I know the hype has been real since they dropped the trailer on us last night. But now that I have had time to process this bombshell and watch the video 20 more times I'm ready to share my thoughts. Now keep in mind these are my ideas and not proven facts. I am going to start with the book and work my way into the movie.

So we know from the book synopsis that the VK's are planning their trip to the Isle. We also know that Uma and Hades will meet and possibly team up. Last, Mal and Uma will Duke it out under water. Meanwhile, a bigger threat is at large in Auradon (Audrey).

Now, seeing as we never saw Uma return to the Isle and they are battling under the water which they would need magic to do, it is likely this battle occurs in Auradon. Now whether Uma has discovered a way to travel between both places or not is a mystery, but possible. Like Madam Mom's tunnel, their could be a tunnel that leads not only to the Isle, but to Hades. If Uma was trying to escape or return to the Isle via a tunnel, this could be how she discovers Hades. We can see that Hades lair does appear to be underground. Mine shaft anyone?

Now, it appears that the VK's will return to the Isle at the beginning of the movie and return some time later.

When this happens, there is a breach. I believe by breach, they mean someone has escaped. I have two theories on who.
1. Hades

In the teaser, we get a quick shot of a pair of boots sporting ankle cuffs.

Could Hades have been captured after escaping the Isle? Or was he brought to Auradon in cuffs for another reason? Maybe to help save it? That could explain why Celia and Mal were seen heading into his lair. Maybe they went to ask for his help or question him?

2. Dr. Facilier

We have yet to get a shot of Dr. Facilier, but we did get to seehis wickedly cool arcade.

Based on the background in some shots, I'd say the VK's spend a lot of time here. Maybe this is a main hangout for villian kids so it is a prime spot to recruit?

If it is Dr. Faciler, this could explain how Audrey became evil. If he stumbled upon her, while she was ranting about Mal, maybe he offered her help. Maybe he showed her the person she wants to be, Mal.

And when he did, maybe he reminded her of how Mal took everything from her like Maleficient took everything from her mother and grandparents. Maybe he made it so that instead of pricking her finger and sleeping for 100 years, she pricked it and became the person she wanted to be.

And what about Chad? We know he is with Audrey after she turns evil. What if Dr. Facilier convinces him to allow Audrey to go through with it, because then he will get what he always wanted, To be King.

Greed can drive everyone to do things they wouldn't normally do. So he allows Dr. Faciler to transform Audrey, only to realize it is a mistake.

Due to the breach Mal decides to seal the barrier once and for all. However, she is yet to realize the danger that is hiding in Auradon.

And maybe, the breach isn't 1 villian but a crew? What if not only Dr. Facilier sneaks out, but Uma, Harry, and Gil as well. And where do these 3 go when they arrive? To Auradon Prep to find the VK's and surprised by their appearance, at least one of then gets tackled.

The Crew and the VK's go into the school and get into a heated discussion but then Evil Audrey appears. She goes on and on about how she has been wronged and is going to take what is rightfully hers. She spells Ben and curses him to turn into a Beast, but instead of just learning to love, he is cursed to be a beast until he learns to love her. Then, to make sure they can't get in her way she spells the suits of armor around the school to attack them and keep them there, while also threatening to destroy the isle. Leading to the battle.

Realizing the threat at hand, they put their differences aside and begin to battle.

Once they escape the knights and Auradon prep, they head into the forest in search of Audrey. However, as they search Ben begins to transform into a beast.

They reach the cottage and realize Dr. Facilier, Chad, and Audrey are all there.

Realizing they can't win against them alone, the group separates. Some will stay to watch Audrey and Dr. Faciler, while the others will return to the Isle to get help.

Some people in this group being Mal, Harry, and Gil. Which leads to this photo which took me 4 tries to get a clear shot.

This photo clearly shows Harry Hook, as our mystery motorist from the teaser, or rather, his stunt double. Seeing as two unidentified pirate girls are also on bikes, I think the boys went to round up their crew while Mal, with Celia's help, recruited Hades.

This could also lead to Hades being in chains. Being a notorious villian, they could be taking precautions. Even though they need his help, tensions run high between Hades and King Adam.

Together, the fight for Auradon begins. Uma still has the mysterious stone from Hades. Though she intended to use it for revenge, I believe she has a change of heart. During the battle, things get intense and Mal is forced to unleash her inner magic and possibly transform once more.

Eeventually, working together the day is saved and Auradon becomes safe once more. And after working together,

King Adam and Hades are able to reach an agreement about the fate of the Isle and Auradon, bringing them together.

Well there you go friends. This is my thoughts, predictions, and plot/story ideas for D3. I can't wait to see the epic dance numbers and amazing songs in this movie! Comment, geek out, fan girl/boy, and enjoy!
