The car came to a halt in the parking lot as the engine stopped making noises while Taehyung took his and Jennie's seat belt off. The area was mostly empty as it was still early in the morning so it was easy for both of them to be away from the eyes of other cadets and Commanders.

The break had already ended in the blink of an eye, Somi and Juda had also arrived back at the training camps last night and now Jennie knew what was coming for her. Bombardment of questions and teases.

Taehyung was dressed in his formal uniform as his hairs were styled back neatly so they wouldn't cover his eyes, as usual he looked good but there was something different about him when he was dressed like this. He seemed even more attractive in her eyes.

“When do I get to see you again?” - Spoke Taehyung making Jennie chuckle as she patted his cheek.

“At night when no one is awake.” - He smiled and leaned closer to her as he placed a quick kiss to her lips, he parted away before possibly losing his control and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear as he deeply stared at her.

“Don't look at me like that.” - She whined and placed her hands on his eyes but he grabbed them and kissed each of her palm before leaning back into his seat.

“Go to your dorm first, it's still early so get some sleep before training time.” - Jennie nodded and opened the door as she hopped out of the car.

She walked towards the back of the car and opened the trunk as she took her suitcase out before closing it again, she walked back to the front and stopped at the driver side window before leaning in and kissing Taehyung's cheek. He kissed her cheek back and watched as she walked away while waving her hand, a smile spread across her lips.

She reached back at her dorm and unlocked the door as she slowly poked her head through the door and spotted both of the girls using their phones in their beds, completely unaware of her arrival while she opened the door wider and walked inside.

“Hey!!” - The sudden loud voice made both of them flinch as Juda shrieked out of surprise, watching her friend giggling as she stood with her suitcase at the doorstep.

“Damn girl what the fuck!” - Juda cursed, climbing out of her bed and opening her arms for a hug.

“I missed that cute mandu face.” - She hugged Jennie as Somi joined in short after for a group hug.

“How's our love bird hmm~” - Somi poked her finger in Jennie's cheek while Jennie stood with one arm around Juda's shoulder and the other around Somi's, the silly smile on her telling both of them that she had an amazing week.

“Quite good actually.” - She replied and took her arms back as she sat down on one of the bean bags.

“Tell us some stories now! What did you two do the entire week? Did you go on dates? Any romantic moments? Well of course there was— did he say I love you?!” - Juda spoke in one breath before sitting down in front of Jennie as she waited for her to speak. Somi also sat down.

“Relax, I'll tell you one by one. We did go on a few dates, like long drives, shopping, movie dates and some typical restaurant ones. My favorite was definitely the long drives.” - She said and stopped while Juda passed her a look, knowing there were much more details she was hiding.

“Well.. he kind of introduced me to his parents. It wasn't like the sweet first meeting or anything like that, but more like an argument.” - Somi exchanged a look of surprise with Juda as she tilted her head in confusion.

“Why? Did they not like you?” - She shook her head and sighed, fiddling with her fingers as she hesitated before speaking.

“He's forced into an engagement with another girl. He took off that ring but when he told this to his parents and said he was dating me, they got furious and walked out. It's kind of hard on him because his parents never showed him any affection, he grew up with his grandmother.” - The shock on their faces was evident as the blonde haired girl scoffed.

“Seriously? That's messed up. Was that the reason he hesitated in confessing to you?” - She nodded and pressed her lips together.

“He.. did say I love you, though. I know he does even if he didn't say it, It shows in his actions. He looks at me like he could stare at me forever and never get bored.” - A small shy smile appeared on her face as she fidgeted with her fingers making Juda and Somi dramatically kick the air.

“Oh my God- so cute!” - Somi squealed making Jennie embarrassed as she slapped her arm and hid her face in her legs.

“Okay okay—” - Juda was cut off when the speakers of the corridor rang, grabbing the attention of everyone as the cadets gathered around the doors of their dorms to listen to the announcement that was going to be made.

Somi, Juda and Jennie also stood up hurriedly and went outside being curious.

“Damn, that thing is still so loud.” - The blonde chuckled and went quiet afterwards as the announcement started.

“Good morning cadets, I hope you all are doing well after spending some quality time with your family and friends. Now, all of us are back and are ready to start our regular routine of training and classes. I expect all of you, GCs and LCs, to cooperate with your commanders attentively and actively so that we end our training with some achievements.” - There was a long pause as the girls waited for the announcer to continue, knowing this probably wasn't the main part.

“For this week's training we'll start off with something new and fun to do, something a lot of cadets like. We'll be going for a 3 day forest camp close to the borderline of North Korea and South Korea. This camping trip is meant to teach you about all the dangers of the wild and what it's really like to fight the enemies without getting hurt or lost. We expect brilliant results from each of you, so pack your essentials and get ready to start this 3 day long adventure. Gather at the training grounds at 9 AM with your bags, thank you.” - Their eyes shined as they had widened by the time the speakers turned off.

A look of pure excitement was evident on their faces as they looked at each other and did  their signature high-five. The thought of going on a camping trip seemed much more interesting than staying in one place and doing the same training everyday.

“This is gonna be so fun!”
