The final chapter has come and gone,so now that everyone has forgotten about it,let's do a chapter on what I like and don't like about it.

1.)Gray's obvious OOC actions

Is this really how you wanted Gray,the cool headed,lovable Gray to go out.ONE OF THE ONLY CHARACTERS IN THIS SHOW WITH GOOD DEVELOPMENT!THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT HIM?

Jesus help me for I am pissed.

If you don't know,in the last chapter, Juvia got drunk and started stripping FOR NO REASON,and then Gray dragged her away,complaining about her scar showing,which I call bullshit because she's made out of water,most of her injuries in this arc shouldn't have been plausible.When Juvia points out that he had a scar,he replied with,"It's différent for women."

Like what the hell Mashima.Is this really how you wanted this thing to go out?So apparently all of the stalking and harassment Juvia caused just goes down the drain right.

This is so out of character I just had to stop and reflect of my life choices for a bit,because when have you ever,ever seen Gray being somewhat close to a misogynist.The answer is never.Because that's not how he was portrayed.Gray is seen as a coolheaded and a down-to-earth guy.But apparently,his whole character is just forgotten just so this ship can become "canon".
And after that many many many many times we've seen Juvia stalk,harass,and threaten Gray and other people (some whom he's considered friends),why would he have any reason to love her.Care for her maybe,but love her,no.And his saying "your body is mine now."Just further proves my point that this was a crappy way to make this ship canon.

How are you Gruvia fans not mad at how this ship became canon?!If I was a Gruvia fan,I'd be pissed at how my ship ended up;one of the characters in my ship had to act completely out of character to make this ship canon.And honestly,that alone says a lot about the ship itself,and how badly it's developed,and the huge amount of unhealthiness in it.It's really just sad that Gray had to end up with a woman who's obviously ill.

I am triggered.

2.Mermaid Heel
I bet mashima was like "Oh ok,so there's an all female guild that I don't know what to do with...Oh!Let's make them all models!"Like it's just the fact that Mermaid Heel is all about female empowerment that makes me so mad.Like it seems like he has no respect for women in this arc.

But that's just me.
3.Lucy reaching her dreams
I love that Lucy got to sell her book.It makes me happy that she got to see her dream come true and to see her happy.But let's face it,Fairy Tail ruined that party for her.They couldn't behave for one second.Kind of felt sorry for her.
But I know Lucy will be rolling in dough.
If Lucy's happy,I'm happy.
4.Jerza and Nalu not being canon
Now I know he left it to interpretation,but all I have to say is...

For all the times my friends and I have been ridicules for not liking something,how's it feel now huh?!
But I'm glad he left it open to the fan's interpretation,because what better way to please everyone than to make your ships not confirmed nor denied.

5.The 100 year quest
I'm happy that Team Natsu gets to spend their time together.It gives them a chance to get away from all the drama,and just enjoy themselves.

Honestly I can imagine and slice-of-life-scenario where the whole Team Natsu(NOT JUVIA) is living in a small cottage while they're on a mission and is just having quality times together as one big family without ships or anything.

I might make a fan fiction on it.🤔
Probably not.

Oh well.

But all in all,I love Fairy Tail.I may complain and get angry about it,but through the 1+ year I've been with this manga/anime,I've met many of my friends through this,and I will forever be grateful for the lessons I've been taught,and the things I've learned from this manga.
