"Go back to your dorm kid, let me talk to him first." - The commander spoke making Jennie immediately bow but before she could leave, he grabbed her hand making her almost stumble.

"She's not going anywhere. She just came." - He calmly said making her eyes widen while he glared at Taehyung.

"I know you're brave and bold but we need to talk about this, alone." - He replied, taking glances at the girl standing there not knowing what to do while Taehyung rolled his eyes, she was getting surprised by his behavior.

"Go back and don't forget to come again soon." - He looked at her while speaking and slowly let go of her hand as she showed a small smile and nodded her head.

Her gaze drifted towards the man that stood there looking away, probably waiting for her to leave so she walked away leaving them alone. She didn't want to leave this soon but also had no other choice.

•✧ TAEHYUNG'S POV ✧•

As soon as Jennie left, the Commander came and sat on the chair beside Taehyung's bed. He knew what he was gonna say.

"I know about the rules, but I don't care." - He talked straight to the point making the man sigh.

"You're bringing trouble upon yourself and her too. Just wait for the right time, the rules are going to change anyway-" - He was cut off when Taehyung glared at him.

"I've heard that thing over a hundred times now, Commander Park." - He spoke with anger while the other man shook his head.

"Don't you already have someone?" - That statement was enough to make him furious.

"She isn't the one I want, mind your own business that's my personal family matter." - He raised his voice, his eyes burning with anger while Commander Park got up to leave.

"I just wanted to give you an advice. It's better if you accept that girl rather than LC Jennie. What do you even like about her?" - Taehyung didn't say anything and went silent, not wanting to say something harsh to him.

"Get lost." - He spoke trying to keep his calm as Commander Park shook his head and left the place.

A sigh escaped his mouth, he knew this would happen. No one understood his feelings anyway and it was like that since his grandmother died. No one else could understand him well or comfort him. Not even the few Military friends he had or even his own parents.

He grew up with his grandmother rather than being with his parents. He was left alone in the small town while his parents left to the city to start their business. His teen self thought that they were going to come back to take him with them, but they didn't even though their business was settled. They weren't poor anymore but he still had to work in the fields everyday and he didn't know why. He was bullied in school for not having his parents with him and because of everything he saw and experienced, he grew an unexplainable hatred towards them. He despised seeing them and was so attached his grandma that he used to tell her about every secret he had.

Taehyung didn't have any dreams but his grandma did. She wanted him to be a Commander in the Military so she sent him to the city by herself. He wanted to fulfill her dream so he worked hard for it and got accepted in the Military. But before her actual dream came true, she passed away when Taehyung was still under training. Nevertheless, he did fulfill her wish and became a Commander.

Everything was going fine in his life after her passing, not until his parents remembered they had a son.

The morning had already arrived as the sun shined brightly through the curtains of the girl's dorm. None of them were aware that they had slept longer than usual because the training was cancelled.

The brunette girl blinked her eyes trying to adjust to the sunlight as she had just woken up. She rubbed her eyes and sat up when the realization suddenly hit her making her look around. Her eyes fell on her sleeping roommates as she frowned before glancing at the wall clock. It was past 9 AM.

"We didn't have training and classes today..?" - She mumbled to herself and stretched her arms before suddenly sneezing.

Her eyes were feeling hot and her body was aching for an unknown reason as she massaged her shoulder and diverted her gaze upon her blonde friend who was moving in her bed.

"Good morning." - Her voice came out low and a little deeper than usual. At that moment she understood, she had a fever.

"How did we sleep til 9 am?" - Somi asked making Jennie shrug her shoulders.

"I think they gave us an off today. Otherwise that loud alarm would've woken us up." - Somi nodded and got down from her bed as she went towards Juda to wake her up while Jennie laid down again.

"Can you bring me breakfast here? I think I have a fever." - Jennie requested as the blonde girl nodded before shaking her other roommate.

"Yah, wake up." - Juda groaned and peeked down from her bed with half open eyes.

"What?" - She asked in her sleepy voice.

"It's past 9 already, wake up and let's go get breakfast." - She said and went to the bathroom.

Jennie was laying in her bed as her mind was occupied with the thoughts of last night.

'What could've the Commander possibly said?'

That was all she could think of at the moment.
