What a life, what a life, filled with long days, and long nights.

I spend numerous nights gazing up at the stars, wondering if I could shine bright.

Evil was trying to dim my light, so I had to open up the curtains.

I opened up my mind, and let God plant seeds on the surface.

I was wondering what my worth is.

I was made to worship, but I was worshipping the things that God said would hurt us.

I was searching for wisdom, but in all of the wrong places.

I became complacent, I had talent, but it was wasting.

I had to face it, and get back down to the basics.

My faith is what strengthened me, now I am renewed with energy.

I am trying to make a difference, before I turn into a memory.

I want to leave behind a legacy, that will survive for generations.

I am inking out hope, I hope you understand what I am saying.

I'm just speaking from my heart, a heart in which was broken into parts.

Now I am searching for pieces to glue,  so that my new life can start.

I am gearing up for the journey, and buckling down for the ride.

Because one thing about life, there is no telling what you will find.
