God is creating great things in you

"Come and let us return unto the Lord: for He hath torn, and He will heal us; He hath smitten, and He will bind us up. After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us up and we shall live in His sight." -Hosea 6:1-2
Three things will our God be doing in our lives as we embark on a journey in this life as we begun to have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
These are essential because this will help us be set apart from the world we live in, and this is where God will be glorified in us.
ONE. God will break us apart.
You might ask yourself like, "WHAT?!" Yes you have read it correctly. But please allow me...
Have you read C.S. Lewis quote on us being a living house?
"Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself."
― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity
That statement right there says it all...
He is breaking and taking out things that will bring us down and though it will hurt us but it is for our own good. He will then put new things, things you might not understand for now but eventually you will. He is changing you from being ordinary to extraordinary. He knows what He is doing, we just have to trust Him, He is after all the ultimate Master Builder, and the Creator of all things.
He has to destroy the old 'you' in order to make you a new creation in Christ Jesus, a new 'you'. Having Jesus in our lives will definitely change us, and if there isn't any change in us we are not true christians and followers of Christ, i have to say. No one has accepted Jesus & remained the same.
TWO. He will revive us.
Yes, God will break us with the intention of reviving us and this is not just about healing and restoration but this is to make us even stronger and better. Not just in physically but also spiritually. This revival will eventually lead us to that extraordinary path God has laid down for us. And that way is Jesus Christ.
Revival is of God. Only Him can make a man who is considered dead be alive again. Just like every believer before they came to know Christ. We were once dead in the spirit because of our sins but God allowed us to be connected with Him again thru His Son Jesus Christ and by our faith in Him.
THREE. He will raise us up.
As we walk on that path God has prepared for us with a cheerful heart and faithfulness He will bless and reward us. He will prosper us for sure just have faith in Him and seek Him diligently (Hebrews 11:6).
'He will raise us up' is not just about being blessed or rewards...importantly it is about having victory on our side because we have a God who is mighty. He will raise us up in victory over all the tribulation life has to offer, He has already assured us that, the day Jesus rose again on the third day defeating death in the process. That is our assurance.
God raising us up also means that there will be things in this world that will bring us down, even into the point of death in the physical sense but guess what our body may die but our soul will live for eternity with our God.
"and be killed, and on the third day be raised" - Matthew 16:21
One of my favourite verse says it all... Yes there will be pain in this world, unbearable pain and even death but you can never hide the fact that there will be a day that we will rise again just as Jesus rose from the dead on the third day. Remember that in whatever you are experiencing today, all the pain and struggles of this life know & believe that you will rise again because,
"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." -Romans 8:11
You just have to believe.
A lot of things will happen to us and during those times of danger, our faith is in need. As Joel Osteen said, faith activates God.
Struggles and pain are inevitable but also know that there will be a time of healing and revival. Importantly there will be a day God will promote us if we will stay faithful to Him despite the problems we encounter. After all life is about glorifying God, so go and make Him proud.
So whatever it is God is creating in you just trust Him that is the only thing we should do. One thing is for sure you'll be great, because only God can create something out of nothing (Remember we are made of dust).
To God be the glory!
