The operation was still going on. Everyone were praying for Ragini's well being. AP asked Swara and Pari to go home as the kids were alone. They left half heartedly.
    On the other side Rajat thought of meeting Ragini in the ptetext of meeting his jijus. He knows very well that no one would be happy with his presence and he would be insulted for sure. But he could still not resist himself from meeting Ragini. He found the entire office in chaoes and commotion. He got to know from the employee's gossip about the incident. He raced his car in a high speed to the hospital. He saw the Maheshwaris with a pale face. He then heard the receptionist talking about how Laksh married Ragini in order to save her. His blood bolied. How dare he wins over me this time. Laksh Maheshwari I will not let you leave in peace. He marched out of the hospital in a rage.
     After a wait of more than 2 hours which seemed like 2 decades the doctor came out and informed thar the operation was successful. The chief doctor called Laksh to have a private chat. Mr.Laksh,She is out of danger now but she still needs atleast one month bed rest. Also she was stabbed in the abdomen and by God's grace it was not that deep. But please make sure she does'nt get pregnant atleast for 3 months. She is still weak as she lost a lots of blood. And being her husband I hope you will take good care of her. Laksh folded his hands in front of the doctor. Thanks a lot for you have done doctor. I am really sorry if I had been rude to you. The doctor smiled and Laksh left his cabin. He informed the family about her health condition. Mom ,dad have I done a blunder by marrying her without her permission. Will she ever understand me. AP lovingly caressed his head and kissed his fore head. Laksh for any girl it would be a shock. But we all are here right. I am sure she will understand the situation and circumstances which led you to marry her.
    Ragini slowly opened her eyes. She was still having pain in her abdomen. The nurse looked at her hearing her moan. Mam how arw you feeling now. Ragini slowly nodded her head. She was feeling something different. The nurse checked her pulse and pressure. Please wait mam. I will call the doctor and your family. Your husband was really very tensed. Saying this the nurse went out. "Husband, my family", what was she talking about. She kept one  hand on her head and the other one near her chest. Both her hands were bandage too as she caught the knife.She found something around her neck. She does'nt wear any chain. She thought. She took her other hand and found her  red mark in white cloth wrapped in her hands.  She immediatly touched her maang and found sindoor. Before she could react, the doctor and Maheshwaris entered. The doctor checked her. She is fine Mr.Maheshwari. But she still needs to be under observation for one more week till the stitches are removed. And Mrs. Maheshwari please don't strain yourself. You will recover soon. Saying this he went leaving behind a confused Ragini. AP & DP came to Ragini and caressed her hair. AP kissed her head and said, Thank God you are safe now. Beta how are you now. Why did you take such a big risk haan. DP asked her concerned. But sir, how can I see you get hurt. She asked him back. Ragini no more sirs. Call me dad. You are now Mrs. Ragini Laksh Maheshwari. My youngest daughter in law or should I say you my daughter. Ragini was shocked to the core. AP found this and explained her the circumstances which forced Laksh to marry. Everyone explained her this was not done due to sympathy but how much he loves her and AP explained her dream of making Ragini her bahu. Ragini was still tearing. DP asked everyone to come outside so that RagLak are left alone. Laksh came and sat on the stool  beside her bed. There was an awkward silence in the room and even their heart beats were audible. Laksh saw Ragini weeping silently. Tears were involuntarily flowing down her eyes. Laksh felt like being stabbed repeatedly. He was not able to see her in that state and blamed himself for her misery. He finally gathered some courage to speak with her.
   Ragini..I know how you would be feeling right now. But as mom said I did marry you to save your life as that was the only way I could think of, Ragini immediately looked at and but Laksh continued, but I also love you Ragini. I know it had only been few days since we met and we are still strangers. But I fell in love with your nature,your innocence,your childishness,your maturity,your way of thinking, your selflessness and your inner and outer beauty. I know this is not a place where our marriage should have happened. This is not how I wanted to propose you
But please don't ever think that I married you out of sympathy or pity or a token of thanks for what you have done. And I will never compel you to advance our relation. Ragini slightly chuckled on his rhyming use even in this serious situation. Laksh had a slight relief. He then wiped her tears while shivers ran through her spine due to his touch. Please be happy always. All that matters to me is only your smile. You will get all the love from me and my family especially my champs. But please don't leave me. Ragini was truly overwhelmed. But sir. You know nothing about me and even I know nothing about or you and your family. And sir yours in a renowned and well reputed family and me an orphan..and Laksh closed her mouth and nodded in no. Might be you were an orphan but not anymore. You are my wife Ragini Laksh Maheshwari.Wife of Laksh Maheshwari. Daughter in law of AP & DP Maheshwari. You get that clear in your mind. And I dont care about this damn society which pays no heed to the feelings of others. Yes I agree we need to face a lot of hurdles but I promise to stay beside you and we will face all the ups and downs together. And yes you are right, we need to know well about each other. So, friends. He forwarded his hands. She had tears in her eyes. He wiped them lovingly. She was stairing at him thankfully with respect.     The family members who were standing out were not able to tolearate more and Sankar barged into the room with a bang due to which Ragini jerked and fell in to his arms.  Everyone were happy that they were both normal and felt happy for them. She moaned slightly in pain while Laksh glared at Sanky caressing her head. You ok Ragini? He asked her concerned. She slightly nodded her head. AP went near her and slowly caressed near the abdomen were she had pain. Ragini was feeling like she was in cloud 9. Sanky stood there bending his head pouting his lips while getting scoldings from DP like a school boy while Adarsh and Laksh were glaring him. Sir please, Ragini started when DP turned to her. Ragini. Beta you still call me sir. I told you to call me dad. Ragini shook her head shocking everyone. Can I call you both papa and ma instead of dad & mom. She asked with a cute face emotionally. AP & DP nodded in happiness and hugged her. Then call us both bhaiyas na. We both always wanted a sister but we only got a stupid brother, SanAdi said while Ragini nodded and giggled. Laksh made faces and hugged his brothers.And how about me madam Laksh raised his eyebrows. Sir...Ragini uttered and the rest broke in laughter. Laado it is unfair Laksh pouted. Laado, Ragini said. Ofcourse I cant call my wife the same way others call so I will use your nick name, he winked at her while she blushed. Ok blush later. Call him by name first Adarsh teased her while Ragini was feeling weird to call him by name. Laksh was looking at her eagerly when she slowly said Laksh and smiled.
