⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰⚰

All of us looked behind to find Mother Kunti standing beside Brother Kanha and Balram. All my brothers hugged their dear mother happily as Jiji and I smiled at each other.

"My sons are growing in power and strength after every conquest ! I am really happy to witness this" she said patting their backs.

"How are my two daughters ?" she asked as she pulled both of us in her  embrace making us giggle.

"At last now I can spend some quality time with all my seven children  before you all leave to Indraprasth and I leave for Hastinapur" she said as all of us smiled happily.

"But Mother ! Tomorrow Brata Arjun and Subhadra are leaving the palace for one week " Brother Nakul said in a low tone.

"Why ? Is it any royal function to attend ?" she asked looking at us.

"No Mata ! It's a small punishment for us breaking the rules of Dwarka" I said politely as she looked at Brother Yudhishtir who nodded silently.

"But what did you both do ?" she questioned making both of us look down in embarrasment.

"Let me tell you Bua !" Brother Krishna said stepping forward. She nodded curiously.

"My sister wanted to pour water on your son Nakul and Parth helped her to drench your son !" he finished. She chuckled at this and looked at me.

"Punishment for this ?" she asked him. Brother Balram explained that I entered the corridor meant for men and she understood why we were to be punished.

She called both of us towards her. I looked at Arya who went near her first followed by me. She got up and held his ears leaving me shocked.

"Mata ! It's hurting" he said as everyone giggled. I stood behind Arya looking at Mata innocently. She left him and saw me hiding behind Arya like a small child. Arya spoke up in an attempt distract Mata's attention.

"Mother ! I am allowed to walk in that corridor ! Why are you punishing me ?" he asked rubbing his ears. Mata couldn't help but smile at his tone and  expressions.

"True Putr. But you did not scold her for her fault ! That's why I am doing this now !" she said as she ruffled his hair. I thought she had forgotten about me but she signalled me to go to her.

"Mata ?" Arya asked as I stepped forward. I thought she would pull my ears too but she caressed my hair with a smile on her face. Everyone smiled while Arya was shocked.

"Mata ! She was the one who broke the rules and you are not punishing her !" he said in an irritated tone as I gave him a twinkle.

"Not fair !" he whispered in my ears and I smiled shrugging. Brother Nakul asked all of us to go to sleep as it was night. We all nodded and we left the chamber to retire to our respective rooms. I was in my room searching for an outfit to wear for the next day when Arya entered the room.

"What are you doing ?" he said walking up to me.

"I am searching for an outfit to wear in the city. We can't really go wearing these clothes" I said as he nodded.

"Do you remember what day it is tomorrow ?" he asked as I shook my head still picking out clothes. He narrowed his eyes in disbelief and sighed trying to walk away. I caught his hands to stop him and asked him what he meant.

"My dear Bhadra ! Tomorrow is your birthday ! Can you be more absent minded ?" he asked as gave me a tap on my head. I hit my forehead with my hand and looked at him with an embarrassed expression.

"I am so sorry ! I totally forgot" I muttered as he pulled out a box and handed it over to me. I beamed in excitement and took the gift from him.

"You are so sweet" I said when he cut me down.

"It's from Panchali and my other brothers !"

"Oh then they are so sweet !" I said opening the box to find a small box with jewellery and a pink colour  lehenga.

"The lehenga is from my brothers and the jewellery is from Panchali" he said and I nodded. "And what will I get from you ?" I asked with a smile.

"Maybe a prank" he said and began laughing. I nodded in disbelief.

"I am going to thank them now. Meanwhile, you decide your prank !" I said walking out of the room with a frown. He laughed and nodded.

After thanking my brothers, I entered the room to find him sleeping on the bed with a smile. I sighed and smiled at his innocence. Walking upto him, I gently stroke his hair and went to sleep.

The next day, I got up to find him standing before the mirror wearing the dress of a commoner. He was making weird expressions and I couldn't help but laugh at him.

"You are acting like a clown !" I said getting up as he frowned.

"You go and get ready ! I will tell you who looks like a clown then !" he said handing the dress to me.

"Okay ! I don't think I will look a clown" I said walking away. After sometime, I returned to find Arya looking at me with a smile.

"A clown ?" I asked looking at myself.

"A Princess" he whispered as he extended his hands towards me. I smiled and placed my hands in his as he giggled.

"Happy Birthday Bhadra !" he said as he made me wear a ring. I looked at it and laughed.

"This is my gift ?" I asked carefully examining the ring. He did not respond but smiled.

"One week's exile ! Shall we leave now ?" he asked and I nodded with a smile. We both left the chamber holding each other's hands ready for the week.

We met our family one last time and left the castle with different emotions - mine of excitement and his of responsibility.
