Narrator POV

Everyone gasped for they knew how the marriage of Arjun and Subhadra had taken place. Arjun sighed sadly at the fate of his wife.

"But how did Duryodhan come inside Indraprasth ! Is she lying ?" Nakul asked. Panchali noticed Arjun's miserable state and sighed. His eyes were red with tears brimming in his eyes.

"Arya ! Don't worry she will be fine" Panchali said placing her hand on Arjun's shoulder. Arjun gave her a small smile and finally spoke up.

"Madhav, where is he?"

"Why do you need Madhav now?" Bheem asked looking a little irritated.

"Because the tension and restless I am facing now due to Subhadra's absence can only be compensated by her dear brother", Arjun replied calmly.

"Arjun, this is not the time for all this. We need to now concentrate on bringing Subhadra back" Yudhishthir  said.

Everyone nodded and left the room to find about the whereabouts of their sister. Arjun looked at the spy sadly and went upto her. He looked at his guards who took her away. He was now alone in his room. He sat on his bed in a helpless manner and let his tears out.

"Subhadra I hope you are fine !" he said as he took her duppata in his hands. Her words were ringing in his ears -

"Arjun ! Why should I be scared when you are around ? I have more faith in you than the confidence you have on yourself !"

"But now I was not able to protect you..." he said wrapping the cloth around his shoulders. He felt a strong confidence in himself and smiled. It felt as if she was right beside him. He got up and left the room.

Arjun and the remaining Pandavas reached the kingdom of Hastinapur. They were welcomed by the King and the Queen. Beside them, stood Duryodhan along with Karna and Dushasan.

On seeing Duryodhan, Arjun could not control his anger and held him by his neck.

"Where is Subhadra ?" he shouted at him, his grip tightening. Karn and Dushasan tried to stop them. All the other Pandavas also tried to pull him away. But Arjun was too angry to listen to anyone.

Everyone including Pitamah Bheeshm and Minister Vidur failed to stop him. Kunti entered and was shocked to see her calm son so angry. She separated them and asked the Pandavas what was wrong.

Nakul - Mother ! Duryodhan has captured Subhadra and that is why we are doing this.

Duryodhan - What ! It's true that I am angry on both Arjun and Subhadra because they insulted me that day but I am a warrior and I will avenge that insult by the way of victory over you. I don't have to adopt such cheap means to trouble you.

Arjun was confused. If it wasn't Duryodhan, then who was the culprit.

Subhadra POV

I opened my eyes and sighed. It was a scary place indeed. My heart was pounding badly as I heard the sound of a few footsteps. The door opened and I saw a man enter the room, not the one I had seen previously.

"Here is your food Princess !" he said placing the plate on the floor.

"I am not hungry ! Please take it back" I said sadly.

"But Princess! Our Prince has ordered us to make sure you eat well" he said.

"If I have to eat, I want you to tell me who this Prince is !" I ordered.

He was a little unsure and said, " He is none other than Prince Shishupal"

" What ! Brother Shishupal ?" I asked and he nodded.

"But why me ? I am no longer in Dwarka !" I said looking confused.

"It's an attempt to disgrace the honour of Indraprasth ! He is plotting very badly against you Princess" he said looking down.

" Plotting !" I exclaimed and sighed reminiscing our previous face off.

"He's doing this along with Jarasandh" he said.

"Why is this even happening ? Aren't they tired of being defeated ?" I said.

He nodded and forwarded the plate towards me. "Have it Princess" he said. I nodded and asked him to leave.

"What is the plot ?" I began thinking.

Narrator's POV

Yudhishthir and Nakul explained the entire scenario to everyone in Hastinapur. All were shocked and upset. They all loved Subhadra  despite her refusal to marry Duryodhan in the alter. Everyone were confused of what to do when Shakuni spoke up.

Shakuni - Son ! If I were one of them, I would have surely put forward my demand to the family by now. So I think you all also would have received a message from them.

Draupadi enters the palace room and hands over a scroll to the Pandavas.
"This is the message we have received" she said handling the scroll to Yudhishthir who read it aloud.

To Prince Arjun,

We have kidnapped your dear wife, Subhadra. If you want her to remain safe and sound, do follow what we order you to do ! Otherwise, your wife will face the consequences of your actions !

Kidnappers.

Arjun smiled slightly.
