'What...what are the chances of us winning tomorrow?'

"Beautiful... " I stare at the sunset in awe as I lay comfortably on the grass with my head resting on Jace's lap.

"Ashley?"

"Yeah?" I gaze into his mesmerizing eyes which fueled with adoration and nervousness.

"What's wrong?" Did I do something wrong?

"No you didn't. You didn't do anything wrong."

"Then what is it? Why do I sense nervousness in you?" I look at him puzzled at what he was feeling. Did he cheat?

"No! I'll never cheat on you!" Wait...how did he know what I was thinking....Oh right, mind link. I forgot.

"Then what is it?" He took a deep breath in and let it out slowly as if calming his nerves. Okay...now he's scaring me. What is going on? Did something bad happened?

"You might want to get up first, love." Getting up warily, he kneeled down in front of me as he held my hand ever so softly. Shit...he is so going to break something big and bad to me. I never seen him so nervous and hesitant before.

Jace's POV:

Staring straight into her eyes, a rush of determination filled me whole.

"Ashley, I know that ever since we met, our whole lives are filled with drama and more drama. First was the stupid deal or grandparents made and now is the upcoming war.

I have no idea whether I'll live to see you again or if I'll ever get the chance to say that meeting you is the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm glad and over the moon to find out that I have such a wonderful and everything I can ever ask for as my mate.

You just make my whole world shine and light up my life in all ways possible. I love you so much that I can't live without you by my side. I treasure every moment spent with you and I wish and want to create more with you.

Although we are mates, I'm still going to say this. Will you carry on this journey with me and be my girlfriend?"

Spilling practically my whole soul to her, I held out the velvet box out to her and opened it. Staring at it in blankly, tears started to appear in her eyes as she nodded repeatedly. Yes! Yes! Woohoooo! She said yes!

Jumping to my feet, I helped her to slide the promise ring onto her finger. This, will be a sign of our never ending love.

"I love you Ashley."

"Thank you and I love you too Jace. " Standing under the beautiful rays of the sunset with my lover in my arms, I couldn't think what is more perfect than this current moment.

I love her more than anything else in the world. And I swear that I'll go wherever she goes. She is my mate, my love, my life and I will never ever think of even parting away from her.

Caleb's POV:

(He is the unknown one if y'all forgot.)

"Justin!" Fucking asshole. Where the hell is he? 5 minutes have passed but he's still have yet to appear or show his sorry ass. I'm going to kill him.

"How are they progressing?" I asked, ignoring his apologizes. He's not worth my time.

"Sir, they are more powerful than us. It's hard to win them." He cried out in dismay.

"We are! But they seem to know everything we do or everything we want to do!" Blah blah blah. Excuses excuses and more excuses. Think that I'll let them crawl over my head? Fat hope.

"Then do others. I'm not going to let that witch laugh at me for you guys being so pathetic."

"Yes Sir?" They chorused as they appeared within seconds unlike that pathetic fool.

"Take this and give everyone a drop of the substance. Make sure they don't lose to those creatures after that or send them to me."

"Yes Sir!" Taking the bottle, they rushed out immediately and obediently.

"Justin, did I say you can go?" He turned around slowly, shaking his head.

"Come here." Walking towards me slowly, I smirked at his fear that becomes greater and greater by each step he took.

"Ron, Tow, execute him."

"Yes Sir."

"What?! No! Spare me Sir! Sir! Sirrr!" His screaming soon became distant as they dragged his useless self away. Finally. I was waiting for this day to happen so much.
