"Come in." - A loud voice was heard, strictness visible in his tone as Taehyung opened the door and entered before saluting to his senior.

"Oh, Commander Kim Taehyung. What brings you here?" - The Sergeant major asked, watching him step closer as he opened his mouth to explain his sudden appearance.

"Sorry to disturb you Sergeant Ahn, the thing is that a female cadet from my group is refusing to head back home. She wants to stay here at the dormitory as she claims she doesn't have a place to spend the week at." - His eyes darted up from the papers as he stared at Taehyung, surprised by the sudden problem.

"Name?" - He asked, wanting to confirm whom exactly he was talking about.

"LC Jennie Kim. Daughter of late Commander Kim Daehyun." - Just at the mention of her father's name his lips formed a proud smile.

"I never knew his daughter came for training this year. Could you call her here?" - Taehyung nodded, turning around as he stepped out of the office. His eyes immediately landing on her small figure leaned against the wall as she came along with him.

"Come on." - She sighed, slightly pouting making him smile. She walked behind him as he went back inside.

Taehyung stepped aside, letting the Sergeant major see Jennie as she bowed in respect before fixing her posture and stood straight. Her eyes immediately recognized the man in front of her, another good friend of her father but he wasn't too close with him so she doubted he had seen her before. But who knows? Maybe he showed her pictures to everyone too just like how he told the littlest information and habit of hers to Taehyung.

"You look exactly like how your father described you. Take a seat." - Jennie hesitantly shook her head, her eyes glancing at him from time to time as she tried to look for answers but he didn't budge. Wanting her to speak for herself.

"No sir, I'm good. I just have a simple request and that is to let me stay here for the week, if possible." - She explained her side, earning a nod in return as Sergeant Ahn glanced at Taehyung. Silence took over the room for a few seconds before he broke it again.

"You already know that you can't stay here so I'll give you another option instead." - Jennie stared at him confusedly before realization hit her. All of the Military men indeed had the same thinking.

"You can go with Commander Kim Taehyung. It's just a week and besides he lives alone, he's very trustworthy and I don't think he has any objection against it as well, right Kim?" - He earned a nod from Taehyung as Jennie's eyes lit up upon hearing his suggestion.

"Uh.. I really don't want to disturb anyone because of me. But I don't have any other options so I'll have to say yes, Commander Kim hopefully doesn't mind." - She twisted her answer, trying to not make it visible that she was nervous about staying with him while he cleared his throat to hold back his smile.

"I have no problem with you staying with me, Miss. You don't have to worry." - He emphasized the word 'me' making Jennie gulp at the thoughts of them living together, alone under one roof. He couldn't stand a minute without touching her so what was she supposed to think of when hearing the word 'alone' ?

"Alright then. Go and pack, both of you. You're the only ones left here so let's get back home soon and rest. LC Jennie, I'm giving you the task of taking care of him as he doesn't listen to me anymore. Make sure he comes back all healed." - He glared at Taehyung making him suppress a smile as he lowered his head, their bond was really strong and Sergeant Ahn was like an older brother to him.

"Sure, sir. Have a good week ahead." - She bowed while he saluted and they both left his office together.

A deep sigh escaped Jennie's mouth as soon as she stepped outside making the man beside her chuckle as he embraced her small waist and pressed a gentle peck on her forehead. Her cheeks turned light pink as she felt his warm lips on top of her skin, it sent a wave of relief down her body and her tensed muscles loosened up.

"All I do is kiss you and your body relaxes on it's own. I feel proud." - She shook her head upon hearing him throw his cheesy lines at her. It had become his habit now, he made her cringe yet feel better with his words.

"How many times have I told you not to be cheesy?" - He smirked, cupping both of her cheeks with one hand as it made her puffed face squished.

"It still makes you blush though?" - He teased, earning a pout from her when he let her face go.

"That hurt." - She acted while massaging her cheeks making him sigh as he suddenly picked her up on his shoulder making her gasp.

"Yah- put me down!" - She whined whilst lightly hitting his back with her small hands but he didn't feel anything because of her feather light actions.

"No." - He simply denied, continuing to carry her to the dormitory.

"Are you just gonna watch me pack?" - Jennie spoke, eyeing him from the corner of her eyes as he was leaning on the doorframe and watching her pack her things.

"Maybe." - He chuckled when her lips formed a slight pout.

Jennie continued to place her things inside the suitcase as she emptied half of her closet, she was only taking her newest clothes with her that were still in a good condition. She hadn't done shopping for herself in a while because of her limited savings. How much could she possibly make from working at a cafe?

After zipping her bag she placed it on the ground and was about to close the small wardrobe when her eyes fell on the envelope kept inside. She sighed before taking it in her hand, she unconsciously bit her lip as she was wondering about using the money to buy new clothes. At last, the money was hers now and she couldn't waste it. And she did need new addition to her wardrobe.

"Hurry up, baby. We need to leave soon." - She snapped out of her thoughts when he spoke to her, her cheeks turning slightly pinkish at the way he called her with a new nickname.

She quickly flashed a smile to him, she suddenly became shy and he didn't fail to notice it as he stared at her with adoration. She was someone completely opposite of his personality, someone that made him smile effortlessly and at times he couldn't understand why he was so in love with her. It wasn't like he didn't like his feelings towards her, he loved it. He loved the fact that someone was able to break his ice after many years. He was now finding himself stupid for being so disappointed in that single rejection that he never tried to fall in love again. But these things came naturally so he wasn't entirely stupid. After all, he was glad she was the one he fell for and not someone who's after looks and money. He never really asked Jennie about why she loved him, and he didn't find it appropriate to ask since he still hadn't admit to her feelings like how she did in the most beautiful and adorable way, everything she did was admirable.

"Done! How about we both take a quick shower and change before leaving? You're still in your Military uniform." - Her innocent question made Taehyung smirk as he raised an eyebrow, instantly making her realize his reflex.

"Together?" - He spoke making her choke on air as she immediately shook her head.

"No! I meant separately. You shower in your bathroom and I shower in mine." - He shrugged his shoulders, stepping closer to her as she stepped back until her legs came in contact with the desk and she couldn't back away any further.

He walked closer and closer to her before stopping right in front of her as he placed his arms on both sides, trapping her between them while he leaned closer to face making their bodies touch. He felt a wave of shiver running down her body, they both could feel each other's heartbeat as the rhythm of their hearts became one. It felt like they were connected now as he stared deeply into her honey-kissed orbs while she stared back into his chocolate ones.

"I won't do anything I promise." - Confusion took over her as she slightly tilted her head, not understanding what he meant until it finally hit her and her cheeks became red again.

"How can I believe you?" - He chuckled upon hearing her response, so she was afraid he would do it again with her but he knew his limits too.

"I know my limits, love. We still have the entire week ahead to spend together." - She chuckled shyly and shook her head, not believing the way he thinks.

"Only because you asked nicely." - He grinned widely and nodded, quickly placing a peck on her lips as he parted away. Letting her get her clothes before they went over to his place.
