I was walking into the forest because I was very bored like always, when I had found a quarter nearby. I had picked it up instantly because I was broke anyways when I had seen a short black figure standing a few inches away from. It had hid behind a tree on the left side of where I was. I jumped back ready to run when it had disappeared out of nowhere. I was a bit scared and was trembling.

I walked off, now more cautious of my surroundings. I slowly walked along the forest watching my back every time I'd turn. It was a bit cold and dark. I decided to turn back around and go home. Without hesitation, I spun around running back.

 It was a little later when I had saw the same figure again but much closer. It was sitting up in a tree. I gasped a bit confused. I continued to run out of the forest. I sooner saw it again but it wasn't the same one. This one was a bit taller and wider than the other. 

It wasn't alone either. There was more of them sitting up in the trees. They then stood up onto the tree branches just watching me. Starring. I was shocked and petrified for my life. I had turned on my phone using the flashlight to see where I was going. I looked up and saw that they had no faces or any other features to them. They were just black. 

I had lowered the flashlight back down and continued to run away. I gripped the quarter I had found in my hand tightly and started praying that I would make it out of there alive. They had made little whispering sounds through the woods that had made out with my ears. I finally saw a street light but it was then consumed by darkness when a giant black figured had blocked my way. I stepped back, dropping my phone and the quarter out of my hands in horror. I fell to the ground and started crying giving up on everything.

 " PLEASE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!! " I yelled looking down at the ground and covering my ears.  Covering my ears didn't help being that I had still heard the light whispers ringing in my ears. I couldn't make out what they were saying but it was still frightening. It had then gotten quiet. I slowly looked up. Two legs had stood right in front of me. I quickly looked back down at the ground hoping that it would move. I saw it bend over picking up something beside me and the looking right at my face. It was expressionless. I had picked my chin up making me stare at it. It had growled, making me jump again and the stood up and walked off disappearing. I looked around, not hearing anything else and none of the figures were there anymore. I hoped up and ran home.
