workbench

"Nice place the two of ya got" He grinned as he emerged to find the two he was looking for sitting all cuddly and bloody, the green hedgehog sitting on top of the yellow hedgehog who glared at him

"What do you want" the yellow hedgehog growled

"I need, well we need a favour" Eclipse hummed

"by we i'm guessing its you, the two gods? demons? and the vampire" the green one sighed

"Yep" Eclipse grinned as he glanced over at the cooked body "By the way, it seems you two have been busy~" he grin never faltering 

"And I smell mortal on you" The yellow one stated "Why's that?"

"Mephilies made us move into a mortal village and so we wouldn't get bothered by hunters he adopted a kid...which is why I'm here actually" Eclipse mumbled while the two looked at him, then each other, then back at him

"And what? You need us to kill him?" The yellow hedgehog rose a brow

"No, There's something wrong with him, and the house we're in Malice says all he can see is blood, pain and not a shred of innocence, it's all he can see in the child too" Eclipse answered "and we, well just me wanted to see if Scourge could see if he could get him to talk or at least figure out whats wrong"

"Your kidding" Scourge glared "You want me to use magic on this kid so you know why he's like that?"

"No, he's quiet and does everything we say, he's almost like a slave...and if Hunter's turn up there's no chance of us being dismissed and then we'll most likely be slaughtered" Eclipse stated

"Fine....just because I know that you won't get off my back if I don't do this" Scourge growled as he stood and started gathering the body parts that were on the stump and whatever else he had out, while the other just kept glaring

"What Fleetway?" Eclipse rose a brow

"You just ruined our moment asshole" Fleetway growled

"Aww were you gonna have little witch wolf babies?~" Eclipse teased with a smirk as they both went still and glared at him as their cheeks went bright red and Eclipse burst out laughing

Oof, this is the longest chapter in this book that i've written in awhile, Anyways my 7 year old sister picked the order of the votes that were place this is the first one, the next is Chaos born to be updated, then Our Story and lastly Half Blood
