** inquisitor's POV **

It is only 2 weeks away from our wedding and I was super excited, but I is also Ezra's birthday and I want to do something special for him, only if I could find him. " Ezra were are you?" I called out in hopes that he would hear me and come. But that didn't happen. I then tried using the force, but that was no use since he had a force shield up. " damit " I grunted. I then heard footsteps behind me, they started of slow but then who ever it was noticed I knew they were there, so they started to run. I turned around and something like the corner of a black cape flying through the air and around the corner. I knew that wasn't Ezra. I started to walk were I saw the, cape corner?.

You know what I saw. Nothing, just an empty hallway, a sad looking hallway " we should really decorate this hallway before the wedding. I started to walk down the hallway and to the stairs when I saw a picture, it was me and Ezra. It was also the first photo we had of each other, I picked up the picture and when I did a letter fell out. I then sat down the photo and picked up the letter, I was about to read it when I heard a crash from up stairs. I dropped the letter and ran up stairs and into my room. There I saw the window broken and all of the other pictures of me and him broken too. I walked around most of the broken glass and to my bed side. I picked up one of the photos and it was one with me, Ezra, Tua, and Kallus. Ezra's face was scratched off and so was mine. I let out a deep breath that I didn't know was holding " what the hell " I whispered to myself. I walked to the broken window while avoiding the glass again. I looked out the window in hopes of seeing something of use of what had happened. " agh, what the fu- " I looked down at my hand and saw a gash with blood running from it. " who would do this?".

** Ezra's POV **

I got home and saw inquisitor on the couch wrapping up his hand. " it looks like you could use a hand " I joked. " haha very funny" he said with an eye roll. " what happened?" I asked as I sat down next to him and helped tighten the cloth. " someone broke in and destroyed all of our pictures in our room" he said with a deep sigh. "Well I guess they don't like use or they just hate pictures really bad " I joked. I finished wrapping his hand, I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. " happy birthday ezzi ", he remembered my birthday. I sat up and kissed him on the lips, he hesitated as usual but then kissed back, I couldnt help but laugh at a thought I had, he broke the kiss and cocked his head at me. " what's so funny?" " I was wondering.... What did you get me for my birthday?". His face turned a light shade of red before speaking. " I know I'm not the best and gift giving but I went to your old home and... Well... Found a holodisc with you and your parents on it, I know you already have one but... This one is different " " how is it different?" I asked. " your parents are talking, but not on the picture but as a recording and I think you should listen to it ". He handed me the holodisc and I turned it on, the picture was me and my parents on my last birthday with them and then the recording started

Ezra, o my dear Ezra. If you are listing to this we are already gone. The real reason why they took use was to get to you, because you are force sensitive but you probably know that by now. We fought to save you even if it meant we would never see you again. Your with your father as I am speaking, this will be the last birthday you have with us. I felt tears in my eyes, they knew that was going to happen and they didn't do a damn thing. " I shouldn't have fucking shown that to you Ezra, I'm sorry I'm so sorry " " don't be I finally know the truth " I let the tears fall, even though the truth did hurt the present was perfect. At least I know the facts from the opinions now. " this was the best birth day ever ". He walked over to me and wiped away my tears " don't cry, I'm right here love, I'm right here " he kissed my lips softly.
