Narrator's POV
"Now, who can save you Subhadra - the so called Princess of Dwarka !" he said smirking as he proceeded to her chamber.
He opened the door to find a blanket covering her from top to bottom. He was able to hear the sound of her breathing. He slowly took gentle steps up to the bed and took a deep breath.
"Subhadra ! Get ready to leave this world" he whispered smirking and raised his sword against the figure. Closing his eyes he gathered all the strength he had and hit her with his sword.

Meanwhile, Arjun and Balram were fighting with Jarasandh and Shishupal The Dwarka army was on the verge of victory. The enemy forces tried their level best to compete with Dwarka but they couldn't succeed. Very soon, the combined armies were defeated.
Jarasandh and Shishupal left the field pledging that they would return to seek their revenge. Balram simply laughed it off as they had failed many times in their attempt to win over Dwarka.
Arjun turned to Balram and smiled at him. Balram hugged him tightly in a brotherly fashion. Arjun returned the hug and giggled. He smiled and asked Balram about the thought that was troubling him from a long time.
"Brother Balram ! Where is Subhadra" he asked him with a worried expression in his face. Balram smiled and replied that Subhadra was safe in the room with Revati. Arjun let out a sigh in a relieved manner.
"Let's go Arjun. They will be waiting for us" Balram said.

Meanwhile in the chamber:-
The minister was trying to sneak out the chamber after his task but there was a lot of hustle bustle outside the chamber. Many soldiers and maids were walking around the corridor to ensure whether everyone was fine.
"Why can't I get out of this chamber ? Oh God ! I will have to leave soon or else there are high chances of getting caught ! " the minister thought as he peeped out of the chamber.
"At last ! There's no one here. I can leave the room now" he said and turned to face the bed.
"Princess Subhadra ! Your death was a major part of my plan and now this Dwarka can be easily defeated" he said and left the chamber.

Near the secret pathway:-
Revati was anxiously waiting for the latest updates about the war from her maid while the other Princesses were looking around for ways to calm their Queen down.
"They will be fine Bhabhi" the youngest wife of Kanha comforted her.
"But I don't know why I am feeling restless ! It feels that something bad has happened. And even Satyabama hasn't returned yet. I hope the are safe" Revati said tears filling her eyes.
"They will be fine. Let's wait for the maid to bring the news to us. We can then decide on what to do next" she said as she pointed towards a maid who was running towards them.
"What's the outcome of the war ?" a stressed Revati asked her to which the maid smiled.
"It's time to rejoice Queen ! The war has been won by Dwarka. We have not lost even a single soldier" she said with a smile. Revati sighed in relief and hugged her sisters.
"Do you know where Satyabama is?" Revati asked the maid who shook her head.
"I am here Bhabhi" Satyabama said coming from the other end with a sword in her hand. Revati hugged Satyabama and asked her what happened.
"Bhabhi ! I went to Subhadra's chamber and I noticed threat to her life. So I distracted them and led them to the jail. They were too foolish to realize my trap and landed up in the jail" she said laughing.
"Now let's go towards the assembly hall. The king must be waiting for you there" Satyabama said smiling and all of them happily proceeded towards the Sabha without knowing about the dreadful news that was awaiting them.

In the assembly:-
Arjun and Balram entered the hall to be welcomed with flowers and colours. They smiled at their warm greeting.
Revati took the aarti of Balram while Arjun looked around for Subhadra's presence but to his shock, she was not present in the assembly. Revati proceeded to Arjun to take his aarti.
"I know that someone else had to be taking your aarti today but I am here to welcome you as your elder sister. She will come soon" Revati said as she applied the paste on Arjun's forehead.
"Thank you Bhabhi" Arjun said bowing his hands in fear.
"Where is Subhadra?" Balram asked and Revati looked at Satyabama who nodded and left the place to fetch Subhadra to the assembly hall.
"She never left the chamber. She was safe within it" Revati said and Balram nodded with a smile. But Arjun was confused.
'She is a very curious person. How would she stay inside the room when such an interesting thing was going on ?' Arjun thought to himself and he could feel something was wrong.

Satyabama was walking in the corridor humming the tune her husband used to play with his flute. Whenever she missed her husband, she hummed the same tune and she felt as if she was beside him.
She entered the corridor leading to Revati's chamber and suddenly she felt bad. She felt pathetic just by taking one step towards the chamber.
Tears began flowing down her cheeks, without her control. She did not understand what was happening to her but with every step she took towards the chamber, her heart became heavy and her breath was shortening.
"Oh Kanha ! give me the courage to face what's waiting for me !" she said as she opened the door of Revati's chamber.
"Subhadra....." she screamed and fainted as she saw the red colour of a liquid presumably blood everywhere on the bed.
