Hi guys! Here it is, the next bonus chapter. Remember, I am uploading weekly now so please like and comment so I know whether you enjoy it or not.

Also, my other book has also been uploaded (it is also weekly) and is a fantasy romance. Check it out!

Let me know what bonus chapters you'd like to see in the comments.

So without further ado, the chapter-

My eyebrows raised at this and I leaned forward.
"And if I do touch him?" I challenged, trying not to look scared at the threatening look he was giving me.

Aaron pulled my body into his and I gasped at the intimate contact.
"Don't test me, Lexi." He forced out, looking down at the ground with his hair shielding his beautiful face.

I tilted his face up with a finger and looked into his eyes.
"Well, consider yourself already tested, Aaron." I said simply.

Aaron's eyebrow raised in confusion and he didn't talk, waiting for me to clarify. I smirked at him, feeling the hurt bubbling in me.

"Avalon." Aaron moaned into my neck

'Elliot and I have already kissed."

Aaron and Lexi's argument from Aaron's POV Part 2

And if I do touch him?" His heart thudded loudly as she spoke the foreign words. His haughty pretense fell away then as he reached for her, needing her touch to know she was still within his reach. She let out an all familiar gasp as his body touched against hers: a gasp that did wondrous things to his heart.

"Don't test me, Lexi." He couldn't even look at her or else she'd catch all the emotions he was feeling. He wasn't threatening her; he was pleading. If she wanted, he'd get on his knees and beg her to be all his. He'd do it without hesitation or embarrassment.

He felt the warmth of her finger as she raised his  face to look at him. The look in her eyes scared him in ways he couldn't explain.

"Well, consider yourself already tested, Aaron." Was all she said but it was enough to rip his heart in half. All he could do was wait for her to clarify and then she smirked in a way he didn't recognise.

'Elliot and I have already kissed."

****************

Silence.

It was all he could give in that very moment; the only feasible action in that moment. As soon as those words had left her mouth, his mind had gone blank.

A raging blanket that wrung out every inch of his brain.

He had heard her right, he knew that, but it didn't stop him from refusing to believe it. It didn't stop him from hoping that he had just heard her wrong; that she hadn't done this to him. Yet, one look into her firm eyes and he knew every word she spoke was the absolute truth. 6 mere words and his world had come crumbling down around him in ways he didn't anticipate would happen. It was heartbreak he felt, he knew that now, but another emotion was festering to the top, growing uncontrollably.

Anger.

At first, it was miniscule: a small pit of a feeling that he had tried to shove down to the depths of his heart as they argued, but now it was different. Now, the picture of Lexi kissing another man was not only vivid, but also real. While he was thinking of his lips on hers last night, she had kissed another as though their relationship meant nothing.

He couldn't control the fury it caused to surface. He hadn't ever felt the violent emotion like this before: the urge to seek Elliot's blood was palpable. It wasn't just anger, however, it was an unhealthy possessiveness and jealousy that wracked his entire body until he was nothing more than red: a walking embodiment of fury. Even now, all he could hear was his blood pumping in his ears as his breathing increased with the anger. It didn't help that Lexi was challenging him with her eyes; challenging him on what, he wasn't too sure about, but it angered him to think that she had no concern about his feelings for her. Nor, did it seem as though she reciprocated any of those emotions towards him. It was almost as though she wanted to hurt him and he hated that. He hated how she was treating him.

It made the anger grow as he stared at her with dark eyes, not able to hide away the emotions he had tried so hard to keep away from her. She could see him as the raging mess he was, his hands clenching by his side as he looked at her defiant eyes. He wanted so bad to claim her mouth with his, to hold her to him even if it was forcefully, until she knew she was his. He felt the urge prickle through him so strongly, but he tried hard to fight it. If she didn't want him then what was the point of forcing her to want him.

Still, he couldn't walk away. He could only give into the anger and- after what seemed like an eternity of silence- he opened his mouth, letting his rage take the reigns.

"You'd better hope I heard you wrong." His voice was dark even to him as he loomed closer to her. Albeit it coming out with anger, he had meant the words. He wanted to hope that he had misheard her; that she hadn't done what she did.

But then, she gasped, looking to him in anger and he knew that there was no use in denying the truth. She had done it and she didn't regret it.

She lifted her chin up defiantly again, folding her arms.
"Well, just in case you did hear incorrectly, I'll repeat it for you. Elliot and I have already k-"

Before she could complete my sentence, however, Aaron's anger took over yet again and he lurched forward, putting his hands against her shoulders. The very thought that she could easily repeat it without consideration of his feelings made the anger grow as well as the bloodthirst towards Elliot.

"Don't toy around with me, Lexi. You should know that jokes like that don't humour me." He warned in a cold tone, hoping she would just stop how and stop breaking him down further and further, but Lexi was never to relent. Aaron could tell when she laughed, smirking at him as though she was enjoying his pain.

"Do I look like a comedian? I don't joke around and nor will I ever." She simply said, a smug look in her eyes as though they were in competition and it confused him entirely. Were they not happy together? Granted, they were moving slow and there were no labels, but he had enjoyed the slow progression into their relationship. He had enjoyed getting to know her as a friend before romantically; it was something that was so new and enticing to him.

"You shouldn't have done that." He blurted out before he could think, referring to the kiss. He tried to keep his voice levelled so he wouldn't allow her in more than he already had but he was failing terribly. Even more so, when she tried to push him away. Was his presence really that irksome for her?

"Why? Why shouldn't I have done that, Aaron?! Give me one good reason." Her voice was choked up as though she couldn't think of any good reason as to why he'd be angry at her kissing another man. The idea of it was ridiculous and he moved back from her then- a look of raw anger on his face. His eyes were dark; his hair dishevelled as he looked at her in incredulity.

"Because I.." He said, but then stopped himself before he let his heart carry on. He was going to disclose everything then: how he felt and how those emotions were just growing like a raging blossoming field. He thought about it for a moment, about what would happen if he were to open his mouth. Yet, the words wouldn't leave his mouth and he could only look at her gave before looking back down in thought. She interrupted his thoughts with a sigh.

"Because what, Aaron?" Her voice was tired as though she could deal with him anymore  and he decided against saying anything then. If she was already tired of his hurt then his love would only burden her further. Still, he couldn't find it in himself to concede as he looked at her steadily.

"Because I am your boyfriend and I don't have to give any further explanation than that." He finalised in an authoritative tone, feeling pathetic for using such words. He didn't want to force her to him, but he was helpless now. She was hellbent on leaving him and he knew he couldn't live without her. What else could he do but resort to force?

She gasped in anger yet again, moving closer to him.
"Fake boyfriend, Aaron and- regardless- you still can't control me." She said, reminding him exactly where he stood in her life. He opened his mouth to refuse it but she held her hand up yet again.

"And even if we were so called 'boyfriend and girlfriend' then you haven't been completely faithful either, have you, oh dear boyfriend?" She spoke in an angry tone and now he was just confused, the anger dissipating.

"Last night." She tried to clarify, but all he could remember of last night was her body entangled with his. When exactly had he done something wrong? When he stayed silent, she rolled her eyes in annoyance, her hands tightening by her side.

"You didn't say my name. You said hers. You said... Avalon." Her voice was bitter and it was then he felt the shock fill him at the name he hadn't heard in so long.

Avalon.

She had once been a huge part of his life and- in a time where his family life had become too much to bear- she had become a good memory he could cling to. So, he had done just that, allowing their relationship to become the definition of his very being. It was all that kept him grounded in such a volatile time. Which was why it had hurt so much when she left; why it still hurt now. Her having left him meant he had to confront his family situation but he couldn't do it. So, instead, he chose to find other distractions to fill the gap, so he wouldn't have to think of how shit his life was. He wouldn't have to think at all if he clung to other things.

He had hoped that, after he heard the news of his mother's ailment, a beauty like Lexi would do good to distract him, but she wasn't like the others. She didn't let him forget any of the sadness nor did she offer any distractions. She entwined herself in his life like no other until he had to come to terms with all that had happened so as to make sense of what was unfolding now. Even when she could make him the happiest man in the world, she could just as easily break his heart.

Avalon and Lexi were entirely different in that sense then.

Avalon had been a tantalising mask of opium that allowed him to forget and it had felt like a series of withdrawal symptoms when she had left. Lexi, on the other hand, was a striking iron of reality that lay him bare with every growing insecurity. In her, he could finally find himself, but wouldn't it be easier to hide behind distractions? Hadn't he been hurt enough?

"Oh, so you thought I didn't notice, huh?" Lexi spoke again when he stayed silent, breaking him out of his thoughts. Her voice was cold as were her eyes and he couldn't look at her, not when she was eyeing him with such disdain.

"How do you know about her?" He questioned instead of answering her question, but even this question was difficult to delve into. He had never wanted her to know about Avalon. Not because he wanted to keep secrets from her, no. She, above all, knew about his reputation so why hide this from her? No, it was because Avalon and Lexi were two parallels in his life that he never wanted to collide. One would be his downfall; the other his salvation. He just didn't know which would be which right now.

Lexi scoffed bitterly, still eyeing him with her sharp gaze.
"I don't just know who she is. I know what happened too. I know everything there is to know about her." She said and Aaron couldn't help but give into the instinctual defensiveness as he moved closer.

"Don't talk about her in that tone." He warned, but not for Avalon but for himself. In that moment, Lexi was doing it again: being a cold splash of reality that was ruining his mirage of the past. He wanted to still believe of Avalon as a good distraction; to believe that his life hadn't been a complete lie, so he had denied the truth of what she had done. Yet he knew his Lexi; she would not relent nor shy away from the truth. This trait of of hers hurt as much as it delighted.

At his words, her eyes filled with such heaviness that his heart ached. He left his heart crack as a tear slipped down her cheek. He had done that: he had been the reason for her sadness. He reached out to her instinctively, but she stumbled back, hitting against the door softly.

"So much love." She muttered more to herself than anyone else, but he still heard it and he moved closer, opening his mouth to disagree to her words. It wasn't love; it was a comfort zone.

"If she loved you as much as you love her, she would still be here, begging on her knees for forgiveness for what she did. She would still be here, trying to win you back, but she's not and you need to consider that." Lexi said, speaking with a cold truth that was melting away the dream-touched delusions of his memories.

He couldn't take the truth, not like this: not when his mother was at death's door and Lexi was leaving him for another man. How else would he deal with all the pain if not for with his distractions? Lexi couldn't ruin his delusions if she wouldn't stay to help him after. She couldn't.

"She doesn't have to be begging on her knees for forgiveness. It wasn't her fault." He said to console himself and no one else. He couldn't find it in him to admit the truth.

Lexi scoffed yet again, leaning back to look at him like he was an idiot. He knew he was but it was rather that than being hurt.
"It wasn't? Then who's fault was it, may I ask?" She retorted and he thought of the source of all the pain. The male that had ruined his mirage with Avalon and had now taken the only girl he ever had true feelings for.

Elliot.

"Him. It was all his fault." He blurted out, his voice soaked in nothing but contempt and Lexi sighed in what seemed to be annoyance.

"I know you're angry, but if you can't change the past there's no point dwelling on it." She spoke as though he was insane and he couldn't take her dismissing his words. He could only move closer, trying to get her to see reason like she usually would.

"You think he's such a saint, huh? Well, he's just as much at fault as she is, so let's see how good he sounds when you know the real him." He finally began the truth, wanting things to be different this time. If Lexi believed him, he would confront his demons as long as she stayed by his side.

Her eyebrows furrowed at his words.
"He? What are you talki-"

Aaron interrupted her before she could finish, wanting to end this fight. He needed her now.

"Elliot. That's the 'he' I'm referring to. You make him sound like such a saint, but I bet you didn't know he was the one to sleep with her. With Avalon." He said, straining out the last sentence. He was exhausted now, wanting only to get back to where they left off yesterday.

He waited in anticipation as he could see the cogs turning in her head, his hands clenched by his side. It was only when she began speaking that his hands unclenched by his side.

"I understand now." She said, a thoughtful look on my face as she looked at Aaron and he let out a sigh of relief at this. Finally, he could move on, was his only thought as he placed a hand on her shoulder to feel the comfort of her touch.

"You do?" He asked hopefully but that was dashed as soon as she pushed his hand off, looking at him coldly as she spoke.

"You lied to me.This whole tragic sap story about how Avalon cheated on you with Elliot is a lie. That never really happened, did it?" She began and he opened his mouth to refute it, but she continued to speak.

"It was actually you, wasn't it? You were the one that slept with his girlfriend. That's why you don't want anything bad said about her or you don't need her forgiveness. It's because you both were on the same side, conspiring against Elliot. That's why he left, not afraid because he was going to get beaten up again, but out of despair and that's why you don't want me near him. It's because you're paranoid that he's going to take revenge on you for the Avalon incident and sleep with me and you can't bear that happening." She said, pointing a finger at him accusingly. She was giving him the most hateful look but he couldn't find himself reacting to it anymore.

His body and mind had ceased to function at he words she had spoken. He had expected her to shout at him, to call him stupid, but to completely mistrust him and believe another man's words hurt in a way that he couldn't begin to describe.

"You think I'm lying to you?" Was all that he could say, trying to keep his voice steady and she nodded without hesitation, making him inhale sharply. With that one nod, the entire fight in him had left. There was nothing now.

He moved to leave then and she moved back, looking slightly scared. It only angered and hurt him more, but he continued, moving her away from the door so he could leave. She just watched as he opened the door before he Turner to her.

"Fine. Believe what you want. Who am I to argue with you, Alexis." And- with that- he was gone, shutting the door behind him loudly. He realised he hadn't called her Lexi but he couldn't find it in him to. How could he call her that?

She wasn't his Lexi, after all.

Coming up for next week's chapter...

Raven, on the other hand, was the least sweetest. Well, in the way she acted, but I knew she loved the deepest. Whenever Savannah, Raven and I hung out, it was always Raven who would get us into crazy situations. I remembered fondly about a time when Raven had spontaneously taken us to Las Vegas and we spent 4 nights out. She hadn't even told the boys and to say they were angry when we got back was an understatement. They were seething, especially after we told them where we had went. After that, the boys were extra cautious around her.

Raven, Savannah and Lexi go Vegas without telling the boys for 4 days.
