Merla awake from her sleep and she let out a yawn. She got up and walked to the waterfall and put her feet in the water. Merla felt better than yesterday after everything that happened. She walked around the woods and nothing was new or fun around. She left the woods and walked around the area seeing other people and seeing lots of lights.

Merla went and sat on a bench feeling relaxed. She felt that her daughter was safe and doing well. She just had the feeling of safety. She walked back to the woods and saw James and Jess come back home. Merla felt that Katy was near and she smiled before going back to the woods.

Merla made it where the woods could help Katy where the pain she felt wouldn't be around. She could be a normal and happy girl without an illness. She started to feel weak and the magic she had for the woods started to fade away slowly. Merla's time on earth was almost up and she couldn't leave Katy again. Merla rubbed her eyes and everything was blurry. After she sat down she felt fine.

Merla turned into a raven and flew around the woods. Everything was pretty from a bird's point of view. Merla saw families laughing and other people helping others. On the other hand, Merla saw people being rude and cruel to other people. It broke Merla's heart to see people get treated so badly. Most people didn't do anything wrong and get blamed for stupid reasons. Merla signed and few back to the woods.

Merla was getting weaker and weaker. Her time was almost out and she couldn't be on earth any longer. She got back to the woods and then she landed on a tree branch and heard a twig snap. She hear someone coughing badly and saw a girl walking under the tree she was sitting on. The girl sat down on the old tree log and it was Katy. She came back to the woods and Merla smiled and was glad to see her daughter all right.

"Merla, are you here?" Katy raised her voice a little.
