•✧ JENNIE'S POV ✧•
"So, you live in a hostel but you come here to spend vacations with Taehyung?" - Haerim nodded with a big smile on her face, confirming everything Jennie had stated.
"My parents aren't here, and after them I'm closest to Taehyung oppa. He's the best cousin I have, that's why." - The brunette nodded in understanding, the bubbly teen in front of her was looking at her with curious eyes and that made her chuckle.
"If you know about me then you should also know about my family, right?" - She shook her head in denial.
"Not really. I wanted to know it from you in person." - She explained, before Jennie could speak again Taehyung entered the room with two mugs of hot chocolate occupying his hands.
"Okay ladies, here's some special hot chocolate." - Both of the girls smiled and took the mugs from his hand as he sat beside Jennie afterwards.
"So? What are we talking about?" - Haerim raised her eyebrows, throwing a questioning look at her cousin.
"Its 'girls' talk and you're absolutely not a girl from any angle to me." - He chuckled and pinched her cheek making her frown as she slapped his hand away.
"Okay girl boss, now go do some homework. We'll be downstairs preparing for dinner while you do so." - She nodded and stood up immediately, stopping by the door to say something as she turned around again.
"Can we go shopping tomorrow? I need some new stuff and we could hangout you know." - Jennie shifted her eyes towards Taehyung to look for an answer, finding the idea quite nice as she could finally go to public places after staying in one place for months.
"Alright but you will have to wake up early. It gets colder at night so we need to be back before evening. Understood?" - She jokingly saluted and stomped her leg like a soldier making the older ones chuckle at her childishness.
"Yes, sir!" - She waved and ran out of the door while Taehyung turned towards the brunette beside him with a smile on his lips.
"Is it good?" - She nodded before raking a sip again.
"It's very good, you didn't make one for yourself?" - He sneaked his hand closer to hers and softly caressed it before taking it in his hold.
"I prefer tea, hot chocolate is for the girls. Especially my girl." - His attempt to make her blush succeeded as her cheeks became red, her ears giving in as well making him smile at how easily his words affected her.
"I might kiss you if you're gonna blush like that every time I call you mine, sweetheart." - She leaned back onto his shoulder with a silly smile on her face, the smile itself told him how much she loved it when he talked to her like this.
A sigh escaped through his lips as he placed a soft peck to her temple. The way every little thing Jennie's father had told him about his daughter matched her actual personality was absolutely adorable. Taehyung knew her father loved her more than anything in this world, and now he was sure why he was always worried about her even when she was living a good life. The girl in his arms was extremely fragile, someone to be cherished and loved.
"What are you thinking?" - Her soft voice reached his ears as he smiled and shook his head.
"Nothing. Shall we prepare for dinner?" - He felt her nod before she parted away from him and stood up from the bed.
"Let's go."

The rich aroma of freshly cooked food encircled the kitchen's air as Jennie stood by the stove with a spatula in her hand, her focus completely devoted to the sizzling beef in the pan in front of her while Taehyung stood there watching her every move. He had originally wanted to be the one making dinner but upon Jennie's continuous pleading he gave her the lead. Now the stubborn girl wouldn't even let him touch a single cooking utensil because she wanted him to have a taste of food that was entirely cooked by his girlfriend.
"Are you sure you don't want any help?" - Taehyung asked again, followed by a groan from the brunette as she turned around with a threatening look in her eyes.
"This is the last time I'm telling you, NO!" - He chuckled at her determination and finally gave up, deciding to not disturb her anymore but obviously he failed.
His steps took him closer to her as he slowly back-hugged her which she surprisingly didn't mind. It was okay until he snuggled in the back of her neck making her squirm in his hold, followed by a loud giggle that escaped her mouth when he started leaving wet kisses on her soft skin.
"H-hey! Taeee!! Stop that!" - She whined but he didn't stop, pretty obviously enjoying whatever he was doing.
"Can you please do that later when I'm not cooking?? You're distracting me." - He kissed her neck one last time before finally pulling away as he kept his chin on her shoulder.
"Later?" - He smirked, the intentions in his voice as clear as day.
"Fine, later." - He chuckled and stepped away, turning her around for a brief moment as he placed their lips together for a short kiss.
"Now go and sit down. You're being annoying." - She spoke when he pulled away, trying to act annoyed but the smile threatening to break out on her lips said otherwise.
"Sure, kitten." - His voice turned a little deeper as he intentionally whispered in her ear. The husky tone of his voice made her weak in the knees but she successfully ignored it. Turning her attention back to the food.
