6 Month's Later
[ DEAN'S POV]

"You almost ready son?"

I turned around and faced my dad...He immediately noticed my saddened state

"Dean what's wrong " He asked with nothing but worry now. "This should be one of the happiest days of your life."

"I was happy...beyond happy." I said before my emotions got the better of me.

It was finally my wedding day.

Cassandra and our moms had put in so much time and effort to make this day happen, and when I woke up this morning beyond elated knowing that I was finally going to get to marry my mate.

But as I stood here in my tux I couldn't help but feel the sting of tears threatening to spill over as I held onto my bowtie.

The small piece of fabric brought forward the memory of the girls prom night.

It was the last night I got to spend with my best friend, I could remember that evening so vividly...the way we'd joked around, light teasing like we always did.

"Talk to me my son...tell me what's wrong?"

I shook my head, "I've always been shit at ties..." a couple of tears escaped me now, "But that's what I had Ryan for." I said as I remembered him helping me get my bowtie together.

Then his words popped into my head.

'Just imagine...we'll be doing the exact same thing on your wedding day, and for once I'll be your best man.'

"He was suppose to be here Dad...he was suppose to be my best man...I love and respect Jax...but he isn't Ryan."

My dad walked over and pulled me into a hug "I know son, I miss him everyday too...and if I could, I would give anything to have him here with you if even just for today...But the Ryan I remember..." He said taking the bowtie from me now. "He wouldn't want you upset on your wedding day."

I nodded.

"What do you think he'd say right now?" He asked as he began to tie my bowtie for me.

I smirked and rolled my eyes, "Something stupid...like, 'man up or I'll have to marry Cass myself.'"

Dad smiled as he finished, "I do know he'd be proud of you."

I nodded and cleared my face now before smiling, "Yeah...He was happy that Cassandra and I were together."

Dad just watched me as I reminisced now.

"He was the first person I told after I shifted and found out she was my mate." I admitted, still smiling and this time shaking my head.

"He use to do everything he could to put us together...so I'd be the good guy in her eyes, her hero...from opening doors for her, paying for our group dinners, helping her up when she tripped or dropped her books."

He nodded and smiled, his own eyes filled with unshedable tears now, "He may not be here with us physically today...but sounds to me like Ryan was always your best man...and I have every reason to believe he is here with us in spirit."

I hugged my dad and knew he was right.

I took in a deep breath and let out a long sigh before nodding, "I'm ready."

4 Years Later
[CASSANDRA'S POV]

I sat in my seat, nervously bouncing my knee.

"Are you alright Luna?" The girl next to me asked.

I smiled and nodded, "Just nerves."

At this she nodded her own head. Before I knew it our row stood up and as I now stood in the line I couldn't help but look around. I needed to see Dean's face to calm me down...but the place was way too crowded and buzzing with excitment.

I took a couple deep breaths as I waited until I heard my name.

"Cassandra Jade Giles."

The entire space erupted with applause. I carefully ran my hand over my graduation gown to smooth any wrinkles and also to wipe my clammy palms, I smiled before making my way across the stage.

I accepted my diploma from the chancellor of the University before I thanked him and shook his hand.

After High school I had decided it would be best to go to school, and since I've always loved children I decided to take my chosen career field in education.

I moved my caps tassle to the opposite side and smiled for the photographer before I made my way back to my seat to await the rest of the graduatation ceremony. After what felt like an eternity of just sitting and waiting we all stood and everyone tossed their caps into the air.

I only tossed mine up lightly...partly because I didn't want to have to look for it afterward and mostly because I just wanted to be with my mate already.

And thankfully I didn't have to search for him in the crows of well wishers as he easily made his way over to me and immediately took me into his arms.

"I am so proud of you." Dean said before he kissed me.

"Mmmm." I sounded before he chuckled and kissed me again, "Thank you Love...I can't believe I did it...I actually graduated College."

"You absolutely did it, and I can't say enough how proud of you I am." He said.

My heart sunk a little now, "Thanks."

He immediately picked up on my less than enthusiastic response.

"My love...everything alright?"

Out of the corner of my eye I saw our parents approaching, "Can we talk later."

He nodded and offered me a small smile, concern still filling his handsome face so I smiled and wrapped my arms around his middle, "I love you."

His smile was softer and he kissed my cheek just as my parents came and hugged the both of us along side both of his parents. I was congratulated and many pictures were taken before we finally left to have dinner at our house.

"My cheeks hurt." I said as Dean drove us home.

He chuckled and nodded, "You know my mom always goes crazy with the pictures.

This time I nodded, I love my mother in law but she really does go crazy about her pictures...more so, getting the "perfect shot."

When we reached the house I unbuckled but didn't get off the car. "Dean Love, can we talk before we go in there?"

He looked at me and nodded, that same concerned look instantly filled his face now.

I took a deep breath. "I don't know how to say this." I giggled a little out of nervousness...I didn't know how he was going to react.

"Love, you can tell me anything...so just relax and let me know what's going on." He offered gently.

I nodded, "Dean, my Love...I'm not going to be taking on the teaching position...and I don't when I'll take it, if ever."

He looked at me and then smiled, "Oh...well of course I will support whatever decision you choose to make Love...teach, don't teach...I want you to do whatever makes you happy." He said before chuckling, "For a minute there I thought you were going to tell me you're pregnant."

I looked at him now, "...Actually, That's exactly why I can't take the job..." I admitted, "I mean I guess I could teach and be pregnant, but I kinda want to enjoy this as my first real pregnancy."

"What?" He asked.

"I'm pregnant."

He laughed and then rushed out of the car to come to my side of the car. He swiftly opened the door and helped me out before he took me into his arms and kissed me, "I love you so much Cassandra...but are you sure, I mean last time we thought...-"

I nodded, "It was the doctor who told me I was pregnant." I filled him in now, "I went to get my birth control replaced as the old one had run it's course so to speak, but with finals and then Jaxon's wedding it kept getting pushed off...when I was finally able to go in they had to run a pregnancy test and it came out positive, so they performed an ultrasound and it confirmed the pregnancy."

He kissed me passionately, "We're going to be parents."

I nodded, "I hope you're ready...now...let's go tell our parents."

2 years later.
[CASSANDRA]

I made my way into the dining room with the cake, the cadles already lit and everyone in the room started singing.

"Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear L.J...Happy Birthday to you."

I placed the cake on the table and watched with a full heart as Dean held our daughter and urged her to blow out her candles.

I smiled as Dean looked at me, "How about we help her Momma."

I nodded and together we blew out he candles for our baby girl, before he kissed me and LJ clapped. My Father in law waked over and took her in his arms before Kendra helped me by slicing the cake and handing it out to the party goers.

Dean hooked his arm around my waist and kissed my temple. Together we stood there and watched our family and friends celebrating our Daughter.

A pang of sadness hit me as I watched my Father in law with our daughter.

Dean must've felt it as well. "I miss her too." He said of his mother.

Lola had started to get really sick late into my pregnancy and Dean and I knew we wanted to name our daughter after her. But we lost Lola a few months after I had L.J (Lola Justine).

"It never gets easier... Mom was such a big part of our family." Dean sounded.

I looked up and kissed him, "I know...but she'd be thrilled to be celebrating L.J...although, knowing Lola, this would be a much more extravagant affair if she had any say."

He rolled his eyes and shook his head with humor on his face now, "Extra being the operative word."

I agreed and he kissed me once again.

"Thank you." I said.

"For the kiss?"

I shook my head, "While I'm always thankful for your lovely kisses my Alpha...no...thank you for everything else...for loving me, for making me beyond grateful and happy for my life, for being the best Daddy to our daughhter, and the best Alpha to our pack...I guess I just want to say thank you for just being you, Pinecone."

This time he turned and took my face into his hands gently. He looked right into my eyes and I could not only see, but feel every ounce of love radiating off of him now.

"My lovely Cassandra...when are you going to realize that every single thing I do, I do it all for you."

He kissed me and as impossible as it seems, I could feel myself falling even more in love with my mate. And I somehow knew right then and there that every day for the rest of my Lovely, Amazing, Crazy Luna Life...I'd only continue to fall deeper in love with this spectacular Alpha of mine.

Our Lovely Cassandra and Dean's story has come to an offical end.

And yes...I already know there will be comments and messages about not writing their wedding so here you go: Dean wore a tux, Cassandra wore a dress, they exclaimed their love for one another via their vows, exchanged some rings, sealed their union with a kiss, partied and had a great time.

You guys...I love their love story and wanted to focus on their individual moments rather than the spectacle of the wedding that would've just ended up as filler, It's the same reason I didn't write about Cassie in school or Cassie pregnant... I mean I had enough material to write a whole other book but I didn't want to push that and have it start to feel boring, or prolonged, or repetitive. So sorry if you're upset...but can't please everyone.

As for Steph and Carter, they got married a year after she moved to his pack and got pregnant on their honeymoon. And in the span of the 4yrs since Steph graduated high school, she got married, became Luna, and had 2 sons: Carter junior and Cash.

Dean's father retired from the lumberyard but after Lola's passing finds himself looking into new business ventures to help spend his time...he considers L.J his best friend and loves to spend time with his grandaughter.

Jaxon and Kendra were in no rush to get married as they felt being Mates was more than enough for the both of them. They ultimately got married 2 months before Cassandra graduated college. And as much as they love spending time with L.J, Kendra never wished to have Children and Jaxon is prefectly accepting of his wife's decision.

The Fletchers never moved away, they wanted to remain a part of the pack they know and love...the way they saw it, at the end of the day their good memories outweighed the bad.

Cassandra's parents are happy and healthy and still very much in love, they adore being grandparents and not so secretly wish for more grandchildren.
