Its in a book called Inside of a Dog, what dogs see, smell, and know by Alexandra Horowitz and its a kid's book for learning about dogs and what their Umwelt is like (you will see what an Umwelt is in the book) and the highest pitched sound they can hear. How! And BTW Pump is short for Pumpernickel and thats the Author's dog   ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
