It's been two weeks out of the hospital.

My arm has healed and i'm back in fighting shape although no one has figured out who betrayed us or if we were even betrayed at all.

My brother still isn't talking to me, so i'm just in limbo everyday waiting for Zel to come home. Wait, I forgot something. Yeah... my boyfriend fired me from his company, for the second time! This time he actually has a reason being that he wants to keep me safe from any harm, not because he was sent to protect me but because he wouldn't live without me.

God! He's so perfect.

If anyone ever tells you that demons aren't sweet don't believe it. How do you think they decieve people? By coming in a cruel form and threatening you? Believe me when i say they have mastered the art of sweetness. It's like the blood that runs through their vains.

Over the past few weeks i've longed for more physical contact with him. I mean sure there were some longggg makeout sessions but one day, that seemed to stop doing the trick when it came to appealing my desires.

Back on topic... I'm freaking bored in this house.

I heard footsteps coming towards our room door, yes we share a room now and Immediately got happy. It's like my joy depends on him now. Ughh... I hate being obsessed.

The strong smell of his cologne was driving me insane but my eyes were still trained on the novel, I didn't want him to see the effect he had on me.

"I can sense your arousal, mia cara." Ugh. Why oh God does this man have so much control.

I heard that. He said in my mind.

"I'm starting to not like this mind reading thing we got going on." He chuckled and i glared at him.

He then pulled me up by my hips and my arms and legs automatically wrapped around him. He placed his lips on mine in a sweet showcase of love but as soon as it was getting more passionate, he pulled back making me groan in annoyance.

"Another time, bellisima. Right now you have to get dressed because I have planned a date for us in about... 2 hours." He said.

"And where young man might you be taking me to?" I asked. "Just get dressed in something casual. No spoilers." He responded.

I wiggled out of his hole and rushed to the bathroom. I did my normal skin routine, brushed my teeth and took a shower before starting my make up. I went for a natural approach and styled my hair into a high ponytail.

Since he said casual, I went for a long sleeve, turtle neck crop top with high waist baggy jeans and my sneakers.

I still had some minutes left and so I decided to catch up with lilly. It's been a while since we saw each other and i've been worrued ever since the day a legion attacked me at her house.

She said she's doing alright and focusing more on her new art collection and truly i was happy for her.

"Bambina, we got to get moving." I hadn't even noticed when he entered the room.

I picked up my bag and we made our way towards the main door. "I forgot the keys, wait here and i'll be back." He said. Forgetfull being.

My brother from nowhere appeared besides me making me scream my heart out. "What the fuck enzo." I whisper yelled at him.

"Going out with him at this time is not a good idea. Your going to get hurt." He deadpanned at me.

"What are you talking about?" I asked. "I did warn you." He said then left.

Zel came back with the keys and then we left. We pulled up to a beautiful lake with a picnic blanket already laid out and a basket on it. God! This man could be romantic when he wanted to.

"I swear everyday you surprise me." I said. "In a good way or bad?" He asked.

"Is there ever a bad with you?" I responded which won me that oscar winning smile.

We layed on the blanket, star watching and eating chocolate dipped strawberries. Then i heard something from the woods. Both of us turned towards it but saw nothing.

She we turned back towards the lake there were a hundred thousand dark figures hovering over the water.

"Head for the car and drive as fast as you can." Zel said as his eyes started to glow. "I'm not leaving you." I said.

"Mia cara, I can't loose you. Please." I starred for a moment before dashing for the car. As soon as i got in my feet were on the pedal.

I got home twenty minutes after, far less than half the time we spent going there.

I went straight to my room, but the thought of Azazel kept me awake in my bed. I needed to know he was okay and so i stayed awake, waiting.

It was 7pm.

Then it was 8pm.

9pm.

10pm

11pm

12am

I was sleepy, really sleepy.

My eyes were closing when I heard footsteps. His footsteps. I quickly got up to meet his eyes then ran straight into his arms.

"Why didn't you go to sleep, mia cara?" He asked. "I w-was wor-ried." I said, balling my eyes as i held onto his shirt.

He carried me bridal style to the bed and cuddled me still i stopped crying.

"There's something I need to tell you." I said getting hia full attention.
"I think my brother is the betrayer." I continued.

"What makes you think that?" He asked obviously confused. "Because he tried to convince me not to go out with you tonight saying something was going to go wrong." I responded. He made it so obvious that something wasn't okay.

Who else could it be?
