Catching the babe. Tuesday.

-So, how is Scott doing?- asked Jonathan.
-Roxie told me he was doing fine. Probably he will get out of the hospital today- I responded.
-I didn't have too much time to chat with her, but as soon as I'm free, I'll go to her house- said Maia.
George and Jenna didn't come to school today, which it was weird, since they never miss any of the classes.
We were only three today, and for being honest, I felt like the third wheel. I mean, they even swore on God that they are just good friends but come on. My good friend is Xavier and I can totally confirm that we don't act like that, too many kisses (on the cheeks) or too many hugs. Is weird.
And of course, to change the topic or manipulate the situation, Maia is always there.
I wouldn't let her, tho. I know something is in there, and someday it will find the surface of real life.
We were at the laboratory, and my partner for this day was Luke. He wasn't my friend but we chat from time to time.
We put on our white coat and start writing, our chemistry class was pretty complicated. Most of the time because neither me nor Luke or anybody here like chemistry and formulas. I mean, we wouldn't end up making some make-up or creams or medicine. Is not that bad of course but we aren't too good for that.
Luke looked at me and said:
-Aren't you tired of high school? Because I can't stop dreaming about the day I'm not here anymore.
-Lucky those seniors huh? They are going to college next year.
-Yes, but it's kinda the same thing. Choose a career and face some shitty people.
I agreed.
-So, Luke, what are you going to study?
-I was thinking something about business. You know, numbers. And you? You are more the "read only" type- and laughed.
I put a little of a liquid blue in the jar. I don't know what it was but Dalia, who is the best in chemistry class, was doing it.
-Well, yes. I was thinking about journalism maybe.
-It's a great one! If you are that good, you might even travel around the world.
-I would love that.
We stop chatting and then I saw Luke staring a lot at Flavia.
-Do you like her?- I asked. He looked at me with his eyes saying "shut-the-fuck-up".
-She doesn't know and it's never going to work out for me- he whispered.
-But why? She seems nice and cute.
-She is a precious young lady. But she is in love with Alex.
I couldn't be any more surprised.
-Don't tell anyone. I don't want to know how V would feel about it.
-Of course she is going to feel bad, Luke. Is her best friend! Why don't you tell her?
-Because if she faces Flavia, then Flavia will know that it was me who told her.
-Well, she won't if Veronica receives the gossip by me.
Luke put his head against the desk.

-Flavia will know that you know it because of me. I'm the only one who knows about this.
-What a crap to fall in love with your best friend- I teased and he rolled his eyes.

-I know dear, but well, I kinda feel sorry for her. Not being able to talk about her feelings and stuff...

I looked at her in disgust.
-EWW, Scott is sooo your type, definitely not mine.
-Yeah, you like the ugly and drug addicts type.
And she laughed.
-Julian only smoked weed, come on. Weed is the typical scape. He had family problems and he wanted to...
-I wasn't talking about that asshole, my dear.
She handed me her cell phone, and it was a picture where Joshua was smoking weed too. A big and fat one.
The crap, if he rolled it, the he must know where the clit is.
-I can't believe this. Am I a weeder attractor?
-Just, please, don't smoke it yet. You are too young.
-Says who? The one who is older than me for 4 months?
-Yes.
-Of course I wouldn't. But if my mother or worse, my father ever find out about this...

I knew that Scott was a dealer but not of weed. Of course, nobody in the school know about this. Only I do. Not even the JIC club.
Scott has been a dealer for a year, but just a little one, he makes a little money about it and actually is none of my business. He also works with his grandfather at a company so, let's say he does this for an extra.
-So are you saying that Joshua just started recently with drugs?
-I don't know if he started to smoke recently but the fact that he has been buying from one of Scott's friends is recent.
-I kinda know everything about it. I mean weed. Is not harming.

I smiled and Roxie hit me on the leg with her hand.

-I just don't know how to start or what to say to him after we start talking!

She gave me my cell phone and I got into Instagram. I already followed him, and he did so as well. Now, I started to stalk him.

Roxie got up of her bed and told me she was going to take a shower. Of course, I told mom I was with her and that I might be late at home since she wanted to catch up with all the high school things. Luckily, she was going to pick me up.

-What I really can't believe is that Flavia is into Alex- said Roxie, when she was done bathing.
-Well, me neither- I closed my Science book. -I mean, I did know that they had some story but is actually nothing.
-Yeah, I did hear about that, and that he was talking to Flavia just to get Veronica, or so the gossips are. But still, he is an ass, and Veronica knows that and she is still with him, like, what? He doesn't even look like the kind of guy who will make you scream out of pleasure...

-Sorry dear Maria- teased, -but when you get on a real relationship and start having sex, you'll understand my point.
-I totally do, no need of having my hymen pierced. But I don't know what's in there. I also know that he first start flirting out with Maureen.

-Poor V. Of the three new girls last year, it seems she was the last option.
Roxie laughed at my comment.
-You do know how to be a bitch, huh.
-In fact, he used to flirt with me too- I add.
-And with me. And is not like a big secret. Veronica knows everything. And he even dated your cousin!
I laughed at that kind-of-forgotten fact.
-Which is fun because I remember being new at this school at that point, and he started to teased me. Luckily, Lara got bored of him.
-Did you kiss Alex?
-Ew, never. He is hot but not that hot, okay?
Then Roxie gave me the look. That look she always does when she wants me to admit something. More than a year I know her and always that look makes me say everything.
-Yes, Roxanne. It has always been Joshua in this school. I mean, don't you see? We are surrounded by idiots and I'm not talking about Alex only. About everyone. There is no guy who I can say "yes, that's smart","he is clever", "that one is respectful". They are all jerks and the only ones that I really loved are just my friends because they are great at that! And I hate the fact that guys are always talking about girls and how they wanna have sex with them, or how they already did so they are playing the victim just to don't talk with her anymore. And I've never heard something bad coming from Joshua. For real. In my other school, guys weren't like that but I've known them for so long, like they are friends and brothers. But here, guys are, or friends or pain in the asses. And Joshua is just so not like that. And let's not forget about the cute look he has. He is tall, and brunette, and his eyebrows are so... He looks really hot. He might have, of course, flaws. But I just don't see them at all.
-So, for you, the only one in this school who is really worthy is Joshua Stone.
And I laughed and agreed.
-Why did you start to hang out with Julian then?
I looked at her, my poker face showing up.
-Maybe because I thought I'll never get a chance with Joshua, and Julian wss great, and I was in love with him. And I still am. Is just that right now, I could totally focus on Joshua since we are both singles.
-Anne, I know I told you to write Joshua, but you need to be sure you want to have something like this again. It's only been 2 months. And yes, you are right. Everyone is a dick in high school. That's why I'm dating someone from outside. And you very well know that.
Yes, I know how great is to hang out with someone who is an outsider. No problems at all for real.

-If everything goes fine, Joshua might be the first- smiled Roxie.

Suddenly, my cell phone rang. I took it, and it was from Instagram.
Joshua liked my pictures back. All of them. Even the one where I dressed up as Leia Organa.
