We returned after we'd gotten a months worth of food for the child Mephilies and adopted, I just hope that Malice and Eclipse hadn't done anything stupid while we were gone, the house of course felt off, and the child? He felt different from any other mortal, he felt the same as the house, yet he was followed by a different aura, it was hard to tell, he acted like a slave or servant more than a child, how different was he?

"Shadow?" Mephilies spoke, catching my attention

"Hmm?" "Are you alright?" "Of course, what makes you think that?" "You look as if your ready to kill someone" "And is there a problem with that?" "Yes, unless you want to get us caught i suggest you have animals blood for a while to avoid suspicion" "As you wish" I sighed 'but have you noticed anything odd with the child?"

"Of course I have, no child is ever that quiet without a reason" Mephilies spoke I only nodded in response the walk back was long and tiring, but when we made it back there was awkwardness throughout the house and an unexpected chill

"You back" I heard Eclipse say as he greeted us from the front door, Malice not far behind

"I hope you two behaved yourselves" Mephilies stated

"Oh we did" Eclipse grinned "Though there's something weird with that kid" Malice remained silent, he;d know something, he always did, anywhere we went he'd gather knowledge just by touching our surroundings, and the look on his face told me enough of what he knew from this place

"Of course there's something weird about him, but it doesn't mean we should be pointing it out, it's not our place to judge, nor our place to contradict him, after-all aren't we just using him so we can stay hidden?" Malice spoke, it was bitter and sharp, unlike it usually was   

"Malice? What did you see this time?" Mephilies asked with a sigh

"Crimson..." he started with and fell silent as he looked at us "Pain...and...lost innocence..."
