Pic of the Pad Thai Kai and Raziel have for dinner ^^

Raziel's POV

I look at myself in the mirror. I look absolutely ridiculous. Kai sent me to try on this Pikachu onesie as he called it and so here I am standing in this horrible piece of clothing.

I don't know why I have a hard time following through when I say no to this human. I keep trying to distance myself from Kai. I don't want a human mate or 'to date' a human as the tiny humans on the magic box call it. Humans are too weak and it's a big risk for me.

But then I upset him and I can't handle the devastation on his face. It's like his entire essence is crying out for me to comfort him and I just can't resist. His sky blue eyes seemed to have been personally crafted by God to prove to me that the human race isn't that bad.

I sigh again, flipping the hood of this abysmal onesie on to my head. I can already picture his cute face lighting up when I walk out there in this atrocious, bright yellow onesie and that thought makes me smile.

I walk back into the living room and once Kai sees me, he jumps up and rushes towards me giggling.

"I love it! You look sooooo cute Raz! Can I take a picture?" Kai exclaims, holding up a rectangle. His eyes are sparkling with happiness; his smile bright enough to light up even the darkest of nights. His undeniable merriment results in a smile trying to spread across my face.

"Sure," I reply nonchalantly, trying to suppress my smile.

He steps back and raises his rectangle. He giggles and hurries back to my side but not before tripping on the rug. "Look! You're so cute!" He squeals and I fight the urge to cover my ears, not wanting to make him feel self conscious.

Before I can take a look at his rectangle, he covers his mouth. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be so loud or high pitched," he whispers, his joyful expression changing to one of worry. I roll my eyes. See this is why I didn't want to tell him!

I reach out and pinch his cheek, marvelling at its silky softness. "Human, did I not say you shouldn't change your behaviour," I scold.

"But- ow!" He swats my hand away since I tightened my hold on his cheek when he started to protest. He pouts at me and rubs his slightly pink cheek and I grin in return, ruffling his now dry hair. I saw someone on the magic box do that and it looked gratifying so I thought I'd try it! When I feel his undeniably fluffy hair run through my fingers, I know I'll definitely have to do that again.

"Raz," Kai says sweetly, a little too sweetly though and I narrow my eyes at him. "Do you want to see the picture I took?" A simple enough request but why does he seem suspicious?

"Yes," I reply skeptically and he holds his rectangle out for me to take a look.

I see an image of me pouting dressed in the Pikachu onesie. I lean forward to take a closer look when I feel something moist on my cheek. I jump back startled. "Did you, did you just lick me?" I ask in disbelief. I rub my cheek and sure enough find Kai's salvia on my palm when I remove it from my cheek.

Kai flashes me an innocent look before he dissolves into a fit of giggles.

What a weird human! I don't think licking people is considered normal! Is it?

"You taste a little like how you smell! Not as much as I expected but still yummy!" Kai says giggling.

"What in paradise is happening?" I ask tentatively and Kai giggles louder. His eyes are full of delight and his face scrunches up. His whole body vibrates and his cheeks have the slightest tinge of pink. Heavens, he's so adorable when he giggles!

Kai takes a few calming breaths before he is able to get out any distinguishable words. "From the first time we hugged I wanted to lick you. You smell like freshly baked cookies! And I love cookies! So I wanted to see if you tasted like one," Kai says, giggling again at my baffled look.

This human is crazy! But as I watch him giggling I can't help but smile. I shake my head and chuckle. My crazy human.

Did I just think of him as mine! I shake my head and pick up the closest piece of clothing from a nearby box to distract myself from that thought.

"Should I try something else?" I question eyeing the grey long sleeved shirt with holes in it in my hands. Earth's fashion sure is peculiar!

Kai claps his hands excitedly and I leave the room to change.

I try on several more combinations of clothes before Kai calls an end to the fashion show. I ended up trying on less than a quarter of the outfits but Kai was getting hungry and so was I, so we plopped down on the couch to order something. 

"Maybe we can order pad Thai," Kai muses, looking at his rectangle. "What do you think, Raz?" He scoots closer to me on the couch so that our thighs are touching. I try to give him a questioning look but he just shoves his rectangle in my face.

"Yes!" I exclaim once I look at the picture on his rectangle. Who knew human food could look so good! And everything that I've eaten so far has been delicious!

Kai giggles at my excitement and says, "okay the food will be here in thirty minutes!"

Kai very slowly rests his head on my shoulder. I consider moving but having his alluring smell so close to me is making my brain short circuit. He relaxes after a few seconds when he realizes that I'm not pushing him away. He lets out a contented sigh and snuggles closer to me and I fight the urge to smile.

"We spent the whole day making and eating breakfast then me trying on clothes, don't you have school or your volunteer work?" I question after a moment of comfortable silence.

Kai picks up my hand that is resting in my lap, slides one of his hands underneath it and interlocks our fingers. I look down at my larger, darker hand practically engulfing his smaller, pale hand and smile. Acting on instinct, I tenderly rub the back of his hand with my thumb, and I see Kai smile in response which makes my smile broader.

With his other hand, Kai starts tracing patterns along the back of my hand. I almost moan as his gentle touches send electric sensations down my body.

Human, human, human. I remind myself.

"Today is Saturday, we don't have school on Saturdays and Sundays. Tomorrow is Sunday and I'm volunteering tomorrow," Kai explains.

"And did you finish your homework?" I ask, trying to focus on my words and not on what his touch is doing to me.

"I was going to do it tonight," Kai says absentmindedly. I chuckle. Knowing Kai he's not going to do it until tomorrow night.

I grab his hand indicating that I want him to stop tracing patterns on my skin, then quickly release it. Kai gets the hint and instead wraps the arm that I released around my bicep.

"Why are you laughing?" He says, readjusting his head on my shoulder.

"Were you really going to start tonight?" I question, unable to hide the amusement in my voice.

Kai pivots slightly to look at me. "Ok, I was going to do it tomorrow night," he whispers with a guilty smile. I chuckle but don't say anything in response and he snuggles back into my side.

"Kai, do you have a habit of taking home random strangers?" I question a few minutes later. I am curious about his response especially since I could have been dangerous and he's a defenseless human.

He sits up and turns around to face me, and I am unable to stop the smile that breaks onto my face when I see his radiant smile.

Kai bites his bottom lip and my eyes drift down to his rose-coloured lips. "Only sexy angels," he whispers and I feel a shudder run through my body. I lift my eyes to gaze into his beautiful orbs and I see the amusement in them. "Something distracting you Razzy?"

This sneaky human! I huff and immediately look away. Kai, still giggling, resumes resting his head on my shoulder. We sit like that until the doorbell rings, indicating that our food is here. We eat our delicious pad Thai, then Kai actually does his homework while I sit next to him watching the tiny humans on the magic box.
