Claudia's POV:

'Cynthia.'

'Oh hi sister.'

'Can't you drop the attack?'

'Of course....not. Do you think that I'll drop it?'

'Possibly?'

'Ya, in your dreams maybe. If you're planning to continue talking crap, then bye. I don't have time for your bullshit. We'll meet again soon sister. Watch out as that will be the last time you get to see me.' 

Urghhh...Sometimes I wonder how is it even possible that she is my twin sister. She is soooo think headed and stupid!

"Ricky, how is the pack doing? I hope their prepared."

"They are working well thus far but...I don't know if it is good enough to fight against other creatures." He murmurs unconfidently as he sighed deeply in worry.

"Other than werewolves and witches working together, I believe there are trolls, goblins and other mystical creatures."

"She told you so?" Does he seriously think so? Who in the right mind will even tell their enemies their army? 

"No. She had them as allies the last time she attacked the witches so I think that she might just recruit the same army again."

"Oh...do you know if goblins and trolls, etc have any weak spots?"

"No. Just aim for the head. Anywhere else, the one attacking is dead."

"Ouch. That bad huh...okay. I'll inform the rest while you-"

"I know what to do. Just faster inform everyone else. We must reduce the deaths to the minimum."

"On my way your Highness." He bows with raised eyebrows.

"Thank you my King...now off you go!" Smacking his perfectly shaped ass, he yelped in shock before shooting me a deadly playful glare which means 'How dare you touch my precious ass?' 

Winking at him, I walked off to find my ladies and those who I have to address to.

"As you all know, the war is in a week's time so during the war, all of you will hide in the caves near the mountains until its safe."

"But how about you Luna?"

"I'll fight with them of course."

"NO. You will stay with them." Urgh...seriously?

"Alpha." Everyone chorused as Rick stomped in abruptly. 

"Why are you here?"

"To stop you and your crazy thoughts. You are not fighting and that's final."

"But I'm the pack's Luna!"

"Yes! That's why I need you to stay with them and to protect them is anything happens. You are their Luna so you have to protect those who can't protect themselves. You get that?" He speaks ever so sensibly and warmly. He's right. I have to protect the rest of my pack. I can't let them die if there is a surprise attack.

"Alright. I'll stay with them."

"That's my girl." He smiles warmly as tears formed at the corner of his eyes.

"I love you."

"Love you too my love." Saying that, he wrapped his arms around me like my own safe heaven as I took in deep breaths of his minty and refreshing scent. I'll miss this smell no matter what.

"Okay dear, you don't want your ladies to be tearing up right? Because I feel that if we remain like this any longer, they are going to burst." He chuckles lightly as I stared at the crowd below us who are all trying to keep in their waterworks. 

"I'll see you later love."

"Same here."

Ashley's POV:

"Hi Mum! Hi Dad! I'm baaaack!"

"My baby is finally back! How was the date?"

"It was awesome!"

"I knew it!" Mum chirped ecstatically as she cheers on the spot. 

"I bet..." Dad however....grumbled annoyingly.

"Why are you mad Dad? Did I do something wrong?"

"Oh don't bother about your Dad, honey. He just can't accept that his baby girl has grown up."

"Awww Daddy. I'll still be your baby girl no matter what. Right mum?" 

"Of course darling. You will always and forever be our precious little baby girl. Oh ya, by the way, when am I going to have grandpups?" Mum asks eagerly as her eyes shone with excitement.

"Mummmm....." Must she say so openly? This is so embarrassing...

"Oh please, you don't need to be shy. We already know that you are officially mated to Jace." Mum smirks, causing me to blush deeply.

"Dadddddd! Help meeeee!"

"Nah. This is your business and only you can settle it." Humphh...fine.

"Sorry Mum, got to go! Jace's....calling me? Yeah, my phone is vibrating you see. I need to pick it up so....later!" With that, I dashed upstairs to my room and locked the door. Finally! I'm free from interrogation! Bless my soul, I almost died down there. 

I still couldn't believe that me and Jace are officially mated. This is like a freaking dream come true! Tracing my finger over his mark, I can still remember when he sank his fangs into me so passionately and lovingly and how he treated me like a queen as we made love together under the light that showers over us and under the romantic night sky. 

Those times are just perfect. But now...we all have to face reality. Whether we can continue these sweet moments together, it all comes down to us and to fate. I just pray that fate is not too cruel to us.
