Ashley's POV:

"Where have you been?" 

Shit...busted.

"Hi daddy. How was dinner?" I chirped sweetly at him causing his once furrowed eyebrows to relax a little before scruching up.
" It was good. We had steak with potato wedges. Now....where were you?" Dad asks sternly qhile tapping his fingers against the door frame.Well....I'm not telling you.

"Oh. Rachael wanted to be let out so we went for a run to the waterfall. " I lied smoothly. Well, not really lie cause it is partially true. I did go to the waterfall.

"The whole time?" He questioned suspiciously. I nodded firmly at his question . "For....6 hours?" He looked up from his watch to look at me into my eyes, hoping to see any signs of wavering or hesitant. 

"Yup." He seemed to take in my answer and dismissed me back to my room as he went to do his Alpha duties.

Yup, all the time there but....not alone.😏 Sigh....is wanting to be with my mate so difficult?  Trudging my heavy legs, I entered my room and ripped my clothes off,too lazy to remove them piece by piece nicely.

'You're horrible.' Rachael spoke up at my actions disapprovingly.

'When am I not?' She sighed disappointedly at my reply before walking back into the darkness.

What? I'm pissed off ok.  All I want is to be with my mate like normal mates but no! I can't! And why? Because of the packs bullshit and reluctance to forgive. I mean, both Alpha and Ex Alpha are brothers! Who cares if they are not biological, they still have the same blood flowing in their veins!

I hate this drama and I want it gone! If only I could make the another Alpha change his mind about this stupid agreement....

Stepping into my bathtub, I let myself sink into the cold strawberry bath, relaxing my bones. Others love warm baths but I don't.  It is so hot already outside! I don't want to get a heat stroke ok?

Sorry, sorry. Today is just not my day. Sigh...I wonder how can I convince the other Alpha to sign talk calmly with dad....

Should I ask Jace to....wait! Jace is the Alpha of his pack so this makes the Ex-Alpha his dad! Eureka! That's it! I should ask Jace to talk to his dad to talk to my dad! That's such an awesome idea! Why didn't I think about it before?

Jumping out of the tub excitedly, I stood in front my glass door and- Nooooooo!

I look like a dried up prune! I screamed internally as I looked horrified at my wrinkled up fingers with look like squeezed dried grapes! I'm so ugly....what if Jace doesn't want me after he sees this? Noooo! I'm too innocent to be rejected by Jace.

'Can you just shut up?! You're irritating my ears.' Rachael snapped furiously at my crazy  thinking.

'But... but I look like a prune! Jace will reject me for sure! ' I whined, causing her anger to flare up even more.

'Oh for goddess sake! It's only fucking temporary!  It will go away soon ok?!  So shut the hell up and let me get some rest.'

'It will heal? Wow. That's like magic!'

'Ya Ya, whatever. Dumbass...' She cursed grumpily before retreating.  What crawled up her ass and died? She is never this pissy and short tempered.

Oh well, I just have to talk to Jace about this. Hope this works.

Jace 's POV:

"Jace! Your phone is ringing!" Mum shouted loudly out of no where, causing me to jump up in fear from my beauty sleep.

"Must you, mum?" She nodded cheekily as she handed me my phone, skipping out of my room with a bouce in each step.

Who is it calling me in the middle of my- oh. Pressing on the accept call button, her melodic voice flowed in, soothing my ears from my mum's sudden craziness. Shhh...don't tell her I said that.

J: Hello?

A: Jace? Is that you?

J: Nope. I'm his father.

A: Oh...can you pass the phone to him?

J:Erm...I don't think he has time for talking now.

A: How come?

J: Oh, he's you know...erhem erhem in the next room with some blonde girl.

A: Oh. I see then. Just help me pass him this message that I had just lost my virginity to a lad down the cafe.

J:WHAT?! WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!

A:Hahahaha! Got ya! You think you can trick me Jace? Your acting is horrible. Oh my god, I can't believe you actually believed that. Haha!

Oh my goodness gracious goddess of almighty!  She said she loves me! Oh my, I going to scream! Ahhhhh! This is insane!
