Narrator's POV

In Hastinapur:-

Arjun was pacing in his room. He was really confused and worried about his wife. The other Pandavas were thinking their level best to find out about the culprit while Panchali was busy trying to calm Arjun down.

Nakul (irritated) - Who would have done this?

Bheem (angry) - Whoever this is ! I will not spare him. He will be punished so badly that....

Arjun (worried) - Brother ! Now this is not important. Everyone knows what you will do. Please try to find out who has kidnapped her !

Yudhistir (calm) - Yes Bheem ! Now we should find out who is the culprit. To punish him, you will be handed that task.

Bheem nods.

Maid - Your highness, the King wishes to see all of you.

Draupadi - We will all come. Thank you for informing us.

The maid nodded and everyone got up to leave the place except Arjun.

Sahadev - Brother ! What happened ?

Arjun - I want to be alone for sometime. Maybe, I can decide what to do further.

Everyone nod and leave and in sometime, a maid enters the room.

Maid - Prince ! Rajmata Kunti asked me to check out if you are fine. She said that you could be with her for sometime if you want some comfort.

Arjun (sighing) - No I am fine ! I just want to go to the forest of Hastinapur. Please inform my mother about the same.

Arjun got up and left the room with his Gandiv. Going to the stable, he took his horse to ride to the forest.

Arjun (thinking) - I still cannot believe Duryodhan. He has all the reasons to kidnap Subhadra. But what he says is also believable.

Arjun (whispering) - Today I will know whether I can believe him or not.

Suddenly, Arjun hears a sound near the grass. He gets a little alert and raises his bow against the bush.

Arjun (angry) - Who is it there ? Come out if you want to remain safe !

A man steps out and on seeing Arjun, his face lit up.

Servant - Greetings Prince ! I am a servant from one of the royal kingdoms and I do know about the whereabouts of your wife.

Arjun jumped out of his horse and went upto him, holding him by his shoulders, he started.

Arjun (anxious) - Where is she ?

Servant (slowly) - Princess Subhadra is in the outskirts of Indraprasth.

Arjun (shocked) - What ! But we had searched her in Indraprasth. She was nowhere to be found.

Servant - She is there. Go and bring her back Prince. She is eagerly waiting for you.

Arjun (angry) - Who was that who dared to kidnap my wife ?

Servant (trembling) - I don't know ! I found her in a jail in the forests of Indraprasth and wanted to inform you. That's why I came to Hastinapur.

Arjun (calmly) - Don't worry ! No one will know that you were the one who told me the truth. Tell me now !

Servant took a deep breath and shook his head. Arjun smiled at him and nodded. The servant left the place with a contented expression.

Arjun (thinking) - In the outskirts of Indraprasth ?

He quickly mounted on his horse and rode towards Indraprasth.

Subhadra POV

I woke up and looked around the place. There was no one in the place and I felt my rope untied. I smiled and touched the wound on my hands in an attempt to smoothen it. I got up slowly and peeped out to find no one around.

"Am I hallucinating ?" I thought as I slowly crawled out of the tent. I managed to cover a distance when a soldier spotted me. I gasped and tried to stand still. He stepped forward and gave me a weapon.

"Go away Princess !" he whispered and I found myself nodding. I walked away from the area and saw the huge jungle in front of me.

I had just two ways - one , I had to go amidst the jungle to a safe place and the other, I had to wait for my family to rescue me.

But the first one felt far better though the second one was safe. I took a deep breath and took small steps towards the vast jungle in front of me.

Narrator's POV

In Dwarka:-

A man walked into the private chambers of the king along with the minister. He was the spy, Balram was eagerly waiting for.

Spy - King ! I searched around Indraprasth and also inside the city and I am scared to inform you that the Princess is not in Indraprasth.

Balram (anxious) - What ! Where is she then and what about the remaining Pandavas ?

Spy - The entire royal family is in Hastinapur. They have gone to attend a feast.

Balram (confused) - A feast ?

Spy - That's what I got to know from the soldiers and the maids in the palace king.

Balram - What do you think about this Minister ?

Minister (smirking) - It's really simple your Majesty ! The Princes have gone to attend a feast in Hastinapur. It's a feast to celebrate the growing power of the Princes.

Balram is angry and holds the minister by his neck. Everyone is confused and scared.

Balram - The Kuru Dynasty is not that  cheap. Pitamah Bheeshm and Minister Vidur can never let such things happen. Don't ever try to manipulate me !

Minister (calmly) - But Prince ! They are not aware of such an incident at all. They are there to celebrate the growing power of Indraprasth. I have confirmed with my spies too !

Balram gives in to the minister's words and disperses the spy.

Minister - King ! Now there's only one way.

Balram - What is it Minister ?

Minister (slowly) - King ! Leave with your army to Indraprasth. If you find your sister in a safe condition, come back otherwise wage a war on the kingdom of Indraprasth !

Balram thinks for a while. The tension in the chamber is visible and finally Balram nods asking the Minister to make the preparations for the war.

This is purely fictional as nothing of this sort happened in the Real Mahabharat. I am just testing how far my imagination can go.
