drinking culture

Welcome back to my shitshow fellaz!

I'm not in the mood for drawing this times, and I am a little stressed out. Maybe I am going to share some of my older stuff later on, but for now lets talk about drinking culture, because why not.

I wanna talk about this, because I've may or may not been consuming a little too much wine alone in my room... I don't even know why.
Maybe because it's the only way to not feel the pressure of life? Nahh, thats to deep.

(I don't know anything about drinking culture in other countries. Fell free to educate me.)

The opinions about alkohol are generally veeerrryyy split. I mean it is a drug and bad for your body, and I know the shit that happenes when you become addicted, but if you dont overdo it I think it's fine.

I think alcohol in moderation is fun. I can let loose and stop worrying about the shit that is going on in my life. And I become more open.

The downside is, that if you drink too much there is the chance that you vomit. And it probably ends in a hangover. And you forget what happened. And apparently I cry a lot without knowing why.

I live in germany and the law regarding alcohol is... different from everywhere else.

Legal drinking age is 16, but we are only allowed to drink and buy beverages with up to 15% alkohol content at that age. Everything that has a higher percentage is allowed at age 18.

Though the legal age to consume alkohol is 16 most kids (including me ups) start drinking around the ages 13 or 14. Very healthy I know, but germans are generally relly chill when its about alkohol.

I think its good that we get gradually introduced to alcohol, because we can learn how to handle it properly. (There are always some exceptions)

In general I think the way germany handes alcohol is pretty damn cool. And I'm totally not saying this because I'm already allowed to drink and would have to wait two more years otherwise, noooo haha.

Everyone I have met so far, was more or less responsible with drinking and knew their limits. (this doesn't that it doesn't escalate sometimes)
I personally don't know anything about clubbing... thanks for that one corona -_-
When I went out to drink with friends, we mostly met in someones basement and had a party whith, about 18 people.

Everybody would drink beer..... who would have thought hahaha
But we also drink a lot of sweet liquor, which is technically illegal buuut... who cares.
Wine is also often drunk. And sparkling wine too.

Also this is MY view of drinking culture, which means what I am saying mostly applies to teens and maybe young adults, and other people may have other opinions.

Next I wanna talk about the usa. Because fuck between our and their legal drinking age is a five-year gap!
The thing that throws me of the most about this is that they are allowed to drive with 16 and have guns with 18... like what?
Because alcohol is so much more dangerous than FUCKING GUNS!!?!!?
If someone who lives in the us comes across and reads this, wtf is going on? Do you understand this and if you do can you please explain it to me?

In the most other countries the legal drinking age is 18, which is reasonable i guess. Nothing to much to talk about.

Since I don't know about drinking culture elsewhere and this is already 596 words long, I'm going to stop here.

I you have any opinions or questions on this subject, please communicate with me, I am craving social interaction :)

Thank you for your time :)
