Epilogue
Manik entered the mansion, carrying two boxes in his hands. He noticed the living area had a charismatic vibration because of his twin kids. A rapturous arose inside his heart when he saw his celestial angel sitting on the sofa.
Mahima came from the kitchen with Laura, carrying the ice cream cups in her hands.
"Master Adidev!" Laura beamed, seeing Manik at the entrance.
"Yes! I came back." Manik spoke out, trailing towards his celestial angel.
But Manik was halted by his twin kids, who bumped into his leg. They circled their arms around his thigh. Disha chuckled at seeing Manik's situation.
"Papa! Have you brought laddus?" One of the twin male kids guessed, observing the box in his father's hands.
"No! Papa must have brought Gulab Jamun." Another male twin kid hinted, licking the lips.
"Both asked for me shoes for playing football. Have you forgotten about that?" Manik handed over the box to them.
Laura helped to open the shoe box for the kids. Manik picked up the kids in his arms safely. Both the kids screamed in joy when Manik carried them in his arms.
Disha didn't panic after seeing the stunt pulled off by Manik. She knows that kids like the way Manik carries them.
Laura placed the shoe on the floor. Laura lifted the kid from Manik's right arm to wear the shoe.
"Vinayak! Wear the shoe by yourself." Disha instructed in her soft voice.
Vinayak nodded his head, providing a charming smile towards her. Vinayak had similar smile as Manik. Vinayak's appearance and features are like those of Manik. He had the attitude of his mother.
"Karthikeya, Will you also wear the shoe by yourself?" Manik inquired about the kid in his left arm.
"No! Papa will help me." Karthikeya beamed, jumping from his dad's arms to the ground.
"Careful!" Disha's warning tone made Karthikeya giggle.
Manik went on his knees to fix the shoe on Karthikeya's leg.
Karthikeya had the exact appearance of his mother. But he had the mischievous behavior of his father. Karthikeya is a frisky with his mother. He is more stubborn and adamant than Vinayak.
Disha sighed, speculating Manik, who was trying to insert the tiny leg of Karthikeya into the shoe. Vinayak completed tying the shoelace with his soft hands.
Manik was busy tying the shoelace for his son when Mahima chortled.
"Rajwat's don't kneel before anyone! What happened to that slogan?" Mahima teased when Manik completed working on his son's shoe.
"Fatherhood changed me. Anything for my sons." Manik uttered, kissing the forehead of Karthikeya.
Vinayak rushed towards Manik. He kissed his father's cheeks affectionately. Manik provided an endearing smile to his sons.
"So you care about your non-identical twin kids. Not about your wife, who loved you all the time." Mahima mocked him.
"I care about my wife also. Are you trying to create a fight between me and Disha?" Manik argued with Mahima.
"No, not all. Just reminding Disha that you didn't go on your knees when you proposed to her." Mahima shared a mischievous glint with the couple.
"Mahima! He went on his knees for me." Disha voiced out making Mahima and Manik gasp.
"Don't lie to save your husband's respect." Mahima scoffed at Disha.
"Seriously! He had gone on his knees. Even he doesn't remember." Disha mumbled, shifting her sitting position.
"Are you feeling uncomfortable? Are you feeling any pain? Shall we go to the doctor?" Manik panicked upon witnessing Disha's weary face.
"Come on, Disha is in her seventh month of pregnancy. She will have pain in her hip or lower back. You are reacting too much." Mahima said, handing over the ice cream cup to Disha.
Manik glimpsed at Disha's lower belly. His lips curled upward, seeing her lower belly. His wife was pregnant for the second time. He wanted a girl baby exactly like Disha.
He glanced at his non-identical twin kids, who were around age 5. When Disha was pregnant for the first time, he contemplated having twin girls. But life had other plans for him.
Now, he has two healthy, non-identical twin male kids. He thanked God for bringing these two exuberant kids into his life. He was proud when he became the father of Jaidev Vinayak Rajwat and Jaidev Karthikeya Rajwat!
"Do you remember the day when you went on your knees for me?" Disha implied, making Manik come out of his contemplating section.
"No!" Manik replied.
"On our second meeting at the office in Mumbai, you went on your knees before me to help me pick up the files that I dropped on the floor," Disha uttered as Manik grinned at her, remembering the moment.
"Do you still remember it?" Manik asked, sitting next to her on the cozy sofa.
"Yes, I cherish each moment I spend with you," Disha whispered as Mahima coughed, gaining the couple's attention.
"I am taking the kids to my apartment to play football with Arun and Anu. I will send them back at night." Mahima confessed, holding the palms of Vinayak and Karthikeya.
"Play safely. Don't run too fast." Disha fevered, speculating her mischievous kids tugging their aunt's hands towards the exit.
"Vinayak! Karthikeya!" Disha shouted, seeing their banter without listening to their mother's words.
"Okay, Mom," Vinayaka responded, listening to Disha's yelling noise.
"Okay!" Karthikeya replied, running fast towards the exit.
Manik giggled at Karthikeya's playful attitude. Disha glared at Manik after the kids left the drawing room with Mahima.
"Stop giggling, Mr. Rajwat." Disha fumed, placing the ice cream in her mouth.
"Disha, we need to run while playing football. You are telling them not to run fast. How is that possible?" Manik chuckled hard as Laura returned to the kitchen.
"Do you know what stunt our kids did in the morning?" Disha yelled at Manik, who controlled his laughter.
"They tried to jump over the tenth staircase to the floor," Disha complained like a typical mother.
"It is normal at this age," Manik uttered, caressing her belly.
"Manik, you are a father. You need to be strict and punish them." Disha's frustration reduced when Manik caressed her cheeks.
"Then I should punish you first," Manik whispered hoarsely.
"What?" Disha raised her brows, trying to take another cup of ice cream from the table.
"Our twin kids are exactly like you," Manik announced, gesturing her not to eat another ice cream.
"Mrs. Rajwat, you tried to jump over the wall twice. What about that? I need to punish you for that. Your apology or regrets will reduce your punishment level." Manik uttered, leaning towards her lips.
"Jumping the Udaipur palace with my euphoria diamond is the best decision I have ever made. I won't apologize or regret it. I am ready to accept your punishment." Disha gloated, coming closer to his lips.
Her sparkling golden lips, due to the effect of ice cream, were making him uncontrollable. Disha parted her lips, closing her eyes for him. He touched the golden petal-like lips, which were with ice cream.
She clutched his collar for better access to his lips. She had missed his closeness because of the work pressure he had for the past five months. He moved his lip to taste the ice cream-filled lips of his Disha.
Both had to fight lip-to-lip to enjoy each other presence. Disha indulged, kissing her husband with love and affection. Both left each other's lips because of the lack of oxygen in their lungs.
"Your punishments are amazing. I want to explore more." Disha winked at Manik, who grinned, brushing his palm on his tummy.
"We will. Is my little angel playing inside, or does she want to speak with me?" Manik implied, placing his ears on his wife's belly.
"The baby wants the father to stay in Mumbai. Not to fly to London or Delhi." Disha murmured, circling her arms in his toned arms, making him sit erect.
"It seems to be my wife's wish, not my little angel's," Manik mumbled, observing Disha's head leaning on his shoulder.
"Manik! What if it is a boy, not a girl?" Disha asked as Manik brushed her palm, which was above her belly.
"A healthy baby is all I want. Whatever gender God gives us, we will accept it. If it is a girl, I will treat her like our princess. or If it's a boy, I'll treat him like our prince." Manik clarified, causing Disha's heart to race.
She's been married for six years and has experienced much love and happiness. The couple only fought and argued when Disha intended to deliver her first pregnancy at her father's residence in Udaipur.
Whenever they fought, the reason would be anyone staying a little far from each other, which both hated a lot. Disha even won first place in the best architectural designer competition when she was the mother of her two-year-old twin kids.
Without Manik, it would have been impossible to chase her dream. He was the most valuable asset in her life.
"So you won't treat your daughter like a queen." Disha playfully confessed.
"My celestial angel is always the queen of my life," Manik whispered, kissing the crook of her neck.
"Manik!" Disha called him.
"Yes! My wifey!" Manik's enthusiastically responded, lifting his head from her neck.
"Have you planned a name for the baby?" Disha enquired.
"Yes! Manisha or Adisha." Manik beamed, making Disha realize it was the combination of their name.
"So what should I think about boy names?" Disha interrogated, noticing Manik caressing her belly.
"Don't take stress. I have even selected boy names. It was a simple task for me." Manik prattled.
"Really? What is it?" Disha inquired, lying on his shoulder again.
"Manish or Adish!" Manik announced this as Disha was puzzled.
"Ridiculous, you just removed the letter 'a' alone from the girl's name list. You are impeccable." Disha chuckled.
Her chuckling sound changed into silence when she realized the baby's movement inside her womb. Manik was spellbound to experience the baby's movement. He planted a kiss on Disha's belly possessively.
Disha caressed Manik's head when he was peppering kisses on her belly. His kiss created an indulgent feeling inside her heart.
Manik is a dedicated chairman of Jaidev Construction, a caring husband, and a protective father. I wanted to make him happy all the time.
Oh! Beautiful heart! I agree with your words. He is a gentleman. He is a treasure that we have in our lives.
Yes, mastermind. After, Manik is a Euphoria Diamond.
Yes, crazy heart! I agree with you!
"Manik!" Disha called as he sat erect, making eye contact with her.
"Will I be a perfect mother? I am scared that after the baby is born, I should give special attention to our newborn baby. Will Vinayak and Karthikeya distance themselves from me, or will I distance my twin kids because of the baby? Will I show partiality between them?" Disha whined in his arms.
Manik embraced her as she placed her head near his heart.
"You have been a good wife and daughter-in-law. I have confidence that you will be the best mother for them. We will have the best parenthood for our kids's future. Don't stress yourself." Manik uttered, pressing his lips on her head.
"Okay!" Disha uttered, snuggling into his chest.
"We should not worry about these little things. After all, The phone astrologer from Ababwa has told us that we will have twenty kids." Manik denoted, making Disha gasp.
"Manik!" Disha's playful warning made him chuckle.
"Just kidding!" Manik responded as Disha nuzzled.
"I love you, angel!" Manik declared, making her heart flutter.
"I love you too, Euphoria Diamond. My Euphoria Diamond." Disha announced, closing her eyes and lying on his chest.
Manik and Disha found tranquility cuddling each other that evening.
