Being woken up by gentle kisses is something Taehyung thinks he will never grow tired of, the soft, warm lips of his boyfriend giving him the best wake up call he could've ever asked for. It was a beautiful spring morning, the bright sun spilling through a small gap in the curtains causing a pleasant warm line of sun to spread across the bed. Taehyung blinked his eyes awake a few times before his eyes met Jungkook's, he received a beautiful smile which he sleepily smiled back at.

"Good, you're awake," Jungkook said happily.

Taehyung hummed groggily in response, his eyes still a little hazy from sleep.

"I'm gonna go wake Asami up, go wash up and we'll meet you downstairs."

"Do I have to?" Taehyung grumbled.

"Well, we could always go to the fair without you but that would make the whole day shit." Jungkook pouted as he softly brushed the elder's hair away from his eyes.

"That's today?"

"Yeah, how could you forget? Asami hasn't shut up about it all month." Jungkook laughed. "Get up sleepy head, breakfast will be waiting for you once you get downstairs." He gives the elder a small peck on the cheek before leaving the room.

Jungkook heads down the hallway to Asami's room, ready to wake up yet another sleepy human. He walks into the room to see his daughter curled up hugging her panda plushie close to her chest, he aw's at the sight before carefully moving towards the bed to wake her up.

"Wakey little squish." Jungkook softly says, he knows how bratty his daughter gets if she's woken up by loud noises and that's the last thing he needs today. He makes his way over to the window to open the curtains and let light flood into the room, Asami groaning once he does so.

"Come on pancake, it's fair day, you've been looking forward to this all month."

"Fair day?" Asami says as she sits up slightly, rubbing her eyes with her small fists.

"Yep."

Asami squeals, wide awake now she remembers what the day was. She had never been to the fair before so when they found out that one was coming to their area she couldn't have been more thrilled. She'd been hyped about it all month, especially this last week leading up to it.

"Is Tata awake?"

"He will be soon, let's go make some breakfast whilst we wait for him, okay?" Jungkook suggests as he walks towards the door.

Asami nods as she clambers out of bed, she slips her little hand into her dad's before allowing him to lead her downstairs and into the kitchen. She's lifted up onto the kitchen counter once they get there as she always requests to sit there so she can help Jungkook prepare food.

"Can we listen to Disney songs, daddy?"

Jungkook immediately agrees, he hates listening to these songs so early in the morning but he's too soft for his little girl, so he always seems to do so regardless. Asami hums along to them as she swings her legs back and forth, she's gets handed a bowl containing some eggs and a whisk, beaming that she gets to help with something.

"Just don't make a mess, okay?"

The little girl nods in agreement before carefully whisking the eggs whilst Jungkook cooked some bacon, smiling at how cute his daughter looked with an intense look of concentration on her face.

Taehyung hums in delight at the smell of bacon wafting up the stairs as he comes out from the bathroom. Amazing food was just one of the perks of living with his boyfriend, he's never been able to cook without burning the food so the most he had for breakfast whilst living alone was a bowl of cereal. He pads down the stairs favouring to follow the smell of food rather than getting himself dressed for the day.

Taehyung was tying Asami's hair into pigtails whilst Jungkook made sure they had everything they needed for the day.

"Can I take a toy out with me?" Asami asks once Taehyung was finished with her hair.

"No. You'll carry it for two seconds and then you'll give it to me to carry it for the rest of the day." Jungkook sighs, this was a situation he had been in many times in the past and he is not about to make a repeat of it.

Asami pouted sadly, she really wanted to take a toy along with her so she could show them the fair. Taehyung see's her pouting and crouches down in front of her and strokes her cheek lightly to will the pout away.

"How about I win you a toy at the fair just before we leave, that way you'll have a new one to bring home with you," Taehyung suggests.

The little girl instantly brightens before throwing herself at Taehyung to hug him. Jungkook laughed at the pair of them, his heart swelling at the sight.

Asami starts squealing as soon as the fair comes into sight, all the bright colours and lights making her little eyes sparkle with complete joy. As soon as the car parks up the little girl is bouncing in her seat, eager to get out of the car. Taehyung quickly gets out and helps Asami out of the vehicle, grinning widely at the look of pure joy painted onto her face.

"You have to promise not to run off, okay pancake? Make sure you're holding onto me or Tae at all times, we don't want to lose you." Jungkook tells his daughter, praying she actually understands how important it was.

"I won't run off, daddy," Asami assures as she slips her hands into both of the men's grip, making sure she was holding onto both of them tightly.

They all walk towards the entrance, Asami skipping excitedly. The sweet smell of cotton candy and doughnuts fill their nostrils, and loud music invades their ears making both Taehyung and Jungkook wince.

"I want to go on the merry go round!" Asami announces as soon as she sees all the different horses spinning round and round.

Jungkook lifts Asami onto the horse of her chose once they get there, telling her to hold on tightly to make sure she doesn't fall off of it. He steps back down and stands next to Taehyung as soon as he's certain that she's safe. The little girl giggles loudly once the merry go round starts spinning, making both of the men smile widely.

"When I dreamt of having a family, I always imagined doing stuff like this," Jungkook says as he intertwines his and Taehyung's fingers. "It's cliché but after every failed date I used to daydream about someday having a complete family, and this is the stuff I'd daydream about."

Taehyung squeezes his hand to show him that he was feeling the exact same way. They waited for the ride to come to an end, watching Asami wave to them every time she went past. As soon as it stopped Jungkook reluctantly let go of Taehyung's hand to go and help his daughter off the ride. The elder took a quick photo of them as he was doing so, he was definitely going to set it as his lock screen once he had time.

"Tata, it was so fun! I felt like I was actually riding a horse!" Asami squeals once she runs over to him.

Taehyung chuckles at her enthusiasm as he holds her hand, making sure she doesn't run off anywhere from the amount of excitement she was feeling.

The day was definitely one of the best days of all three of their lives, they had so much fun at the fair. Asami rode all the rides that she could (obviously only the ones for kids, she wasn't old enough to become a true thrill seeker), they shared cotton candy and doughnuts, even a few sweets which both of the men knew they'd regret allowing Asami to have once they arrived back home. Taehyung stayed true to his word and won Asami a unicorn plush which she named 'TT' in honour of Taehyung himself. They ended the day by riding the Ferris wheel because no trip to the fair would even be complete without it.

"I can see our house from here!" Asami claims once they get to the top.

"Wow, you've got such good eyesight, princess." Taehyung laughs.

"Can you see Grannie and Papa's house?" Jungkook teases.

"Don't be silly, daddy! I can't see that far!"

They all laugh loudly, complete happiness surrounding them and filling their hearts. They were sad when they had to head home, but the thought of picking up food on their way back was easing the sadness.

Once Asami was put to bed, Jungkook and Taehyung decided to watch a movie and cuddle on the sofa. The constant cuddles were something both of the men could never get enough of, their favourite place was being tangled up with each other.

"I never thanked you..." Jungkook said suddenly.

Taehyung glanced up at him in confusion, "Thanked me for what?"

"For completing my family, I seriously couldn't ask for anyone better. So just, thank you for being you and for making this family whole."

Taehyung instantly leant forward and kissed Jungkook slow and lovingly, warmth spreading over his whole chest as he did so. He pulled away and looked into the younger's eyes, "I should be thanking you, you gave me an entire family. You and Asami are a blessing, I never thought I'd have a family yet I seem to have ended up with the best on in existence."

Jungkook pulls the elder back in for a kiss, hoping he can convey how truly grateful he is to have him by his side, and how much he truly and utterly loves his entire being.
