The ponyville train had arrived, with Twilight, Spike and a bunch of other random ponies waiting to hop on. After they did, everyone settled down in their seats as the train puffed steam and moved along. The purple dragon yawned from how tired he was due to how early they had to get up to catch the train. "Why did I have to come along with you, anyway?"

"Cause...cause...I don't know to be honest. If I'm going to do this, might as well have you to come along with me, right?" The purple pony smiled awkwardly.

"Sure." He sighed. Once the train had finally arrived, they both got off. Manehattan sure was a busy place, they knew that of course. The both of them had been here multiple times. Leaving the train to head onto it's next destination, they walked around going to no place in particular. Spike looked over to Twilight, "So, what is it exactly we're getting her?"  

"Hmm...something that she'll love"

"What, so you don't know what you're getting? We just came all the way here in hope that we'll find something she'll like?" He raised an eyebrow at her.

"Well, yeah! This is Manehattan, Spike. Not Ponyville, we'll have a better chance!" She gleefully exclaimed.

Spike didn't bother saying anything else as they both wandered around aimlessly, looking into shop windows to see if anything appealed to them. "Princess Twilight?" A voice from behind them said. They both looked around and saw a light blue unicorn with curly hair that was a darker shade of blue than his coat. His hair matched his eyes, and his cutie mark was a pink balloon which had been shaped into what seemed like a balloon dog, with streamers. This blue unicorn went by the name-

"Party favor!" Twilight shouted out, "It's great to see you again, what're you doing here?" 

"I decided that I wanted to explore more of Equestria and see what's outside that village! What are you guys doing in Manehatten?"

"Well, we're looking for a gift for Pinkie Pie. Her birthday is coming up and I need to find something that'll work."

"Oh, how exciting! I wish I could come, but I have to get back to the village soon since I'm really busy. Have you tried visiting my Mom's party store in Ponyville?" So that's why her name seemed so familiar.

"Your mom?" Spike questioned. 

Twilight didn't let Party Favour respond, "I did and although her store is good, it's not Pinkie Pie perfect."

"I understand," He smiled, "Well, there are some really good gifts you'll find here. Don't give up! I'll see you around, okay? Bye!" He waved.

"Yeah, see you around" They waved back as he started walking away. "Well Spike, I think we've almost found what we're looking for!"

They continued their search, when something glistened at the corner of the Princess' eye. Turning her head, her eyes glimmered when she saw something incredible. Standing at the shop's window was a pink party cannon larger than the size of Pinkie's normal one, decorated with gemstones of all different colours that shone gorgeously.  "Woah..." Spiked stared in amazement, "It's beautiful, It's-"

"PERFECT!" Twilight yelled with excitement. 

"But It's probably really pricey." He wasn't wrong. After they entered inside and asked for the price, it really was a lot. However, Twilight was a princess and could afford it. Plus, it was for her friend, so it was worth it.  The store pony promised to have it delivered to Twilight's castle in time, since it was too risky pushing it around in public. So when they exited the store after making the deal, the both of them were finally satisfied. "Ready to go back home, Spike?"

"What, already? We just got here." 

"I know, but we want to be prepared for her party. Besides, what are we going to do here anyway? It's best to be safe and go home."

"Fine." The winged dragon replied and flew by her side.

Without them noticing, a pink earth pony with blue eyes popped her head out of the corner while they had their backs turned. "Safe, huh?" She scoffed, "I thought I said no more secrets..."

Much use of the word 'perfect'

Alright, so I know that in the Best Gift Ever episode which came out some time ago, they all had to give gifts to the pony they pulled out the hat. Twilight got Pinkie. Coincidentally, Twilight is looking for a gift for pinkie in this story. And in that episode, they realise that the gift doesn't matter and stuff, which kinda goes against this lol. So in this story, that episode basically never happened. Ok the creepy stuff will happen soon just bare with me.
