Narrator's POV

It was early morning when Nakul got out of his chamber after refreshing. He was really excited to execute the plan he made with his brothers. He happened to pass through the garden and stopped with a smile.

'So here are these two lovebirds !' he thought giggling as he saw Arjun and Subhadra asleep in the swing with a smile on their faces.

"Maybe I should start the festival today !" he whispered as he went back to his room to fetch the colours.

Meanwhile, Arjun woke up from his sleep and smiled as he saw Subhadra sleeping next to him. He gently caressed her hair and got off the swing. Stretching himself, his eyes gleamed as an idea popped out in his mind.

'I will be the first to pour colour on her today' he thought as he ran away to get the powder.

Draupadi was waiting in her room for Subhadra. She had plainly dressed herself for the act and everything was at place for them to execute their plan.

"Where is she in this world ! I am ready and she hasn't even come yet. I will go and fetch her" Panchali thought as she walked out to the room with a smile on her face. Panchali saw Subhadra sleeping peacefully in the garden and giggled.

"This girl is !" she said and woke her up immediately. Subhadra woke up with a start and saw Draupadi finally understanding what she has missed.

Before she could respond, both Arjun and Nakul came from either sides to pour the colours on their wives. Both Subhadra and Draupadi bent down and the colours fell on each other.

Arjun and Nakul looked at each other and giggled. They looked down to see their wives trying to suppress their laughter.

They both looked around searching for more colours while Panchali nudged Subhadra and both the Princesses ran away from the garden to be followed by their husbands.

"Didi ! What do we do now?" Subhadra exclaimed as Draupadi was giggling.

"Run to my room dear" she said and both of them locked Panchali's room gasping for breath.

"Now what do we do ? They know we are here Subhadra" Panchali said sitting on her bed. Subhadra heard the repeated knocks of the Pandavas and she looked around the room.

"Jiji ! I know what to do, come with me !" Subhadra said pulling Draupadi along with her.

"Nakul ! There's no use ! Maybe we should find any other way to catch them" Arjun said as he saw Balram and Krishna coming from the other end. Both of them hid behind a pillar and saw Dau and Kanha pass by.

"Now !" Nakul shouted and both of them poured the colors on Balram and Krishna who chuckled.

"Oh Parth ! Now you were the first one to win" Kanha said in a low tone as all the four of them hugged each other.

"Look there ! The remaining Pandavas are coming here. Let's quickly hide" Balram said and they all hid themselves. Two dasis were walking around the palace. They noticed the Princes hiding and giggled amongst themselves.

" Shush !" Nakul said to them and they only laughed further. They both walked away when Sahadev stopped them. "Have you seen any of our brothers?" he asked to which she shook her head with a small smile.

"Okay leave" Bheem said impatiently while Yudhishtir was calm. They moved further and soon left the four Princes behind.

"Ready?" Arjun asked and all the other three nodded with excitement.
"Three ! Two ! One !" Nakul said and they all tiptoed behind the Pandavas.

To their surprise, all the Pandavas sensed the plan of their brothers and turned behind pouring the colours on the four of them. But they too got coloured. They all laughed at each other and so did the dasis in the Palace.

"Now we are left with two more" Arjun said and everyone else nodded.
Meanwhile, Subhadra and Panchali had fixed pots of colours on the shaft above the entrance of the room.

"Ready Subhadra ?" Panchali said and both of them screamed at the top of their voices. This startled the Princes and they were worried. They ran to the chamber and began tapping against the door.

"Arya..." both Panchali and Subhadra shouted in response. Bheem and Balram broke open the chamber and saw Subhadra and Panchali smiling at them pointing towards the shaft. But before they could react, the pot overturned and the Princes got coloured all over again.

"You both !" Arjun exclaimed wiping off his face. Panchali and Subhadra giggled and ran away from the room using the secret pathway.

"Where will the pathway lead Dau?" Arjun asked to which Balram replied that it would lead to the garden.

"Let's go fast !" Nakul said and all the Princes ran behind him. Subhadra and Panchali were gasping for breath as they reached the garden. "Now what do we do?" Panchali asked as Subhadra sat on the swing.

"Jiji ! Now Revati Bhabhi and Rukmini Bhabhi are still left !" Subhadra said to which Draupadi shook her head.

"I don't think we can escape now Subhadra ! They will come here soon" Draupadi said looking around the place.

"But our plan" Subhadra whined.

"Okay okay. Let's do one thing ! I will go to Revati Bhabhi's chamber and you go to Rukmini Bhabhi's chamber" Panchali said and they both parted on either sides. All the Princes reached the garden and found the two missing.

"Where would they have gone now ?" Bheem asked impatiently. Kanha and Balram looked at each other and smiled. Arjun and Nakul were totally confused while Sahadev and Yudhishtir remained calm and quiet.

"I have a plan" Yudhishtir told and they all smiled after listening to the plan.

Meanwhile, Panchali and Subhadra had successfully pranked Revati and Rukmini too. Panchali and Subhadra were walking in the garden giggling over the fact that they were not pranked at all. They sat against a tree and sighed after the tiring day.

Karn walked upto them and told them that an important issue was being addressed in the assembly hall and that they were summoned in the assembly hall immediately. Both of them looked at each other and left for the assembly hall.

As soon as they entered the chamber, Kanha and Balram poured colours on both of them. They looked at Karna who giggled and shrugged.

All the Pandavas entered after colouring the Kauravas from behind.
Subhadra and Panchali flashed a broad smile at the Pandavas who returned the smile. Soon everyone left for their own chamber.

Subhadra entered her chamber to be welcomed by Arjun with his hands crossed behind. She was suspicious about his behavior and in no time, he emptied a pot of red colour on her.

"Arya ! Wasn't it over ?" Subhadra exclaimed giggling.

"No it wasn't !" Arjun chuckled and ran out of the room as his goal was accomplished.

"You are a blessing !" Subhadra whispered happily.
