Parents are always telling you to not go out in the cold, and if you ask them why they tell you to respect your elders or that they know what's best for you.

  With that being said I would really like to know why I was dragged out from under my gazillion blankets (because the heat decided to work in every room but mine) and forced to go outside in the middle of a blizzard by no one other than my mother.

  My mother the NURSE who supposedly knows what's best for me.

  I don't understand how she can sit on the couch telling my sister not to go to work because it's dangerous, but turns around and tells me to go outside and enjoy the scenery.

The snow in my backyard was so high that the snow went into my uggs.

  I'm not kidding when I say that I put on three layers and my largest coat and was still freezing out there.

  I'm just going to take this experience as reason to not listen to my elders.
