He got my wallet and he's going to give it back. Thankfully. Although that guy sounds very much cocky, at least he is giving my wallet back. I sighed deeply. I'm going to have my rent money back. I just wished he will not ask for some reward. I can't give him anything more than $5.

I put my lunchbox away and wiped the sweat on my forehead. I had been eating my lunch when that guy called. No scratch that. When that cocky guy called. If he didn't tell me that he got my wallet, I would had slammed the phone after telling him how he needs to see someone about his attitude before he gets into jail for seducing a minor. Well, I'm not actually a minor. I turned 21 three months ago. I remember being so happy when I turned into legal age. It's been tough being a minor for me, especially trying to find jobs and trying to support myself. At least people will employ me now without fearing of being convicted of employing underage girls. Although I admit that I'll enjoy returning into being a minor just so I can threaten Mr. Cocky of calling the police.

I put my utensils and lunchbox into the sink and start washing them. He sounds so sexy, I admit. His voice is very deep and husky. I feel like there's a thing inside my stomach that keeps on flipping while he was talking to me. Mr. Raven Hotness huh?. Well, his voice is definitely hot. And he's also so overconfident, I can feel his confidence ooze through the phone. Jeez. I never had a thing for over-confident cocky guy who have deep velvet husky voice. And when he called me Hottie, I think I just melted on the floor. 

He thinks I'm hot? Maybe he was just fooling around. I am pretty, that I know. Thanks to my mother who was so beautiful. I'm very happy to be able to take half of her good looks. Half of her good looks makes me pretty enough, that's how beautiful my mother was. But never did someone called me hot. I don't know if its because I'll punch them if they say that in front of me, or I don't really look hot. After all, I'm just the plain ginger girl. Although when he called me hot, I didn't feel like punching him.

Double Jeez. I think I have a crush on his voice. Very mature Maddie. Now I am very much curious on how he looks like. Putting my things on my back on my bag, I looked at my watched and see that I only have 15 minutes before my lunch break is over. I need to meet him later. I need my wallet and my money back as soon as possible. He's going to have to meet me after my shift here in the store. Grabbing my phone, I typed a message for him.

My shift will be over at 6 in the evening. Meet me at the South Park? - Madison

South Park should be a good meeting place. It's 5 mins walk away from the store and it's near a police station. If ever something bad happens, I can scream. Almost instantly, my phone beeped.

Don't forget my wallet. I have $93 in there. I know you said it only has $88, but there's a $5 in the coin purse. I want everything, please.

I replied. He needs to know that I need each and every dollar in it. And like earlier, he replied almost instantly.

OK. He's a total 100% flirt. I should be feeling disgusted by how he's talking to me. But instead, I feel thrilled. I can imagine hearing him say those words. He really got a beautiful voice. I think I can listen to him the whole day and night and not get tired of it. Wooaahhh there, girl. I am sounding like a teenager talking about her first crush.

"Madison? Can you arrange the new books in the top left shelf?"

I heard Wanda, my boss, said. I work part-time in a bookshop/cafe. My shifts are three hours after school and 9 hours during weekends. I started working here five months ago. They give me a decent salary, but it's still only a part-time job. That's the reason why its very hard to make ends meet. To help with my sustenance, I make my block-mate's home works and make them pay for it. I know it's kind of pathetic of me, but I need money.

"I'll be there!" I told Wanda. I wonder how he looks like. He is cocky and a total flirt, but I am still thankful that he's giving my money back. Thankfully, I got my library's card there. I was already going crazy thinking of losing $93.

"Whoa, girl. Look where you're going." I heard as I bumped into someone. Ouch, my head bumped into the box Luis, my co-worker, is carrying.

"Sorry.. Ouch." I touched my head. That box's pretty hard. 

" You should look where you are going!" I punched Luis' arm playfully. Luis is a very good-looking guy. Tall, big and all muscles. He got very deep dimples on his cheeks that shows even when he's just talking. Half of our customers are here just to see him.

"Ow, shit. Maddie. You punch like a guy. I wonder if you just ate like a guy too? Wait, you just finished your lunch so I know you ate like me just now." He said while laughing.

"Yes, I just did. Actually I am still hungry after eating so I ate those butter cookies stocked in the top drawer. I wonder whose cookies those are?" I said seriously.

"You. did. not!" Luis said, his eyes are going wide.

"Sorry, were they yours?" I said while trying to keep a sad face.

Luis walked fast to the kitchen. I laughed out loud and went to the books Wanda told me.

"And here they are again, flirting like there's no tomorrow." I heard Sheila, my other co-worker, said. She's a one pretty girl too. She works as a waitress in the cafe area. I swear Wanda deliberately hires only good-looking staff.

"And here you are again, gossiping like a school girl during your working hours." I teased her back. She and my other co-workers had been teasing me and Luis since I started working here. Not that we are romantically involved. I'll never see Luis romantically and I know that Luis never thought of me in the same manner too.

"You can't blame me, Sis. Luis is one hot papa. I still can't understand why the two of you just won't date. Maybe you are dating someone hotter and richer?" She said while moving her eyebrow up.

"I thought you told me the other day that Luis is the hottest person in the city?" I told her. I know Sheila fancies Luis a little. Luis never showed interest in her but I don't think Sheila mind. She has a lot of boys in line to date her.

"Well, I'm talking about people around the area. I didn't include those outside our league." She replied.

"And why would you think that I probably am dating someone out of our league?" I arched my brow at her.

"Well, you know, that hunk of the year Dan Sebastian? He announced earlier that he got a girlfriend." She said excitedly.

"Hunk of the year? Sorry sweetie I haven't read magazine for like, well, since I finished high school." I told her.

"Wow girl. Dan Sebastian? The hunk of the year?"

"Uhm, nope. Does not ring a bell." I told her.

"No way, high way! Don't worry I won't tell anyone. You can share your secret with me." She jumps up and down, grinning like a fool.

"What's up Shiela? You make me nervous." I frowned at her.

"Well he announced that he is in a relationship with some beautiful girl with red hair and green eyes." She paused and look intently at me. 

"And he told the media that her name is Madison Brown."
