I felt particularly lazy today.

And unproductive.

Mostly unproductive.

It started with just practicing a wee bit of drawing meaningless sword fighting.

Because, I'll be honest, I've never animated fights before. In fact, I haven't even begun animating until about a month ago.

I just like pictures. And animating is just a whole bunch of pictures strung together. The only reason I have gotten better at animating is because I have gotten better at drawing.

The above animation is exactly one hundred and fifteen little drawings. And results to around eight seconds at fourteen picture flips per second.

So much work for too little a result.

Anyhow, I started out slower, because the time and movement was something I haven't yet decided in the beginning. Then I realized that the body couldn't stay motionless in battle and therefore began moving that too.

Somehow, Red just showed up.

I don't know why.

Or how.

And the more I look at this little animation, the more I realize that Red just somehow morphed herself right in, right during the third sword slash. I can't even recall when I began to draw her likeness. It may be possible that she was on my mind all along.

I need to take a break from animating Unredtale.

My love for this character is beginning to concern even me.
