Okay so this next one is actually kinda scary, well for me it was. It's funny now, and I can laugh about it but I was actually terrified in the moment.

I still haven't told my mom about this hehe I'd be in huge trouble if I did.

Sooo, this started one night when I was working a closing shift with my friend and she asked if I'd sleep over because her family was gone for the night. I wanted to so I asked my mom through text if I could just go home with her after work. I left out that her parents were not going to be there because she said no when I asked previously. She said yes and to be careful. So I close with my friend and our other coworkers. We got out at like 11:45 and we decided to go to Taco Bell for food, we went with her boyfriend and two mutual friends ( they were all our coworkers).

It was fun and my other friend told me a story about a ghost that lived in her house and it would throw loads of bread at them. Anyway we get back to her car and drive to her house. It  was like 1am, we got water, turned off the lights and locked the doors. She lended me clothes and we went to bed.

I turned my phone off around 1:20 not even 3 minutes later do I hear a weird sound. It sounded like a faint alarm. I thought it was her neighbors car or something but it didn't stop. She was almost asleep so I woke her up.

I asked if that was her houses alarm and she immediately sat up. We listened more carefully and she confirmed it was. I was not panicked yet because I had been there before at night when there was a false alarm.

I asked if it could be a false alarm but she said it only goes off if a door is opened. And we locked all the doors. Then I start panicking, are there guys breaking in right now. I was mainly freaked out because we were downstairs and it was going off upstairs so I couldn't see anything or check windows.

She's freaking out too and calls her dad like 5 times but he doesn't answer ( it is like 1:30 at this point). I panic even more, until her mom picks up and tells us to stay in the room and that she'd call the police and check the cameras. I grab my friends bat just in case I honestly just wanted to go upstairs to check everything out.

Her mom saw nothing on the cameras but said the police were almost there. When they arrived we carefully crept upstairs and opened the door for them. They checked the house and found the back door open. The back gate was also open and it was shut before.

Turns out there was no camera at that angle. Which was freaky, she called her cousin and we followed him to his house.  Btw he was super awake for 2am and he was wearing a polo and jeans like wtf. Anyway he was nice and their house was nice, we shared the guest room they had. My mom would murder me if she knew I slept at a strangers house.

But anyway we woke up the next morning to their adorable puppy running around. And went home where I told my mom nothing.
