Narrator's POV

Arjun walked around the corridor searching for Subhadra. She was no where to be found. "Maybe Brother Balram would know" he thought walking towards Balram's chamber but stopped as he sensed a few shadows in the corridor.

"Who is it ?" he thought as moved towards them.

"Look Princess ! This is your past" he heard a voice say which was too unfamiliar for him to recognize.

'So finally my Subhadra will now remember everything about me !'  Arjun thought as he wiped off the tear that escaped his eyes. He sensed a prolonged silence after which a soft voice spoke up.

"Thank you for reminding me about my past Minister ! I still do not remember anything of what you said, but I am glad I know what all has happened in my past" she said. Arjun smiled in a relieved manner.

"I will meet you soon" he heard the man say and with a small smile, he walked forward happily to meet Subhadra. He wanted to see the smiling face of his wife but to his shock, all he was able to witness was pure hatred in her eyes.

"Subhadra" he called out slowly to which she turned away with her back facing him.

"I won't tell Brother Balram anything about the past ! You can be contented and leave Dwarka now" she said in a broken voice leaving Arjun shocked.

"But why should I leave Dwarka Subhadra ? And what past will you hide from brother Balram ?" Arjun asked stepping forward.

"Are you planning to stay here forever then ?" she asked in a cold tone.

"No. I will leave but only after you regain your memory and along with you" Arjun said in a determined tone.
All he could hear was Subhadra sigh.

"What past will you hide ?" Arjun questioned.

"Our sad past !" Subhadra yelled with tears filling her eyes. Arjun was shocked and confused at the same time.

"Why will you hide our past Subhadra ? I don't understand what you mean" Arjun said, his tone hinting his worry.

"I will hide the fact that you stole my peace in Indraprasth" Subhadra said looking at Arjun.

"I will hide the truth that you have pushed me on to the floor many times" she said pointing towards an injury on her head.

"I will hide your statement that you married me only for power and advantage" she shouted.

"I will hide all your foul plays and unrighteous actions as I am, by destiny your wife" she said in a high pitch Arjun had never heard.

Arjun was really shocked at her words. He could not even expect such replies from his wife.

"I tortured you ? I deprived you of peace ? I slapped you ? And I married you only for power ? What are you blabbering Subhadra ?" Arjun asked with a pinch of anger in his voice.

Subhadra twitched and stepped behind in fear. She was never this frightened before. Arjun noticed her state and tried to calm himself.

"I don't know what you are saying ! I simply can't understand what's wrong with you" Arjun said stepping forward towards her.

"Wasn't it the truth ?" Subhadra asked in a soft tone.

"Subhadra ! You don't remember anything about our past, then how could you come to this conclusion ?" he said smiling.

"I..." Subhadra started but Arjun cut her in between.

"Go and ask your brother how our marriage happened ! The story he tells you will clear all your current misunderstandings" he said with a sigh.

"But if you don't want my presence in Dwarka, I will leave. I don't want you to be scared on seeing me. I am leaving to Indraprasth now" he said walking away leaving a confused Subhadra behind.

"Maybe I should ask Bhabhi what happened on my marriage day, she might help me out" Subhadra thought and began walking towards Revati's chamber.

In Revati's chamber:-

Revati was pacing in the room when Subhadra entered. Subhadra greeted Revati who returned the greeting.

"Bhabhi ! Can you please tell me what and how my marriage happened ?" she asked curiously. Revati smiled and signalled Subhadra to sit down next to her.

"You have always been the gem of Dwarka Subhadra ! Nothing was done without your consultation in Dwarka except your marriage" Revati said.

"My marriage wasn't fixed with Prince Dhananjay ?" Subhadra questioned and Revati shook her head.

"No dear ! It wasn't" she said.

"Then with whom was it fixed ?" she said.

"It was fixed with Prince Duryodhan who was a student of Balram and your husband's cousin. He won over your brother's trust. But couldn't win yours."

"Then ?" Subhadra asked.

"Your brother fixed your marriage with him. You got engaged the very next day without the presence of Kanha" Revati said.

"Didn't I convey my denial with respect to the marriage proposal to Brother ?" Subhadra asked.

"No. You didn't. You kept your feelings to yourself" Revati said caressing her hair.

"Then ?" Subhadra asked.

"Then, the marriage day approached" Revati said and Subhadra interrupted her.

"Marriage day ? Then how did I get married to Prince Dhananjay?" she asked.

"Patience Subhu ! I am telling you the story. Be patient !" Revati said. Subhadra nodded in a childish manner.

"Then Kanha arrived and he too accepted the proposal. But he did ask you to visit the Somnath Temple" Revati said in a confused tone as she  saw Subhadra's expressions change.

Meanwhile, Arjun was approaching the outskirts of Dwarka on his horse. He was hurt on leaving his innocent wife behind but he felt that it wasn't advisable for him to stay in Dwarka anymore.

"I don't know what to do Subhadra ! Leaving you behind is not a good idea at all but I am going to Indraprasth to get a cue for my aid. I will return soon" he whispered as he continued his journey.

"What happened ?" Revati asked to which Subhadra shook her head.

"Nothing Bhabhi ! Please continue" she said.

"All I know is that Kanha had devised a plan for your escape. Your husband was on his exile disguised as a saint. Kanha met him and put forward the proposal which he readily accepted" Revati said as Subhadra had a blank expression on her face.

"Then you both eloped !" Revati said in a casual manner.

"What !" Subhadra jumped up making Revati laugh.

"And shall I tell you something more ?" Revati asked giggling. Subhadra nodded.

"You were the one who abducted your husband. You were driving the chariot Subhu" Revati said laughing making Subhadra blush in embarrassment.

" What am I even hearing ?" Subhadra said looking away to hide her smile.

"Then Kanha convinced Arya and he got both of you to get married. That's the story of the marriage of Prince Arjun and Princess Subhadra" Revati said smiling.

"Wait ! Arjun ?" Subhadra repeated.

"Subhu ! Dhananjay is another name of Arjun. Don't you know this?" Revati asked as she saw Subhadra's eyes tearing up.

"Subhu ! What happened?" Revati said getting up.

"Arjun ! Where is Arya ?" Subhadra asked allowing her tears to flow down freely.

"What happened Subhu ?" Revati asked.

"Bhabhi ! Where is my Arya ? Is he safe ? I want to meet him right away" she cried in Revati's embrace.
