It's the truth, Ragini. I am falling in love with you.

That were the last words I heard from Sanskar on that night before I silently walked up to my room. On the next day when I got ready for work and came down, he wasn't there. I asked Abigail about his whereabouts and she said he went out on a business trip to Taiwan for sometime. It's been two weeks since Sanskar went for his trip and he still haven't come back. I tried to call him twice but he didn't pick up. And today, it was the most hectic day I ever had. Besides, tomorrow is Valentine's Day and most of my colleagues, especially the ladies couldn't just stop talking about what they are planning to do tomorrow. Well, lucky them I thought while the man who said to love me has been gone after confessing his feelings.

Colleague 1: Ragini, what are your Valentine's Day plan?

Ragini: Me? I'll be in my bedroom, making no noise, and pretending that I don't exist.

Colleague 2: What?!

Ragini: Just kidding.

Colleague 1: So what are you actually doing?

Ragini: Nothing.

Colleague 2: Why?

Ragini: Well, as the matter of fact, the person who confessed his feelings for me took off for a business trip the next day.

Colleague 1: That's bad. Do you have any feelings for him?

Ragini: Hmm...... Y.... Yeah??

Colleague 1: OMG!!! Why didn't you tell him how you feel when he confessed?

Ragini: It was so sudden that I couldn't reply anything. And how do I know that the next day he wouldn't be around. Maybe I'll just have to let go of this Valentine's day just the rest in the past.

Ragini brushed off the thoughts of Sanskar but throughout the day, he was the only thing swirling in her mind non stop, so I decided to try my luck and call him one more time.

Hi, this is Sanskar and I am currently not available. Please leave your message and I'll try to reach you soon.

Ragini: Hi, Sanskar. It's me Ragini and..... I... Just want to know if you're fine..... And when will you be coming back. I'm sorry to disturb you. Bye.

After I work, Ragini was on her way back to the penthouse when she received a call from an unknown number. She connected the call to her car Bluetooth.

Ragini: Hello?

Caller: Miss Ragini??

Ragini: Yes? Who is this?

Caller: Ohhh you have forgotten me, my love?

Ragini: Who is this?!

Caller: It's me, your Raghav.

Ragini: What?! How is it possible? You were supposed to be in the prison. How???

Caller/Raghav: What happened, my love? Aren't you happy to hear from me? Do you think you can leave me behind in your life? No way! I'll come after you always. You can never get over me.

I immediately cut the call and sped up to the penthouse. After I parked the car in the basement and rushed up to the house. Locking the door behind me, I sat, leaning against the wall of my room, with my knees to my chest. The phone call have feared me to hell and back. I couldn't think about anything else than the creepy voice Raghav talked in. Abigail knocked on the door a few times, before leaving once again and I was all alone.

The got darker and I sat in my room with no lights on. I was too scared to even get up and turned on the lights. Knock! Knock! Knock! Someone was knocking on my room door. Who could that be? The person kept knocking. I slowly got up and went to my door. With the least courage I had in me, I opened the door. It was not Abigail or Raghav. I saw a face of a person, the person I was eagerly waiting for all these days, the person who I have fallen in love with. Sanskar. I knew that I called out his name before I was engulfed into pitch black of darkness.

I did wake up and saw Sanskar, pacing around in the room. He looked really worried, with his messy hair and rolled up sleeve and top unbuttoned shirts. I tried to get up and in the process, I made a few sounds that gained his attention. He rushed to my side and before he could say anything, I hugged him, surprising him of course.

Sanskar: Ragini, it's alright.

Ragini: Where have you been?

Sanskar: I went to Taiwan until last week and once I was back, I stayed in my guesthouse.

Ragini: Why didn't you come back straight away?

Sanskar: I thought you would find it uncomfortable to be around me since my confession. And I wanted to give you time.

Ragini: And why did you come back now?

Sanskar: I got your voicemail and I was still reluctant to come back but when Abigail called me and told that you rushed home and locked yourself in the room, I couldn't think straight. I came back here as fast as I could and when I saw you and then you falling unconscious in my arms, I was terrified to death.

Ragini: I am sorry I worried you for nothing.

Sanskar: Hey, Ragini. Look at me, you can never worry me for nothing. That's because everything about you matters a lot to me. I love you so much.

Ragini: Do you really love me?

Sanskar: Yes, love. And you don't have to be doubting that. Besides, I will always remind you how much I love you.

Ragini: Iloveyoutoo

Sanskar: What was that?

Ragini: I love you too, Sanskar. I am sorry that I didn't confess my feeling for you on that day itself because I was really taken aback with what you said. If I have answered the other day then we wouldn't have been away from each for these two weeks.

Sanskar chuckled at my confession and planted a kiss on my forehead, making me feel the safest. For that moment, I forgot my fear and worry about Raghav because I knew Sanskar will not let anything happen to me. He then slowly leans in towards my lips and kissed me while I melted in. After a while, both of us pulled away from each other.

Sanskar: Happened Valentine's Day, love.

I looked at the clock on the side table and it showed exactly 12 pm. At last I did have my first Valentine's Day and that too with the love of my life.

Ragini: Happy Valentine's Day to you too.
