"MEN. CAN. BE. SEXUALLY. ASSAULTED. JUST. LIKE. A. WOMAN. CAN."

I'm so tired of seeing people overlook men being sexually assaulted, all because the male figure is supposed to be seen as "strong," and "untouchable".

Bull crap.

I don't care if men are held to a higher standards than women, they are human too, and anything that can happen to a woman can also happen to a man.

A woman can be beaten. A man can be beaten.

A woman can be molested. A man can be molested.

A woman can be raped. And, get this, so can a man.

Now my dear readers, I can hear your gasp of shock, and I know you may be typing,"But–but, men can't be raped. It's not possible."

If you think like that, get off of my profile, and don't contact me ever again.

If you look at the game Dramatical Murder, Alba, the main male character, gets raped.

Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul. It's been proven that while he was being tortured, he was also raped.

And it doesn't apply to just games and anime, there are many cases where men get molested or raped, because unfortunately, it can happen, and it could also have a negative affect on someone's life.

But unfortunately in the media, men are portrayed as someone that women should feel safe by. The media makes it seem as if men can't be kidnapped and saved like a damsel in distress. It is always seems as if men can't get hurt like a woman can, by other men, or even another woman.

On that note, men can get hurt by women too. It is possible that women can abuse men –both physically and mentally–. A woman can sexually assault a man too.

It is sexual assault if one or both parties do not consent. Whether they say "No," or give any other indication of them not liking it or not, it is not consent if they don't want something.

Yes+Yes=Yes

No+Yes=No

No+No=No

And unfortunately, many people don't remember this,and/or choose to ignore it, and it makes me sick.

Just putting this out here for all of you who avoid the topic of men and sexual assault.
