Jace's POV:

"Dad?" I knocked lightly on my parents' door.

"Oomph! Ouch ouch ouch! Softer please! Ouch! Oh, come in son-owww! That hurts!" What the hell is happening in there? Turning the door knob hesitantly, the view of my mum straddling my dad came into view. Well, let's just say that it doesn't seem like a good sight...

"Hi Jace."

"Hi mum...er...what are you doing?" She looked at me weirdly before realisation hit her hard in her face.

"Ohhhh...this? Your dad decided to act hero which resulted him in spraining his back...serves him right." Mum stuck out her tongue childishly at dad making him roll his eyes in defeat as he lies relaxingly under her.

"What did dad do?"

"Well, this is going to be interesting huh dear?" Mum smirks sweetly yet evilly at dad, causing him to let out a deep embarrassing groan, burying his head into a pillow.

Well, this was what happened. Apparently....your dad thought it was funny to fart in my face when I was sleeping so he did so but...karma is a bitch.  He couldn't stand up straight from the squatting position after that! Hahahaha!" Mum burst out laughing like a hyena as she lay on dad's back in her endless laughter. Wow....my family is in a mess...

"Oh...wow. Oh ya,erm... I have something to request..."

"What is it?" Dad asks as mum was still busy laughing her head off.

"Can you...you know...go to my mate's pack and talk with her dad?....About the contract?" Immediately silence filled the room, even mum had stopped laughing.

"No." He said firmly.

"But why?"

"No reason. I don't want to talk to the spawn of satan."

"Dad, please?"

"No Jace."

"But he is still your half-brother. Had you ever thought how you could talk it out with him? You know, to solve the feud?"

"He's right dear. At least take it that you are helping your son. His mate is somehow still the daughter of your half-brother. Imagine how hard the girl's life is when she can't officially be with her mate. Imagine how hard it is for your son. You should know how you went nut shit crazy when I only left you for 10 minutes to go to the toilet. You almost barged into the female toilet! Give them a chance dear. Please?"

"But..my mum is killed by my so called half brother's dad! How do you expect me to meet him as he is one of him?"

"That's the past love. You can't change it. I doubt your half-brother had it soft. He lost his biological mother right after he just saw how she looked like but immediately to have his father to kill her right in front of his own eyes. Imagine how devastated he had felt."

"But-urgh....fine. But just because I want to make Jace's mating life simpler." He sighed deeply before agreeing reluctantly.

"Thanks dad!" I chirped happily and dashed out to tell Ash the news.

Ashley's POV:

'Do you think his dad would agree?'

'Do you think your dad will agree?'

'My dad? Oh shit...I forgot to ask him! Shit!'

'You're so absent-minded.'

'Can't help it. I believe I was dropped when I was a baby.'

'Maybe you were.'

'Oh well, who cares. Talk to you laterrrr.'

'Don't bother. I want to sleep. Don't disturb me.'

'Fine...'

"Daddyyyyy!" I wrap my arms around him tightly like a koala.

"Yes baby girl?"

"You know I love you?"

"Yes...what did you do?" Dammit! Caught red handed.

"Erm...Imayhadarrangedameetingforyouandyourhalfbrother." 

"What?"

"I may had arranged a meeting for you and your half-brother?"

"You what?!" Oopsiee...

"Sorrie..."

"Why did you do that Ash?"

"I-I wanted to solve this thing between you two so...so that I can be with Jace..."

"Oh baby girl, sorry for your pain...Sigh...fine. If he comes, I will talk to him for your sake ok?" Nodding my head eagerly, he let out a low chuckle as he ruffled my hair playfully.

"Thank daddy! Love you." Standing on my tippy toes, I pressed my lips against his spiky stubble and ran back into my room to check for any good news-

Unable to contain it further, I let out a extremely high pitch screech, causing mum and dad to dash into my room, face paling significantly.

"L-let's g-get you mo-moved to the guest room. Ya, we should probably do that..." Mum stuttered as she pushed me out of my bloodstained walled room as dad stayed behind.

"Wh-whaat was t-that?"

"I don't know love, I don't know...could it be...your mate's...father?"

"No. It wouldn't be. He wouldn't do that. I'm sure of it."

"Ok ok. Let's just stay calm and let yo get some sleep. It's already late. We won't want to have dark circles right?" Nodding my head lightly, I followed mum into the guest room, jumping under the covers with eyes tightly shut, hoping for the image to disappear.
