The alarm goes off, screaming in my eyes even though I have covered my head under the pillow. Arrgghhh!!!! The alarm was turned off, thank god but my pillow was also taken away from me. Why??! I looked groggily at Sanskar who have already showered and standing in his sweater and jeans.

Sanskar: Ragini, wake up.

Ragini: Sanskar, it's Saturday and only five in the morning.

Sanskar: I am aware that it's five in the morning, Ragini. Now get up.

Ragini: Fine but where are we going this early?

Sanskar: I'll tell you later. Now go get ready. Wear something light and pack for the weekend.

Sanskar handed me my towel and pushed me into the bathroom befors closing the door. I locked the door and stepped into the shower. After a lazy 15 minutes standing under the shower, I dried myself and wore my bathroom t robe before coming out and walking into the closet. Firstly, I packed some clothes, the toiletries and my sweater due to the weather as it's kinda of getting cold. Then I searched some outfit in my closet to wear for now. I took out my white three-quarter sleeve blouse and floral printed midi skirt, with stacked heel ankle boots. I walked out of the closet with my luggage and Sanskar was checking his mobile. We went out from our room and quietly tiptoed to the elevator. Yes, we were actually sneaking out of our own house. Once we reached the basement and drove off from the building, I kept asking Sanskar about where we were heading but he refused to answer me. Irritated, I pushed my seat back and closed my eyes, only to sleep away. After a while, I felt someone patting my shoulder, and I slowly opened my eyes.

Sanskar: Hello, love. Although I love to see you sleep away like sleeping beauty but we are already here.

Ragini: Where are we?

Sanskar: At the airplane hanger. We are taking my private jet.

Ragini: What?! You own a jet?

Sanskar: Actually, we own it. Let's go.

I walked inside the jet hand in hand with Sanskar and once we were clear to depart, the jet was on air. The stewardess served us coffee and some light breakfast. I was really eager to know where we were heading to. In three hours, we were notify about the landing. I looked out the window and saw we were in some place, surrounded with water. We were in some island. The jet landed.

Ragini: Sanskar?

Sanskar: Welcome to Bahamas, love.

Ragini: Oh... My... God!!!!! Really? We are in Bahamas?

Sanskar: Yes, Ragini. Let's go. The car is waiting for us to the resort.

He was right. There was a car waiting for us at the hanger and we got into it. In a while, we reached one of the famous resorts of Bahamas, the Sandals Emerald Bay. I have heard it to be a five star resort and also cost a fortune. But I am going to stay here for the weekend. Yayyy!!!! We checked into our room, which was actually known as over-the-water villa and it was huge. There were many features in the place, from spa-style bathroom to signature tranquility tub for two. The resort was basically for only adults, especially couples so there was a lot of privacy for everyone. The outside of the villa was awesome. There was a wide space, with a private pool and a bridge that gave direct access to the crystal clear ocean water. Damn, I should really get used to these kind of luxurious treats.

I went inside to unpack our stuffs and put them in the closets. Sanskar went out to meet our vacation agent to settle some paperwork about our jet being at the airport hanger until tomorrow. He was back in less than half an hour, while I was at the bridge, taking in the ocean air. He snaked his hands around my waist and places his chin on my right shoulder.

Sanskar: You like it here?

Ragini: I love it. But why are we here? When did you plan all these?

Sanskar: You still don't remember what's special today?

Ragini: Err..... Nope.

Sanskar: Today is 16th August. A year ago, it was the first time I saw you in my life.

Ragini: Ohhhh.... The accident. I remember.

Sanskar: I still remember that day. The heavy rain, your car being toppled, with you, covered in blood and almost passing out.

Ragini: That day when you came to help me, I saw your blurry face but heard your voice clearly before getting unconscious. Oh my god, it have been a year since we met and look where we are now.

Sanskar: You in my arms. Just like I always wanted.

Ragini: I love you.

Sanskar: I love you too. So, you ready for our honeymoon?

Ragini: Honeymoon?

Sanskar: Well, we are married to the world so this may as well be our late honeymoon.

Ragini: Whatever. So, what have you planned for us.

Sanskar: We will be going island hopping in an hour then explore some islands and have a special candle light dinner here.

Ragini: Okay. Let me get changed into something else.

I bravely gave a quick peck on Sanskar's lips before running into the bedroom. I wore my plain white t shirt, peach stripped ruffled wrap shorts and my "just in case" sneakers. Forty five minutes drive, we reached the jetty and got into a boat for our island hopping activity. We stopped at a few nearby islands to take a look at. By five, we were back at the jetty and around six we were at the villa. Our dinner will be served at 7.30 so I went for my shower after Sanskar was done with his beauty shower. Coming out from the bathroom and walking into the closet, I decided to wear a simple yet elegant black and white polkadot, 1950 vintage cap sleeve swing party dress. I wore a black flat and rose pendant silver necklace. I opened the sliding door to the table that was set up for us and Sanskar was already there, looking at the night sky. He turned to my direction and walked to me, taking my left hand in his right and kissing my knuckles. We walked to the table together and sat down. I was looking down and also away from Sanskar as I feel his eyes on me. He always look at me with so much love but this time, it's different. Soon after completing our dinner, we still sat there, having the most awkward conversation ever. In a while, he asks me to close my eyes and I did as he told. Few seconds later, he again asked me to open my eyes. I was taken aback in my seat when I saw him kneeling down in one knee, with a small red velvet box and grabbing my hand.

Sanskar: Ragini, we have passed a year of out life together and made some beautiful memories, but it is just the beginning and still a long way to go together. Lots of beautiful memories are still left to build. After I fell in love with you, I fell in love with my life. Be with me always and marry me. Will you be mine?

Ragini: Sanskar...... You know that I am always yours.

Sanskar: So, it's a yes?

Ragini: Yes.

Sanskar: Yes, yes?

Ragini: Yes. Yes. Yes. A thousand times yes!

Overjoyed, he lifted me from my seat and swirled me in the air, while I held on to him and giggling. I finally puts me down and takes the a pear shaped side stones diamond ring from the box. He looked at the ring once before sliding it into my left ring finger. Sanskar then pulled me into a passionate, deep kiss, leaving me panting and gasping for breath before embracing me in his arms. I am getting married. I. Am. Getting. Married! That too with Sanskar Maheswari. Yes! We are getting married!
