I...don't like this ship at all.I actually hate it and think it makes no sense at all.

First off,they only met twice I think.The only time I think they actually had interacted as when he taught her,Zera,and the other fairy tail founders magic,and when he killed her.And throughout all the manga,Mavis showed no sign of affection for Zeref.

And Zeref's sudden feelings for Mavis.There is possibly no way that could have happened,because they barely interacted.And if Zeref had enough time to fall for Mavis,wouldn't Mavis show some sort of affection for him?

And don't even get me started on the recent arc.They (supposedly) had a child together,and honestly I have a bunch of problems with that.Now you're probably like "Oh she just doesn't like it because Mavis is in the body of a 12 year old!"Or whatever.No.Remember,I ship NaWen.What I have a problem with,is the fact that Mavis shows no knowledge of this.Don't you think that this would've been an important thing to tell her guild when oh I don't know...YOU ARE AT WAR WITH THE FATHER OF YOUR CHILD.Did she not think that it was important to say "Oh,I had a child with our enemy."That would've been something your guild (read:the people fighting and dying for you and your guild) would need to know.Right?RIGHT!

And let's go with the scenario that they did love each other.They are at war in this arc.Many people Mavis cared about have been injured and/or killed because of zeref.Makarov,whom mavis literally watched over him since he was born,has died trying to protect her guild from Zeref.Why would she still have feelings for him?Please explain to me why people think this makes sense,because it actually doesn't make any sense to me.
