•✧ JENNIE'S POV ✧•

All the Cadets were peacefully solving their test sheets including Jennie as she was almost done. She was glad that all the questions on the test were easy for her to solve as she had worked hard for it.

Just as she had completed her test, she got up and grabbed her things from the desk before she headed to the front of the class to hand the solved paper back. She didn't notice how she was being stared at for the past few minutes, and his eyes were still stuck her smiley face.

High ponytail suited her a lot, as it complimented her small face making her look simple yet beautiful. And that was all he noticed about her in the few minutes he got to stare at her.

She was now standing in front of him as he was leaned on the white board behind him and his arms were folded in front of his chest.
The small smile on her face turned into a shy one as she slowly extended her hand towards him so he could take the test from her. But instead, he kept on staring at her which made her feel nervous again.

They weren't alone in the classroom, and she knew the other students were going to look at them weirdly if they saw him looking at her like that. She sighed as she felt defeated, she had to call him name.

" Commander Kim.. the test. " - She spoke, almost whispered as she tried to keep her voice down.

" You can keep it on the table. " - He finally spoke making her head jolt towards the side as she glanced at the teacher's table.

Her eyes widened when she saw a male student placing the test on top of the pile of papers. Her cheeks burned in embarrassment as she instantly pulled her hand back before she walked towards the table and without looking back she ran out of the classroom.

She heard him chuckle before she ran outside making her even more embarrassed as she slapped her forehead before whining.

" Wah- I can't believe how dumb I am. " - She scoffed at herself before walking towards the exit of the building.

She came outside as a sigh escaped her mouth. Her muscles were still sore as today the third week of training had started and the cadets had to run two extra laps just like how they were told. Even just the thought of running 7 laps for the next entire week was making her sick.

Her steps went closer to the garden once again, she found that place incredibly calming and peaceful for some reason. Walking towards the big tree, she sat down on the grass and leaned her back onto the trunk of the tree, her eyes automatically closed by themselves.

Another sigh escaped her mouth, she was quite upset today. Because it was the anniversary of her father's death. She didn't want anyone to know about it, she wasn't the type who liked receiving pitiful looks and look pathetic in other people's eyes. Her father was the only person she shared her secrets with and after he died, her daily talks were stored in a diary.. and that too with a specific word limit.

" What's wrong, why are you laying in your bed this early? " - Asked Juda, staring at Jennie's back.

" Nothing. I'm just tired. " - She replied but it wasn't enough to convince Juda.

Nonetheless, she didn't ask her again because maybe she doesn't want to share it with anyone.
Shrugging her shoulders, she sat down beside Somi who was sitting around the dining table.

Juda and Somi had became friends without acknowledging it. Juda stopped bothering the blonde girl and Somi stopped arguing with her. And it won't be a lie if they said they became friends because of Jennie. She was the one who wanted the three of them to hang out together, and just like that they formed a trio.

Suddenly, the door of their dorm knocked making all three of them jolt their head towards it. They looked at each other, confused about who would've knocked at the door.

Juda got up and went towards the door as she opened and saw a young soldier standing in front of her with his back facing her. When he heard the door open, he turned around and spoke.

" Oh. Is LC Kim Jennie here? Commander Kim is calling her to his office. "
