Its so hard to make an original character out of one that already exists
The thing is, mostly in all games Zelda has white porcelain skin (*cough cough* Tetra *cough*)
In this game, if you have watched the official E3 trailer for Breath of the Wild You probably have noticed how colorful Hyrule looks in this timeline, besides, Link wears a really bright tunic/shirt of a beautiful blue color. Also, this game consist on eating food instead of finding hearts to replenish your health, like a survival adventure. Princess Zelda (how I picture her) doesn't probably know she is princess (unless of course she is the voice that talks to Link), so she has also learnt how to survive:
1) she was also in a deep slumber and woke up at the same time as Link
2) Survived to the war that destroyed Hyrule and lost her memory (Skyward Sword like)
In consequence to this, her body is covered by bandages/cloths cause she has battle injuries. Her right arm has the sheikah symbol (Impa influence maybe, or Sheik past life idk) as Link gets a Sheikah slate at the beginning. Also, thanks to the trailer we found out that you can pick up weapons that the enemies drop, so I picture her with a Boko Spear as we haven't seen her fight with a spear before. She does have some armour tho, and bright colored clothing all over. She has some feathers attached to the head, I thought the crown she always wears would look too fancy for a survivour, so a feather crown instead. The colors of the feathers will probably be red and bluish-purple like the Loftwings of Zelda and Link from SS, tho I might add some more colors. The waist will probably have a cloth knoted tightly on the back with a simple shirt on top (like Link's). Her hair is gonna e dirty blonde as she might not be able to wash it much. And of course her light blue eyes won't be missing, with different shades of blue to even some light purple/ green (did I mention how pretty Link's eyes look in the trailer?). She will also be barefoot and no gauntlets or gloves. The cloth-made skirt will be of different colors  I will match according to the coloring design of the game. There was probably a time line crash on the game idk (like Hyrule Warriors but massive) , tho we do see some kind of black smoke sorrounding Hyrule Castle at some point of the trailer (Ganon we know you are there)
