"Sit in the car I'll be back after locking the doors." - Taehyung spoke as he closed the trunk of the car and turned towards Jennie, who was standing beside him with a small smile on her face.

"Sure." - She stepped towards the front door of the car as she sat inside the passenger seat and waited for him to come back.

Jennie was excited yet a little nervous since she wasn't used to staying at other's houses, she didn't have any friends nor did she ever have a boyfriend so everything was quite new to her, but she couldn't deny the fact that she was pretty overjoyed about the quality time she would be able to spend with him.

A soft sigh escaped her mouth, her eyes diverted outside as she noticed the weather was changing. It seemed like it would either rain or snow, it was almost December already so winter was on its peak.

Without her noticing Taehyung came back and opened the driving-seat door, he sat inside making Jennie turn towards him as she fixed her dress and fastened the seatbelt while he did the same. He turned the car's engine on and glanced at Jennie who was looking outside the windshield while fiddling with her fingers out of nervousness.

He quietly placed his hand on top of hers as he took her tiny palm and locked his fingers with her, without saying anything he kissed the back of her hand as she stared at him with a beautiful smile on her face. The smile that made her eyes become small, the smile that only he could bring out on her lips.

"Shall we go?" - He asked, earning a nod in return as he let go of her hand to pull the gear before he drove off.

The ride was silent, Taehyung was focused on driving while keeping his hand on her exposed leg and Jennie had her head leaned onto the window. She was tired and was fighting the urge to fall asleep as her eyelids were getting heavier.

"You should take a nap, the ride is gonna be quite long." - He spoke, noticing how tired she was looking.

"Wouldn't you get bored?" - He chuckled while shaking his head.

"Of course not. You're beside me and that's enough." - She exhaled heavily and finally closed her eyelids, taking not even a minute to fall asleep as he smiled upon seeing her adorable sleepy face.

"Sleep well."

The car came to a stop as the signal in front of them turned red, his orbs shifted towards her as she started moving and suddenly opened her eyes. It had been only 20 minutes since she fell asleep.

"What's wrong, love?" - She groaned in response as she massaged her neck, it had started paining because of the uncomfortable sleeping posture.

"Owh, my neck-" - He chuckled and extended his arm towards her as he gently rubbed the back of her neck, easing the pain as she threw her head down to let him massage it.

"Better?" - She hummed in response and sat up straight as she grabbed his hand and placed it on her thigh again.

"How far do you live, Tae?" - She asked, he tapped his fingers on the steering wheel as he answered.

"About an hour and a half away from the Military base. We still have an hour to reach home, that's why I told you to sleep." - She nodded and stretched herself while Taehyung started driving again when the signal turned green.

"Do you want to eat something?" - He broke the silence again making Jennie look at him.

"Something sweet." - He nodded, turning the car as he stopped right in front of a bakery.

"I want chocolate milkshake and waffles!" - She spoke again as he patted her head, finding her adorable as he unlocked his seatbelt.

"Sure, be right back." - She nodded and watched him leave the car as another sigh escaped her mouth, she sunk down in her seat and took her phone out of her handbag.

"How I wish I had mom's number." - She unconsciously pouted and just opened instagram to scroll on the feed.

Suddenly a random thought entered her mind as she playfully licked her lips and pressed the search bar of the explore page, immediately typing in his name as she hoped to find his account. But obviously he wouldn't just put his name as the username, she needed to try something more unique.

"Taehyung Kim.. thk??" - She typed the random name only to stop at 'th' as she spotted a familiar man in one of the profile pictures.

"thv?" - She opened the account and her eyes immediately lit up when she caught a glimpse of his picture in the posts.

"Bingo!" - She exclaimed, turning all smiley as she sat up in her seat and scrolled through his posts. Liking every single one as she couldn't stop smiling at all the goofy and even aesthetic pictures he had posted.

He had all sorts of pictures in his account, from gym pictures in which he was flexing his well-built body to his morning selfies in which he looked attractive as hell. Girls were drooling all over him in the comment section making Jennie roll her eyes as she poked her cheek with her tongue, she was getting annoyed by the comments but then she suddenly smirked.

"Keep dreaming losers, he's already mine." - She giggled at her own stupid thoughts as a blush creeped onto her cheeks, thinking about all the beautiful moments she had with him.

"Oh! His birthday?" - She exclaimed, examining his birthday post of last year as he was wearing a Military uniform in it.

"The post was made on New year's Eve. Then his birthday is on 30th December?" - The door of the car opened all of a sudden as Jennie immediately put her phone away making Taehyung confused.

"What are you doing?" - He asked but Jennie just shook her head.

"Nothing! Just scrolling instagram." - He raised his eyebrow, unsure of her reaction when he opened the car door.

"Stalking me?" - Her eyes widened while he smirked upon getting confirmation from just her surprised face.

"Guess you found my account. What's yours?" - He handed the milkshake and box of waffles to her and placed his coffee in the cup holder as he took his phone out.

"Jennierubyjane. I liked your posts you can probably see it." - She cheekily smiled making him shake his head at how easily she surrendered.

"Is that your English name?" - She nodded, turning her phone on again as she debated whether she should ask him his actual birthday or not.

"Tae, what's your birth date?" - He looked up at her and smiled.

"30th December 1995. Yours is 16th of January 2000." - She tilted her head, how did he know her exact birthdate?

"I checked your profile. The one you submitted to the counter for your dorm." - She chuckled softly, she should've guessed it right away.

"That's clever. By the way, your birthday is around the corner. Will you celebrate it?" - He shook his head, denying.

"Probably not. Last year, our head Commander surprised me with a cake. I never celebrate on my own will." - She bit her lip and turned her body completely towards him before she spoke.

"Well.. will you celebrate it for me then?" - He diverted his eyes towards her again, maintaining eye contact for a few seconds before he closed his eyes and nodded bringing her brightest smile out again.

"But don't buy me any gifts. I don't want you to spend your money on random stuff." - Her smile immediately dropped as she scoffed.

"Random stuff? Your birthday isn't random. And it's my money it shouldn't concern you alright?" - She angrily sat back in her seat and sipped her milkshake making him sigh, she was too stubborn to handle.

"There's nothing to be angry about, little one. I just don't like when someone wastes their money on me." - Jennie glared at him again as he pressed his lips together, realizing how provoking his words were.

"Okay sorry. You can buy whatever you want, just not too expensive."
