Subhadra POV

It was my second day in Indraprasth and I was extremely bored. All the princes were in the assembly hall discussing some important matters about the defence of the state. My sister Draupadi was also present along with them in the capacity of the Queen of the state.

I was sitting in my room not knowing what to do. It was an entirely new place with new rules and regulations. I looked out of the balcony to see the palace garden housing a pool. I walked out of my room to the garden.

It was a beautiful place bestowed with nature. I sat on the swing and began swinging. It was a pleasant atmosphere in Indraprasth as I was surrounded by lovely people. I felt someone's presence in the arena. I saw my sister smiling at me.

I jumped out of the swing and greeted her. She smiled and we sat down on the swing together.

Panchali - What happened ? Why are sitting here alone ? Are you missing Dwarka?

I smiled and shook my head.

"Dwarka resides in my heart. It is my birthplace and no other place can match it's significance. It will always remain the first" I said.

Panchali (smiling) - Above Indraprasth ?

I smiled and nodded. "Yes ! Above Indraprasth for sure" I said. She  smiled.

Panchali - Now leave Dwarka and tell me why you are here alone ? Let me talk like your elder brother ! What is the purpose and significance of your act of swinging here alone ?

I giggled. "You are sounding exactly like him!" I said.

She smiled and I said to her, "It is really simple. I am bored !"

She smiled and suddenly her eyes lit up, her lips curved into a smile and she gave me a mischevious look. I smiled and silently asked her if she really meant what I understood. She got up and said, "Let's go!"

"But will we they permit us to go alone ?" I asked her.

"Who told you that we are going to ask their permission. We are going to sneak out of the palace without their knowledge. It will fun, let's go !" she said.

"But won't it become obvious ? I mean it is impossible for the Queen and a Princess to sneak away from the palace without the knowledge of the any of the palace guards and if any of the palace guards get to know about this, they will surely inform the king and we will be caught" I said to her.

"I have strayed out of the palace many times without the knowledge of the guards. You come with me I will handle everything !" she whispered in my ears and pulled me by my hands.

"Oh..wait sister ! Let's disguise ourselves. They will not identify us then. Okay ?" I said to which she nodded.

Both of us retired to our respective chambers to get ready for the journey. I was searching for plain clothes in my trunk when I heard someone enter the chamber. I turned behind to see Arya return after the discussions in the assembly hall. I threw the clothes in the trunk and stood still looking at him.

Arya looked at me and started, "Is anything wrong ? Why are so pale and still. Are you sick ?"

I shook my head and smiled. He narrowed his eyebrows and started,
"Why do I feel something is wrong? Are you upto some mischief again with Nakul ?"

I frowned and said, "Why are you always pulling my leg? Do you think I am only capable of playing pranks and nothing else?"

He smiled and said, "Maybe I do think that." I sighed and began walking out of the chamber when he started,  "Where are you going now?"

"To Draupadi sister's chamber" I said without turning back.

"For?" he asked.

"Nothing great !" I said.

"I know why you are going to her chamber ! Shall I tell you?" he asked and I nodded facing him now.

"To complain to her about me...." he said and began laughing at his own joke.

"Do I look like a child to you? Are you talking to me or a small child !" I asked him, my voice filled with irritation.

"Your expressions were reflecting that of a child's ! This is no exaggeration ! I see no difference between you and a small child !" he said walking upto me.

"Really ? No problem ! You will soon see who is a small child.... you or me!" I said trying to walk away when he called out to me.

"Do you have to go now? I was having so much fun pulling your leg !" he asked like a kid.

I nodded and walked upto the door. "Now whose behaving like a child ?" I asked him to which he smiled further.

I smiled and went to Draupadi sister's chamber to find brother Yudhistir inside and I could hear both of them discussing something important.

I peeped inside and saw her deeply engrossed in the discussion. I waved my hand upto her and soon was successful in diverting her attention towards me. She gasped and nodded slightly at me.

Brother Yudhishtir did not notice her changed reactions and continued his recital. Draupadi sister was now confused of what to do. She slowly got up from the chair and went upto him.

"I think it's important to dig the wells first. At least by doing so, the citizens will get water for cultivation" she said calmly.

"But what about the floods?" he asked.
I was now out of patience.

"That's where the dams will help!" I said in an attempt to end the conversation. He looked at me and smiled which I returned. He nodded and left the room making both of us sigh.

"This is the first time it is really difficult for me to get out of the place when I wished to !" she exclaimed and handed over a set of clothes to me. I smiled and then took them to change my outfit.
