I know...

So I wanted to help her too.

She asked me to do a tutorial on coloring hair.

Step 1: Draw your head.

Draw a circle and then draw the chin which is like a inside down triangle.

Step 2: Draw the dot where you want to draw the opening.

Then naturally draw each strand of hair down.

Step 3: Look for the colors you want to use. (I didn't really have color pencils so I had to hurry to a store and buy some)

I also bought paint and a sketch book.)

Step 4: Erase all your guided lines.
Then go ahead and color the whole hair with your lightest color.
My color is yellow.

Step 5: Use your second lightest color to color the end and the top.

Make sure it blends well.

Mine is orange.

Step 6: Do the same with your third color and color the end and the top.

Make sure to blend it together.

The color I'm using is red.

Step 7: Use your last color to trace over your pencil marks gently, do not press the color pencil too hard.

Then color it from the top the the end.
Make sure at the middle of the hair is shining.

It should be a little yellow.
