"We finally meet again, sister."

"True...you are also too weak to be my sister."

"You!" Just before I can launch at her, Federick held onto my wrist firmly, not letting me go.

"Me? What about me? I'm more powerful? Stronger? Wiser than you? Well, I know that." She smirks as she knew how mad she's making me.

"Aww...you lost the urge to pounce on me once your mutt touches you? How pathetic. "

"Shit up you bitch! No one calls my mate a mutt and gets away with it!" Tugging my hand away from him, I jumped at her but instead of launching forward, I flew into a warm embrace.

"No Claudia. Save your strength for later. She's doing this on purpose. " He says softly as we gaze into her evil and sly soul.

"Fine...can't we just talk it out?"

'Try stalling more time. Some have yet to get into safety.'

'Okay but hurry.'

"Talk? You know I don't do talking, sister."

"Please Cynthia. Just drop this. We don't need all these innocent lives to die." My eyes glazed over as I stared at all the pack members from all the packs, along with the Alphas and Lunas.
"And why should I care about them? They are useless and worthless."

"They are all precious lives like yours. Also, if you kill us, who will you rule over?"

'Arrogant...' Ricky sent through our mindlink as he rolled his eyes, annoyed.

"Oh shut up." She snapped as she turned back slightly to her hideous army with a slight smirk.

Oh goddess in heaven, please help us. The look on her face just spells trouble.

"ATTACK!!!" Immediately, chaos broke out.

Jace's POV:

'Stick close to me, okay?'

'I love you too.' Her eyes glazed over as a stray tear flowed down her rosy cheek. I just want to wipe her tears away and tell her that everything is alright but I can't lie to her...

"ATTACK!!!" Immediately after she screeched, all of us shifted and took down what seems like wolves on steroids.

Launching at two bulky looking wolves, the tried to latch their jaws into my skin but being smaller than them, I can easily dodge their attack, causing them to bite each other instead. Big but stupid and clumsy. What's the point. Aiming for their necks, I bit down on one mercilessly as another pounced above us. Fuck. He is so heavy! Get off me whale! Ending the life of the one below me, I turned around and immediately snapped his neck, his lifeless body falling to the battleground.

'Jace!' Ashley!

'Where are you?!'

'Tree. Behind the packhouse! There's are freaking bloodsucking leaches here. Those bloody vamps!'

'Shit. I'm reaching soon. Wait up.'

Focusing my sight in front of me, I clawed my way through, ripping any heads off or hearts out of those horrible looking creatures that stood in my way.

Reaching the clearing, I spotted Ash surrounded by 6 leaches as 5 launched one by one at her, 1 laying unmoving near them. Wasting no time, I pounced on 2 of them in one go, immediately ripping them into shreds, not forgetting to stake their hearts. 2 down, 3 to go...wait, make it 2. Ashley gave me a wolfy grin as she took down one successfully, leaving one for us each.

'Shall we?'

'Hell yeah. Bring it on!'

Pouncing forward in union, they prepared to vanish but were too late when our claws pierced through their skin and flesh,their cries of pain exciting us, pushing us to complete our task with a stake through. Done.

Glancing at Ashley,she stared blankly as the bursts of colours a far, knowing that the witches are fighting there, including...mum...

'Jace? '

'I'm afraid.' Looking towards her direction, I know why she was afraid. Wolves from our pack are falling like flies. They are winning...no...this can't be happening. We must help them.

'Let's go help them.'

'Yes- Arghhh!'

'Ashley! What's wrong?!' Rushing to her side, I checked for injuries but she just whimpered painfully though there are no wounds that are that serious to cause her that much pain unless...

'It's-it's alright.I-I..I'm going to fucking kill them all!' Her eyes flashed red as she launched mercilessly at whoever that crossed her path. Shit. She's going to get herself killed at this rate.

'Alpha Scott!'

'Yes...' Lifeless...that's how he sounded like. Dead and soulless. I'm sorry for his loss but now we have to stop Ash first.

'Ashley is going nuts!'

Pushing her along, we ran for the hills as a roar rang out. A roar of anger and sadness.Shifting back into our human forms, I threw her over my shoulder as I made a dash for the hills.

"Jace? Jace. Jace! "

'What?"

"Let me down." She struggled as she kicked her legs.

"No."

"I say let me down! We won't make it at all!"

"Yes we can!"

"No we can't! Just-just put me down. " Staring at the far hills which seemed extremely tiny I knew she was right.

"What do we do now?" The sounds of clashing and howls due to the lost of love ones still filled the air as I look at her scared form.

"I don't know...I never felt so helpless and scared before. I'm scared Jace." She whimpers as she stared fearfully at a far.

"Look at me."

"Huh?"

"Just focus on me and nothing else okay?"

'O-Okay..."

"I love you Ashley. Forever and ever."

Leaning down, our lips locked together as fireworks exploded. It's only me and Ashley now. Nothing will break our love. Still locked lips with her, I sent her what seems like our final words.

'I love you Ashley.'
