•✧ JENNIE'S POV ✧•
She was following the soldier as he was taking her to his office. It felt like she was about to enter the lion's den and God knows what he called her to his office for. Her heart was once again pounding against her ribcage, her muscles were tensed up for the millionth time. She didn't want to feel this way but everytime she was in front of him or was even thinking of him, it made her heart jump.
She was currently in her comfortable clothes and not in her Military uniform as the training was over a few hours ago. Her legs were exposed, as well as most of her thighs. She was wearing an oversized, white sweatshirt and on top of it was a hand-knitted beige colored vest that was the same length as the shirt. Her hair wasn't in a ponytail as she let it fall on her shoulders.
His steps halted in front of a room that was labeled with the tag of " Commander Kim Taehyung ". The soldier gestured Jennie to enter the room while he went further down the hallway.
" Why do I have to go alone.." - She mumbled to herself as she watched his figure disappear from her sight.
She released the breath she was holding for so long and took a breath in again before knocking on the door three times. She waited for him to answer so that she could enter the room, a few seconds later she heard a deep voice telling her to come inside.
Her hand landed on the door's handle as she twisted it before opening the door. She stepped inside the room with her eyes on the floor, she bowed to him still not looking at him and slowly walked forward.
" Y-you called me? " - Her eyes moved from the floor to his eyes.
She gripped on her sweater when she saw how deadly he was glaring at her. She didn't know what she did but one thing she did know was that she was doomed.
" Can you explain which formula was used to solve this equation? " - He spoke pointing at the blank test placed on his table.
Her eyes scanned the question and the solution immediately popped up in her head.
" T-the division method. " - He nodded and pulled out a test sheet from the pile of papers placed on his desk.
" Then why did you use the wrong formula here? " - He almost slammed his hand on the table as he showed her the solved paper she had handed to him.
Her eyes slowly widened, she thought she had used the right formula but accidentally used the wrong one.
" S-sir I-i.. " - No more words came out of her mouth as her grip on her sweater tightened even more, her eyes were pointed down at her feet as she didn't dare to look at him while he spoke.
" Where is your mind at Jennie? Do you know how irresponsible this proves you are? What if this was an important test that could determine your entire career, then what would you do? " - He raised his voice making her almost flinch as she took a step back from his table.
" I-i'm s-sorry.. " - Her voice almost came out as a whisper making him notice how she was about to cry but tried her best to hold her tears back.
" I won't be adding the marks of this test to the final list. I will take your test again tomorrow after class ends. Make sure you directly come here after changing your uniform. Understood? " - He lowered his voice, waiting for her to answer.
She only replied with a nod as she kept staring at her feet. He stared at her for a few seconds before he spoke again.
" Go back now. Don't get upset because of this, you will learn from your mistakes. " - She nodded and bowed to him again before turning around as she hurried to step out of his office.

Her eyes scanned the rooftop as she tried to find a decent corner that she could sit in. As soon as she saw an almost hidden place at the end of the rooftop, she ran towards it and sat down on the ground, her back was facing the wall as she hugged her legs.
" Don't cry.. don't cry. " - She kept whispering to herself but it was all useless when her tears slipped out of her eyes.
" S-seriously.. I said don't cry you idiot.. " - She quietly sobbed while burying her face into her knees.
She was already upset since the morning and him scolding her made her mood even more upset. She didn't want to cry but she knew she wouldn't be able to control when there was no one around to comfort her for the little mistakes she made.
" I-i'm so s-stupid. " - She angrily kicked the small stone in front of her foot.
Her sobs got lighter and lighter as a few minutes passed by. The cold wind was brushing with her skin and it made her shiver as it was getting colder with the sun slowly setting. She sat there quietly, not doing anything. A lot of things were on her mind and she didn't know how to get them off. She knew she would make her roommates worried for no reason as they're quick to notice the changes in her mood.
She suddenly heard footsteps coming towards her direction and it made her alert as she hurriedly stood up, knowing someone was already standing there watching her.
" I told you not to get upset because of it, little one. " - His voice went through her ears and she felt like crying again.
" I-i'm not upset because of t-the test. " - She spoke, anger visible in her voice making him chuckle.
" Did I scold you too much? " - He asked, coming closer to her.
" No. It was m-my fault anyway." - Her eyes were still pointed somewhere else. She didn't want to look at his eyes as he would notice that she cried.
" Look at me then. " - She immediately shook her head but he held her jaw making her look at him.
Her hands closed into a fist again as she pressed her lips together, it became her habit to clench her fists whenever she felt nervous.
" Why did you cry? " - His voice was rather stern this time.
" I-i didn't. " - She lied, and he knew she was lying.
" Stop lying to me. " - He kept staring into her eyes and she didn't look away as well.
Tears once again started building up in her small eyes and as the sunlight of the sun reflected off of them, it made him sigh before he leaned closer to her.
Once again, he attached his soft lips with hers. She closed her eyes, she wasn't surprised like how she was before. The kiss wasn't like how it was last time.. it held even more emotions inside of it this time. Tears slid down her cheeks again, she didn't kiss him back and he didn't mind it.
Just after a few seconds he parted away from her and she immediately broke down in tears. She was in his embrace as he had pulled her closer to his chest, he sensed something had made her upset even before he scolded her. He had noticed it in the morning but he had to scold her, otherwise how was she gonna learn from her mistakes.
" What's wrong, hmm? " - His voice was softer than before.
" I-its.. my f-father's death anniversary t-today. "
