•✧ JENNIE'S POV ✧•
The rain poured down her body making shivers run down her spine, she was already wet. Jennie was standing outside the medical clinic, her eyes were glued on the curtains that stopped her from seeing the person she longed to see. She had been standing there for more than an hour now, wanting to go inside to see him but something inside her was stopping her.
" Excuse me, LC Jennie? " - She was startled when someone placed a hand on her shoulder. She turned around, it was a nurse.
" It's you right? Why are you standing here in the rain? " - The woman politely asked. Jennie was silent, she kept taking glances inside the clinic and the nurse figured out she wanted to see someone.
" Do you want to see someone? " - She asked, receiving a nod this time.
" H-him. " - Jennie pointed towards his bed through the glass. The nurse followed her hand as her gaze landed on the bed. She sighed before smiling.
" He's out of danger now, he was shot in his right arm but the bullet passed through it. The other wounds were caused by falling from a hill. " - She explained, a deep sigh escaped Jennie's mouth making the nurse chuckle.
" If you want to meet him, it's better to come around 1 AM. No one will be here by then. " - She handed the umbrella to her while she stared at her in confusion.
" Now go back and take a warm shower so you don't catch a cold." - After saying that she entered the clinic, leaving Jennie standing alone.
Her eyes were still stuck inside the clinic. The nurse knew she was still there so she suddenly pulled the curtains aside, and there he was. Laying in the bed unconscious with bandages all over his arm and head. She finally swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat, a wave of relief ran through her body when she saw him sleeping peacefully. At least he wasn't in danger anymore.

She came out of the shower as her eyes fell on her roommates who were already laying in their beds, she wasn't sure if they were asleep or not, it was midnight already as the clock was about to hit 1:30 AM.
When Jennie came back to her dorm, she decided to complete her unfinished assignment instead of taking a shower first. She was sure she had caught a cold already since she couldn't even count the times she had sneezed. Her body was slightly shivering from the chilling wind blowing outside, she didn't have any jacket or coat as well so she could wear it before heading out.
She stepped towards her small cupboard and took out some warm clothes, she wore a baby blue cardigan paired with black sweatpants and closed the cupboard again. After taking a quick glance at the blonde and black haired girls, she made sure they were asleep and decided to head out.
She didn't dry her hair because her partners were asleep already, her wet hair strands were making her look like a puppy who had just taken a bath, her innocence was visible from the way she was unconsciously pouting her lips. She had this habit since she was in highschool.
Slowly stepping out of her dorm, she closed the door behind her and hurried to get out of the dormitory, she was too eager to meet him..
Her steps halted in the entrance of the building, the rain had stopped already but the atmosphere was extremely chilly as she couldn't help but to rub her arms to get some warmth.
" So cold. " - She mumbled and walked down the stairs, her destination wasn't so far but the cold weather was making it difficult.
It was pitch black outside, only the lamps along the pathway were lit making her surroundings look creepy. The silence was too loud making her regret her decisions of coming out this late, but no. She was still determined that she wanted to meet him.
Her gaze was now at the door of the clinic, only a few lights were on inside it and the door seemed to be still open, although she couldn't see any doctors or soldiers around the area. She wondered if the nurse from before was still here, she was the one who suggested coming this late anyway. But there was no way she was blaming this on the nurse, the one who couldn't wait to see Taehyung was her.
She extended her arm to open the door of the clinic, her trembling hands were now visible to her making her sigh. What had she gotten herself into.
The door pushed open as she stepped inside, her eyes were stuck on his unconscious figure. No one was present there as the place was completely empty except for the patients laying there. One of them being him and the others being staff that probably got sick from their hard work.
She slowly made her way towards him not knowing why her heart was ready to jump out of her ribcage, she was feeling nervous all of a sudden.
He was sleeping peacefully because of the medicine he was given, so she decided to watch him until he woke up. She had the opportunity to observe him this close for the first time and she couldn't lie his visuals were extremely breath-taking. How could someone be this beautiful?
She was busy staring at him when he suddenly moved making her startled, she immediately held his hand as he was slowly opening his eyes.
" A-are you okay? " - She asked, her voice coming out as a whisper.
He turned his face to take a look at her. Suddenly, he brought his hand near her face as he cupped her cheek, slowly caressing it bringing tears to her eyes.
" Did I scare you? " - He whispered back as he didn't have much energy.
Jennie held his hand that was on her cheek and kissed it, she knew she was about to cry and he wouldn't like it.
" I told you n-not to get hurt. " - Her voice broke, tears slipped down her cheeks making him sigh.
" It's not in my control, princess. But I'm fine. " - She sniffed and shook her head.
" S-stop lying already." - He wiped her tears with his thumb, he tried to sit up.
" Wait. " - She got up from the chair and helped him sit properly.
She was about to sit down again when he pulled her hand and made her sit on the bed beside him. He brought his hand up to her hair to caress it and stared in her eyes, suddenly smiling making her frow her eyebrows.
" Why are you so worried, hmm? " - He asked, he wanted to know the answer but knew she wasn't going to answer.
She stayed silent, she didn't want to answer that question just like how he thought. Her eyes were shining with innocence, he could see the strong emotions she held in her ocean deep orbs. Worry and sadness was visible in it along with an unexplainable emotion he couldn't understand, she was confusing him with her feelings.
" I'm confused. " - She finally spoke, but that wasn't the answer he expected from her. Maybe he didn't expect an answer at all.
" That innocence in your eyes.. makes me want to do something you won't like. " - His voice became deep, he was maintaining eye contact with her.
Her eyes suddenly diverted from his eyes to his lips, she brought her hand towards his jaw as she cupped it and pulled him into a kiss, pouring all her unexplainable emotions in it while he was surprised by her actions. She was confusing him and herself as well, maybe only him because she was starting to realize what's wrong with her emotions. But she didn't want to accept the reality, she wasn't sure if what she was feeling was right or not.
This was the first time she was acknowledging her feelings for him, she couldn't move her lips and neither did he move his.
They were so lost in the moment that they didn't realize someone was watching them until someone cleared their throat making Jennie's eyes shoot open.
" I think I came at the wrong
time."
